Happy Valentines Day!

For me, Valentine's Day is tomorrow.

Although I do wonder why people make such a big deal about it. Actually, one of my friends doesn't like it. He says it's a holiday made up by Hallmark to sell more cards. Which I suppose that statement isn't 100% wrong.

But then again, I'm probably starting to sound like a stick in the mud or something about Valentine's Day, so I'll stop.

 

No, unlessyou have a date or in elementry school, it's basicly a holiday for Hallmark and jewlry stores and florists.

Never liked the holiday.Still dont.The fact that it is Friday the 13th makes it a little more bearable though.Well,happy valentines day for all its worth

And it wasn't just made up by hallmark, the Americans just emphasized a already current holiday for money, kinda like Christmas, easter and halloween

 

Exactly what Kupo said, it was always a holiday in the UK (I don't know about the rest of the world) it was named after St.Valentine. American companys such as Hallmark emphasised the whole thing,makig it bigger than it already was.

But anyway,I still love this day, even if it does force people to make romantic gestures. A relitive of mine is getting married today,"HOW ROMANTIC!" Yeah right,it just stops everybody else from doing something with their partners.

So,even though I have said all that, I still love this day (no pun intended) so happy valentines day guys!!!

 

Well, in my opinion, there is no Valentine's day. If you truly love someone, hen every day is a day of love. You shouldn't feel obliged to do something or buy someone something just cause the mass are doing it

Although, doing something small like writing someone a poem or making a card is worthwhile. It has personal worth, and some people like the idea.

 

But there is a valentines day, and its today. But yes you should love everyday,Valentines is just something extra. The day of LOOVVVEEEE.

 

Yeah, I know there is literally a Valentine's day. I was talking more along emotional lines. You shouldn't feel like you have to do something, or feel like you have to love someone more just for one day. That should be everyday

I laid around all day. So technically it's voted, valentine's day is a waste and we should celebrate more important days like President Day is Monday.

 

Well, I'm a little late but I like valentine's day... I was out with my friends and we had fun. ^^ Though I can do it whenever I want (almost..) but still.. and we had a special, nice, school day because of that day. =)

 

Yeah, well.. it was a fun day.. ^^ though it's just like the other days..
