drug addiction

Consider someone who now has nicotine cravings from smoking tobacco smoke. Can you suggest an alternative for them?

Really depends on what purpose you're using and what kind of person you are. In my case, even that it's a stress-go-away for a while, I can't really care because don't take stress of life and don't really think anyway that you do.

Yes, my life reduces. I can't really mess up my life with family and friends, since many friends of mine use drugs and my relatives don't know, and if they would know it wouldn't touch so much them. =D And once more, can't get addicted to weed. I don't never feel like I would "have" to use it, and I smoke it rarely. And when I got sober, I didn't feel that much than you say.

And if I want to get my stress away, I have many ways. This is just one of them. ;>

 

i dont know how drug addicates feel, but only what i read is not good. so if I anger you, just so so, i'm not trying to take any offense

 

welll, in that case, why would you even choose to choose drug as an option when you already no that casue and damge in that could be dealt by it. if you know and still do it because of strees you are really dumb to get involved in it XD

Because I don't really care which option do I take at the moment. If I have a chance to use, I'll smoke it, or not. Really depends. Just as I said, it's just one of the ways to get relaxed. And I really can't run into trouble with it since don't have the need to smoke it always and as I said, I really don't have anything to sress aboutg in my life. Not like all the teen-angsters (yeah, angsters, ot agers).

And oh, can't say that wha you're saying is offending, if compared to finnish debates, and the people who make rather angry comments, you're really nothing compared to them.

 

well, to make a little comeback, why chance it. your smart, you know it would mess you up one time, kill you even, and if your already sick or have some kinda disease, it would be even worse, just to be relaxed, if you want to be relaxed than go to a spa or something, do something relaxing without hurting yourself. Like the dude with the luffy sig said, it's really dumb. no matter what it is, even if you mom died, you shouldn't do drugs, or smoke or anything, cause then you wont be able to do everything you want to do, they have drugs test for some jobs, they find weed in you or any hint of drugs, you wont get that job, you can't go do things with you friends cause you might want to smoke, and they don't. I'm not talking about you anymore nose cap, I'm just saying in general.

I use and thats that. No more about it, but one thing left to say. Drugs are like sweets. If you eat some of them, you'll get a good taste, but sometimes you want even more (pointing to the needles and stuff, that I haven't tried thought). If you eat too much, you feel worse and sick.

But no more mumbling about my using of drugs, I've pointed that I use and let's cut that off from the topic.

 

good, point, we should talk about why people will get addicted to drugs. Like heron, once you get hooked to that it's over, i don't know much about heron and what it does but i know it's as bad as crack o something like that.

what is that drug that you don't get addicated to, there was one, is't not weed, but something diffrent.

 

I'm not really sure but from what some people have told me... A few hallucinogens like LSD or ecstasy is not addictive. If it's there one may take it, depending on their mood I guess.

And you also have things like your flunitrazepam (aka roofies), which is used to spike drinks and take someone home while they are under the influence. I'm sure no one (or at least most people) would like that and I don't think it's addictive either =\
Scary stuff out there.

 

would the h@#$ made drugs any ways, it was so dumb, now people die trying to get off, or trying to get some, or just by selling some. it's so wrong.

What about standard everyday drugs? Aspirin for example, It's a drug.
Or these Clarithromycin Tablets I took a few weeks back for my bronchitis?

But drugs have been used way back as well. Vikings back in their for example, they ate this mushroom which gave them some sort of berserked high for upcoming battles.

Even Morphine? Prescribed of course, it becomes legal for patients in Hospitals.
Morphine is similar to heroin and is addictive just like heroin is.
Marijuana, same story, prescribed for Cancer Patients as a pain killer but not addictive.

Experimenting, peer pressure, to be "cool". Many reasons.
Main concern is lack of knowledge.
True story where I am; A group of 14 y.o's are at school. One of them flogs a canister of Ritalin (it's used on children with ADHD<sp?> to calm them down) and shows his friends. They all say cool, you have drugs, you're such a bad ass and they all take a number of tablets and then wind up in Hospital for a case of Over Dose.
I laughed at this because it was Ritalin. Why would they do that? Just a bunch of kids with a lack of knowledge.
Oh, and they made it out alive if anyone is concerned.
