Final Fantasy XIV Online celebrates its fourth anniversary after its second expansion pack, Stormblood. The Final Fantasy XiV Online’s dev team will host a special 14-hour live stream through September 1-2 which includes the 38th installment of the ‘Letter’ from the Producer LIVE series, talk sessions with the dev team, special guests, and other in-game challenges. The upcoming Patch 4.1 and its content will make an appearance where Yasumi Matsuno (Final Fantasy XII and Final Fantasy Tactics) will join Naoki Yoshida, producer and director, to go over the 24-player alliance raid, Return to Ivalice. Matsuno’s role will be to write the scenario for the raid as a special guest creator.

From Final Fantasy XIV Online localization team, Koji Fox will be available at PAX West on September 2 from 1:00-2:00 PM PT, which he’ll be answering questions on lore and localization. The panel will also be live streamed on Twitch.
If you haven’t participated in the in-game events, “The Rising” seasonal event will be available from August 26 – September 14 and the Mega Mog Station Sale which discounts up to 30% on a number of items will also run throughout this time span.
