May we have another battle? I gave up on the 2 vs 1 battle 2 weeks ago. Don't know who is going up & who's not going up & the rp arena was losing activity.

I believe that it is Riona's turn to fight Inida, if I do say so. Might I suggest a jungle-gym?

Sure. I'm game. Whenever your ready once the field is set up.

Ya we seem to be losing a lot of that. I hate to say it, but the arena is dieing out. Everyone saw something else that was shiny.

Well, we have some new members that be popping up so I guess I can have Moog help me teach them how to roleplay if they are interested.

Roleplaying really isn't taught, in my opinion. It just kind of gets picked up along the way. That's how it worked with me.

Oh, and my battle post has been put up as an edit onto my last post in Beta.

If I were the one to tutor them, there'd be bad Sh*t going down. Somebody else do it. . . I mean, I can handle those that only have just started, but with the ones who are completely new, I will go crazy.

This match died because everybody was confuzzled, methinks.

Well zhy, we can show them a few things they should not do, but you are right. Rping isn't taught. You have to practice for it. Also, if Zhy wants to, he can judge moogle and summoner. He said a while ago he wanted to show me an example on how a fight should be judged.

Well, can you set up an arena so we CAN fight? Just throw somethiong out there. Not anything that is wide open like an airfield (benefitting Inida), but not somewhere close quaters like a jungle gym (Benefits Riona)

It doesn't matter about what benefits a character. Benefits can become your downfall in some ways.

Summoner, Riona's Sonic Bullet ability aren't really material. They are condensed 'packets' of sound that explode and screech loudly upon hitting the target.

I didn't know. My bad. I had changed it around.

Zerieth, exactly how far can that blade of Ben's reach? There's probably between 70 and 80 feet (possibly more) of distance between Lance/Kuan and Ben, and I really don't see how a blade can reach that far. Mind you, I'm extrapolating this information based on previous posts.

. . . . You can't scan somebody if you can't see them. It's just plain illogical. And before somebody suggests that Inida can, the post said "In a closet in a building"

Closets in buildings in the middle of cities do not normally have the best views.

And Zhy, if you're going to judge, JUDGE!

Get back on track Zhy, and his blade is able to stretch pretty far. You never said how far away you are, but it is made of a substance that can stretch up to a football field.

I used scan to have her use the data that she first gathered from Riona the first time, not to scan her again from the inside of the building. I messed up on that. I'll change it around.

I am well on track here man. These are the things that are supposed to be covered in the character sheets. It goes back to something I said about defining mechanics. When you don't mention the mechanics of a weapon, or a power in the profile, or in your IC posts, one can only be left to assume that you're just extending it arbitrarily.

Also, you never stated how far away Ben was either. Therefore, I've been extrapolating, and visualizing. The battle as I've determined it started with Kuan and Ben roughly fifty feet from each other (and fifty feet is actually a lot larger a gap than you might think. Since the start, Ben has remained in his spot, and Kuan has switched his soul into a body, which was standing at some distance away (we'll say thirty feet to the side, and maybe ten feet back.) In any case, Kuan has moved away from Ben in that instance. And then he ran away from Ben. Given that Lance is a man in superb physical condition, he would have been able to make it at least twenty feet away before the blade reached him. Just to place things in order spatially.

Also, in regards to Ben's last dialogue, he will also have to run short of energy as well.

And I will judge when I feel that I have enough to base my decision off of.

    EDIT:
Current assessment of Arena Alpha has been posted.

    Also, Happy Festivus!

Meh, as some could tell, she was going to Sonic scream out at Inida next round anyways. I suggest we have character classes, not unlike wrestling. Such as Lightweight (Tend to not have as much power and whatnot. Professionals and newbs alike.), middleweight (I'd say my Kilet is much more of a middle), Heavyweight (very strong characters), and special (Z's judge, for instance). Or, we just do this L-class, M-class, H-class, and S-class.

Edit: Granted, what I did was god-modding in itself. I said that her grip worked without fail. But, if I didn't, then other characters would abuse the leeway (I.E. I say "XXX throws it at YYY" and then player Z says, "YYY dodges completely", as opposed to "XXX hits YYY with throwing object"). I learned to give that leeway a long time ago in a mega-RP, and was yelled out at the GM. I never tried to make that mistake again.
