I really hope no one says anything negative about another member just because of their religion or faith in this thread. If you are one of them, don't even look/touch/post at/in this thread =]
So anyway, which Religion/s or Faith/s do you follow?
Be they Christian, Jew, or... Miscellaneous.
(inside joke, anybody get it? =D)

I myself (am supposed to) follow the Islamic Muslim way, though am pretty bad at that (hell yes, I'm one of the fun ones! =]). Just bad with religion in general =P

I'm an atheist but I really agree and find the teaching of Satanism to be very true and even slightly appealing. Nothing to do with worshipping Satan, it basically says you are your own God/person, "Do unto others as they do unto you" kind of thing. Basically kind of relative to Misanthropy kind of, like man is an animal and stuff. And belief in vengeance rather than turning the other cheek. It pretty much says be responsible for yourself and help others if they deserve it. I'm pretty pessimistic by nature and I don't rwally have a great view of people. Nihilism would also tie in (not a religion)(belief that morals aren't based on instinct)

    GrandShadow I accept your challange.

I do be an agnostic theist. To clarify agnosticism is a way of thinking, the religion part is that I'm a theist. Though I don't conform to any one religion, I do dabble in a few. At the moment I'm looking at Zen Buddhism.

I'm the same way Haresuno. I find that being agnostic is better suited for me than other religions

I guess I'm kind of biased since I have a hatred of religion (Christianity, more so). I can't explain in, it's very personal, but I just hate religion/don't see a point in it. I randomly was looking at Satanism one day and thought the teachings agreed with who I was etc, but I still would never conform to one. Not that I don't have faith, there's a huge number of reasons why religion is bs

Like I said before, I have no problem with religious people, each their own imo. I just don't like when it's shoved in my face or when people take it to such a level that it's completely laughable

Similar here, being forced into christianity at birth basically and being brought up with its stupid teachings made me hate it, it got worse when I started asking questions which people never knew the answer to and died when I started to think for myself

agreed, people can believe what they want. As long as they leave me alone.

I would be somewhat biased against it. Perhaps because I was growing up with it and it always had restricted me to do things that I'd prefer to do when I was younger. I get lectured everyday about how bad things in life are, where are the good points? Ever since I've dropped (or at least lessened... a lot) my religious ways, everything seems to be a lot better for me. I do things that I want to do and with no conscious saying that it's wrong (obviously I won't go to extremes, just general stuff like drinking).

I've had many people trying to push religion on me, and I find it very offensive. This also influences me to dislike religion/s. They tell me as if I don't have a choice, "Take up our religion or DIE" kind of thing. But in a more civilised way, I'm sure no one really likes that in their faces. It's pretty much coercion to the gullible/believers in my opinion.

<.> I don't know why you put my name in that tag link Rawr. Anyways, all of you know that I'm a christian, but I really want to say something to WaytotheDawn.

First off, I never from my first stay on here to now that I ever shoved my belief into anyone's face. I never do say "IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW GOD, YOU SHALL BE DAMNED & (In a deep voice.) YOU'RE GOING TO HELL!!!" but you should not have more of a strong hatred against christianity. Don't you know that there are christians like me who don't shove the bible up in your face & want to make you stronger, not to make you be offended & take us the wrong way. Not only that, don't you know that there are "fakes" who goes around the world saying that they're christians when they're actually is just trying to lure you & trying to strike once they have the chance. I don't know what was personal that you don't want to talk about that made you want to hate christainity, but whatever religion flows your boat, I'll still respect you as a human being regardless.

Also Pulse, I don't know what you mean by being forced into christianity by birth, but it's up to you if you want to accept Christ into your heart or not. It's up to you if you want to be saved or want to dabble in a different religion. What may sound stupid to you Pulse in the bible might actually be helpful in your life without you even knowing it. If you ask the people in the church questions that they don't even know the answer to,just don't get steamed up about that. There are those who're more wise in God's power who might give you the answer. Anyways, that's all I have to say & that I'm a christian who loves God very much & will still respect & love those of other religions.

I didn't accuse you of shoving your belief in my face, did I? I just said I don't like it when it is

You never said I would go to hell, but that's how religion was preached long ago, and probably still is. Like rawr said, it was like you either choose religion or your gonna burn in hell blah blah. It's all based on fear, and as humans we just lead onto it, people were afraid years ago to speak out and ask questions. Now we have TV

And Brandon, I'm not saying all religion and people are like that, but relgion is/was preached like that by some people

Of course I know there are christians like you who are nice people (hey, I don't know you, but you seem fine to me :) )

If you read my post you'll see this. Here, lemme quote it

I said I had no problem with religious people, unless they try and shove it in my face or something

Just a simple inside joke sir. You're the coolest religious guy I know. No BS from me here. I've grown up with so much religion forced upon me. Pretty much every religious person I come across shows a strong hint of making me join.

Nobody ever mentioned names in this thread (except for your name in the tag. I think it's rather complimenting for you). Perhaps settling down first and reading through everything before jumping to conclusions would be good.
Read my very first post in this thread, which is why I bolded the "I"
So far it's been that way.

This is not a debate thread, just a simple what thought/faith/religion do you follow question. Input you answer, perhaps describe why and happily be on your way. No need to tell others that they may be incorrect.
I'll say no more about that and am only curious to see how many different people we have on this site and perhaps different thoughts.

O.O Do Jehovah Witnesses go around & knock on doors 24/7? XD THat what I was told in church anyways. I forgot what Jehovah Witnesses do or what they base their religion on because I don't dabble in that area. I don't find this a debate anyways Rawr & still don't want no debating, so you have nothing to worry from me. (-_- Ok, you might want to worry about Yukou a.k.a Morphine.)

What does that mean? Do you have something against me? If you do, say it. This thread is about religion and what faith you follow.

I follow Buddhism which comes from Hinduism.

In Buddhism we only have the Buddha. He is not consider as a God, well is some culture he is, but he is consider as a messenger. He pray with him and he give our prayer to the higher Gods. We have many Gods. From the God of Destruction to the God of Life and those Gods came from Hinduism.

In my religion we are taught to not and try to convert people or say harsh words about their religion and give them harsh statements.

So quite frankly, I don't care about other religions. Don't get me wrong, I respect other religions. I even read the Bible from time to time, just to get a better understanding of God, because, ironic as it sounds, I do believe that there is a God out there and Jesus.

But I stick to my religion. My religion do not require to meet every Sunday nor go out and try to get people to convert. When we do have a get together, it is BIG, when I say Big, means a couple of thousand people fled to the temples. And our donations are quite generous. Money for the monks and money for the temple, and it not just your simple dollar coins or coins. It is big bucks. We usually have a celebration lasting three days and two nights. Friday night, Saturday Morning, Saturday Night, and Sunday Morning.

We pray for hours and we offer food to our love ones and the monks and Buddha. We lit incense that last for hours.

And after all and said, we just dance.
