And Anny, you have to give it time. Good things come to all who wait. Wait until that guy breaks up with the girl, he's out with. Then give it 2 weeks to a month for him to get over it and then ask him to the cinema. But while you're waiting, have more of a general chat with him. Ask him "Have you seen any good movies recently?" or "How's your day going?". Don't overdo it though.

Well he's 19 and the girl is 21. So it seems to be a serious relationship if they go along with it. He's had talks of running away with her, the "Lets run away together, forever" kind of thing.

 

Talk him out of that A.S.A.P. Those kinds of things never turn out right, and makes tensions in the family pretty high. It would be hard on her, since it would force her to choose between family or him. If he really cares for her, he won't force her to choose. Life's hard enough without decisions like that.
