I agree with him. Seriously, why give somebody a sig, when that person can just ask for one anyway, it's not a gift it's a joke.

 

It doesn't have to be a sig. It could be like a game. We are on a forum so why not just make believe?

 

A game? What? Do you mean people are actually supposed to shell out money and then send a game to somebody else? Plus, I'm not too keen on sharing out my address via the internet.

 

Hmm, I mean why not just give a pretend gift to someone. It could be fun or fun to laugh at. Thats all I'm saying.

Only if we had the site shop working i guess, what else could someone over a gift apart from tags. But you would have to have made them originally.

Agreed, Zerieth, agreed. Honestly, though, why do people just put something down so that it probably would go down like they thought, instead of standing by and seeing if what they thought could happen WITHOUT their influence?

 

It's because I look at the amount of activity, how many people would actually participate, how lazy people would end up being, and so on.

It works in reality when you physically have to go out and buy something or make something by hand. That's what my club's doing at school.

In that sense, there's a difference. On forums that don't circulate on creating anything or when people don't have strong enough connections with people to the point where they're willing to send something to someone x factors of money...is also a bit of evidence.
