Gansta life or educationa life?

What do you mean by gangsta? Living in the streets and shooting people for fun? I hope not.

 

smart life is the best, you dont have to live in the gettoe, and you dont get shot at that much.

 

This is stupid. I mean really, it's no question. An educational life is best. Who would choose to live like a gangsta?

 

trust me, you would be surprised by how many people would want to live the "gangsta" life

I lived in a apartment (I think the area that I lived in Gary, Indiana became a project now) when I was little & those kids never stop jumping on me at all! THEY ALL "WE WANT TO F*** YOU UP BLACK! I can't believe it myself!

Still, I would rather go educational all the way. I'm living a great life & not once did I think about living a gangsta life. I WANT TO GO TO COLLEGE & FULFILL COMPLETING WHAT I WANT TO DO IN LIFE!

 

You really think that those who don't have all the luxuries you do are going for that to early grave? No, they're quite survivors, I have to say. And for what I mentioned above, what are you meaning like gansgta live, not all the poor people who live in the streets kill innocent people and so on. It's just an image in our heads because we really can't say what's it out there since we all have even fairly good lives.

And you really think that if you live in apartment that in that neighbourhood are the "gangstas"? Sorry to tell you but it's not like that.

You think that anybody thinks it like that when living in streets? They had no chances to have an education and I don't think that there are many people who would shout something like that.

I think that the "gangstas" you're talking about would like the same educational life and all the benefits that you have. :'D Far as I seem to see, your post was nothing but gibberish and shouting how "smart" you are and how good life you have.

 

he's right SB. not everyone who has to live around that wants to live the gangsta life. most of them want to get out and actually do something good with their lives. go to college. become whatever they want to become

 

This is why I said no one chooses to live a gangsta life. I hope i'm right when I say that most of the time they are either born into it or are forced into gangsta life. For those people we need to help them get out of that life.

Anyways Nosecap, I understand what you mean, but at places that I've lived at & kids that I saw, some kids do be saying that. -_- Not only that, just because you lived in the ghetto doesn't mean that you have to live a gansta life. Not oly that, I'm not talking about luxuries. I mean trying to live a good life without going around hurting people & taking away innocent's lives & stuff like that & actually tries to do better. I didn't even say anytihg about the poor people. Now that you've brought that up, poor people may have suffered through some things & are trying to live a educational life, but don't have the necessary requirements to have what they want.

Even if the people who lived a gansta life want the same benefits & the life that other people wanted, why they just can't just restart school or get some help? That's better than robbing someone & have up to 10 years in prison.

 

Neither term is well-defined. Nothing says you can't be a thug and not live the educated life.

Here, let me tell you something -
If you choose to live a gangsta lifestyle, all you're going to do is push you further into a racial stereotype, isolate yourself from your family and friends, be forced to make choices that you aren't ready for yet, and distance yourself further from getting a decent education.

There isn't anything right, GANGSTA or glamorous about acting retarded and not showing the world that you're actually intelligent. It just shows that you're walking out on your future by taking the easy way out and not taking responsibility in actually being an adult, or growing up to become one.

Most of all, it shows that you're lazy.
People look down on that. Then with the recession all over the world, you need to be in the work place and build some respectable reputation to your name instead of hanging out in the streets, acting like a dumb ass.

Then on top of that,
it'll show that you're actually a man, rather than a boy if you stay in school, get an education, and pursue your dreams though a career.

Rather live a lazy life though, don't care what people say about me. I'm much happier when I'm laying under a tree with my iPod and a blank canvas whilst my friends are in a basic school (maths, science, english and art is all the school does at college level (the year i dropped out after trying a year of it))

 

what kinda topic is this, seriously ridiculous one if you ask me? No one chooses to have a Gangster life, its a hard world, just because one is born in the life doesn't mean he chose to be here. If anything more teenage kids don't choose, but are forced to live the life as a gangster, for various reason, not because its fun to go shoot people, or its fun to sell coke or weed, Its because they have to to survive, Some kids could have no father and their mother is trying her hardest to support her kids, but she can't do it all alone, their is no food in the house, so as a teenage kid(mostly boys) they don't want to see their mother struggle, so they go out and do what they think, is right, but they know its wrong(sell drugs, prostitute,etc).

I personally know a family that was stuck in the type of enviornment, where the mother was a dope fiend, this mother had 4 children, didn't feed em, didn't buy them anything, just snored coke and did crack, the oldest brother, decided to help his siblings and sell dope and weed, etc, he stole he did whatever he could to help his siblings. Gradually it started getting worse, to make a long story short, blah blah blah happened, but now they are all taken away from their mother and live in a nice home.

the term "ghetto" is used so loosely by kids not raced in these type of environment its ridiculous.

In other words, about 80-90% of people would choose the educational life, but for the other 10-20% love the thrill of this gangster life
