SQUARE ENIX® Unveils Patch 6.5 Details for FINAL FANTASY™ XIV Online – Endwalker™ Climax and Fall Guys Collaboration
LOS ANGELES, July 31, 2023 – The highly-anticipated “Growing Light” Patch 6.5 details for FINAL FANTASY™ XIV Online’s award-winning Endwalker™ expansion were revealed by SQUARE ENIX® during a special Letter from the Producer LIVE broadcast at the FINAL FANTASY XIV Fan Festival 2023 in Las Vegas.
Patch 6.5 Set for Early October 2023 Release
Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida announced that Patch 6.5’s main scenario will arrive in two parts. The first part, scheduled for Early October 2023, will continue the saga of the Warrior of Light.
Culmination of Duty Support System Expansion and Fall Guys Collaboration
Patch 6.5 will also witness the culmination of the Duty Support system expansion, allowing players to experience all main scenario dungeons solo, from A Realm Reborn™ to Endwalker. Furthermore, a thrilling collaboration with Fall Guys is on the horizon, introducing the “Warriors of Light Fame Pass” in Fall Guys on August 22, 2023, and a new Fall Guys-inspired Gold Saucer attraction in FINAL FANTASY XIV Online.
Patch 6.5x Series Features Unveiled
The Patch 6.5x series brings an array of exciting features, including new main scenario quests, dungeons, trials, alliance raids, job adjustments, and PvP updates.
Dawntrail Expansion Announced for Summer 2024
At the FINAL FANTASY XIV Fan Festival 2023 in Las Vegas, SQUARE ENIX® announced the upcoming expansion, FINAL FANTASY XIV: Dawntrail, which will include the game’s first graphical update and a wealth of new content. The release is scheduled for Summer 2024, offering an increased level cap, new jobs, areas, allied tribes, dungeons, and core battle content.
Final Fantasy XIV Free Trial Expanded
With over 27 million registered players, newcomers can embark on their adventures with the expanded Free Trial, encompassing content from A Realm Reborn™ and the Heavensward™ expansion, along with the addition of the Au Ra race and three playable jobs (Dark Knight, Astrologian, and Machinist).
