    did anybody else think that the weird laser barrage from Xemnas at the LAST fight was kinda pointless, sure the aftermath was a little epic but.... wtf?

    Yeah, it was a bit random. After two goes, I found out what I had to do but I have a suspicion that was put in there for a reason.

    Yeah, i also confused. It's not as challenging as Ansem's IMMAFIREMAHLAZAR!!! (lol)
    and Ansem's/ World Of Chaos desperation move: Summoning Disco ball that spread something and Explode.

    Every organization has a desperation move when there going to die, his was a laser barrage

    It was a way for him to try to kill you off since he was very low on energy,a desperation move as the others said.Almost every final boss has it,and many normal high level bosses have it.Some,like the hunts in FFXII,have a similar thing were they increase their defense dramatically or double their level in order to do that and do more damage,because faster,excetera.Its a video game thing

    i was just on that part earlier today. it was a bit pointless but you have to admit it was a fun challenge. having to press △ and X simultaneously.

    dont get me wrong, i liked it & the aftermath was EPIC..... but a desparation move results in either 2 things:
    1. you die & get super pissed that u came SO CLOSE only 2 die at the end.
    or
    2. you win & it was a waste of time......
    i dont even was 2 think bout the 1st choice :p
