Kingdom Hearts 3 Worlds
Kingdom Hearts 3 will have various Original and Disney-based Worlds that players can visit. All worlds have been reported as new worlds excluding the original worlds created particularly for the Kingdom Hearts Universe. There should also be more worlds than the previous titles according to reports. There are worlds that I personally speculate to return such as the Keyblade Graveyard, The World That Never Was, and Castle Oblivion, but I’ve only listed worlds that we’ve been given tangible evidence of.
- Confirmed Worlds
- Cable Town [Source]
- Twilight Town
- Mysterious Tower
- Kingdom of Corona (Tangled)
- Mount Olympus (Hercules)*
- San Fransokyo (Big Hero 6)*
- Speculated Worlds
- Destiny Islands
Cable Town – is an original world in Kingdom Hearts 3. Although not officially confirmed, the world was showcased at the Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Fan Event in Los Angeles. The world contains plenty of white buildings with multiple layers and cables connecting to each other. This world is most likely the world where Xehanort and Eraqus trained to become Keyblade Masters due to reports indicating within one of the buildings a chess board and pieces similar to the Kingdom Hearts 3 E3 2015 opening scene.
Twilight Town – was first revealed in Kingdom Hearts 3 Announcement Trailer. Twilight Town is also the first world in Kingdom Hearts 2, where we play as Roxas. Interestingly, it would seem the denizens of Twilight Town fixed the gaping hole in the wall leading to the Old Mansion (E3 2015 Trailer) or likely the world doesn’t represent the end product.
Mysterious Tower – was first revealed in Kingdom Hearts 3 Jump Festa Trailer. Seeing as Kingdom Hearts 3 takes places directly after Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, it makes the most sense. The world is ruled by Yen Sid.
Kingdom of Corona is officially the first world announced for Kingdom Hearts 3 by Tangled’s Director, Roy Conli. It’s official name was not revealed until tweeted by Kingdom Hearts Official Twitter Page. Kingdom of Corona is based on Tangled.
San Fransokyo – is officially the second world announced for Kingdom Hearts 3 by Big Hero 6’s Director, Roy Conli. Although its official in-game name has not been revealed, it will likely be San Fransokyo seeing as the city in which the world is based on is in fact San Fransokyo. San Fransokyo is based on Big Hero 6.
Mount Olympus – was revealed in Kingdom Hearts 3 E3 2015 Trailer. Although its official in-game name has not been revealed, it will likely be Mount Olympus seeing as the movie in which the world is based on is in fact Mount Olympus. Interestingly, Olympus Coliseum, a world appearing in all Kingdom Hearts games except KH3D, is based on the film, Hercules and isn’t apart of the film, but an entirely new world, Mount Olympus, was created that is apart of the film. Mount Olympus is based on Hercules.
Destiny Islands – is listed as a speculated world to be in Kingdom Hearts 3. It was shown in Kingdom Hearts 3 Announcement Trailer, but Nomura has mentioned that the scene doesn’t necessarily mean anything pertaining to what Kingdom Hearts 3 will actually consist of. It was primarily used to give the fans something tangible and outlines what Sora has yet to do.
