Unfourtanetly, I don't. Asking god, eh hemm, Jesus into your life is not affected by what is happening in said life. All you must do is acknowledge that they are there, and that you can not live without them. What ever crap is happening to you will end up fixing itself, so don't worry about if your good enough for them. Their is only one real requirement for them. Being born, congrats.

This has turned into a debate on us. So could someone move this thing to the debates section?

I'm saying that in the bible, Jesus himself denounced the 10 Commandments. They are poof, no more. You don't need to follow those laws to make it into heaven. You just need to accept that Jesus is our savior.

 

If i had a bible i'd shove your face into the passage dude. I can't find mine now. I know he says it somewhere.

 

Well, if you're saying that he went with everything he said, that's not true. Remember, God had a policy of "an eye for an eye" however, Jesus said, "Love your enemy." So that statement is sort of false.

 

No he was not good sir. He aloud revenge of an individual until Jesus came in.

 

But that is an example of jealousy, not revenge.

 

God said that he would get revenge for his people but we are also suppose to love our enemies.

Let me explain.

As a christian our job is to try and show the love of God so that others will follow Christ and join us in heaven. We are suppose to share this love with everyone even our enemies.

However, when God said he would get revenge for his people, he meant when the end of time comes that all those who are not saved and have mocked God's people will be cast into the pits of hell forever.

Some may ask, "Why would such a loving God send people to hell?" The truth is that God has never sent one person to hell. People send themselves to hell. If people don't follow Jesus then God can do nothing to save them from going to hell once that person has died. Don't blame God for people going to hell, blame sin and the devil and people themselves.

 

No one has, because they're dead.

If we are being honest about this,here is what I believe: There is a God,he gave us free will,and unless we need help cause we are complety ruining everything,then he lets us do as we please.Jesus is his son,I guess would be the most appropriate term,and he helped keep us on track through his death.Satan is there,but I doubt he has a grudge with God or anything.Its been a Really long time,the guy is over it by now.I dont know what to think on Heaven,Hell,and all that,but it comes with time.And even then life is short.Best to make the best of it right now then screwing up your life.Thos who do crime and sin already feel bad no matter what people think,in some form or another.Dont need a Hell to go to to make me not sin.Or not badly.Humans have faults after all.
