what is final mix?

Final Mix is more updated Kingdom Hearts game, but limited and Asia only. The voice is english, but the text is japanese.

The things that makes Final Mix great is that you have more optional battles, more keyblade, a new form, more synthesis items, more mini games, secret cutscenes, more difficulities, and a secret ending

Such as Deep Dive in first one, and Birth By Sleep in the second one

The example of the optional battles is:
KHFM:
Xemnas

KH2FM+:
Absent Silhouettes
Data Organization XIII
Lingering Spirit/ An enemy wearing Terra's Armor and Keyblade (May not be Terra, but always being called Terra)

 

Remakes of Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2.
A few extra things like Boss Battles, Story, Heartless, Difficulties, Abilities, Keyblades and perhaps a few more other things.
Only have been released in Japan (at the moment, talks of US getting their hands on have been rumoured but I'm not too sure). But you can import it, but make sure your PS2 can play the same region code that Japan has so you can play it. You could also "chip" your PS2 so it can play it.

Kingdom Hearts 2= Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix+

 

Look at the ones in bold, weren't they already in KH, I'm sure they were, coz I've fought Kurt Zisa, phantom and Sephiroth.

 

No, they are optional boss in KHFM (i put that KHFM, not KH2FM+)

EDIT: Sorry, my fault. I was wrong.

 

Because in the Original Japanese KH, they did not have those four (including Ice Titan) optional bosses and so in the KHFM they were considered new as it was a Japanese release only. The English Release of KH had those four bosses.

Why do you need to not spoil for unknown battle? Its already been told at KH2 right?

 

Wait, how would you get the chip so you can play it on your PS2?

Before I close it, I'll answer your question though =]
Though I'm not pro with hacking and stuff so it'll be very brief >.<

If you know how to (install/chip you PS2), you can buy the hardware and then install it yourself.
You can order one (the hardware) online from somewhere, I'm sure they're around if you really look ^^
If you don't have the know how, there's always someone around who can do it for you ^^
