Leonardo stumbled out of the alleyway and fell on the floor. He felt the bump of his arms hitting the warm stone floor and got back up. Other players looked at him as if he was crazy. "I need to log out and leave 'The World' now! I need to know if the others are okay...I really hope nothing bad has happened..."

 

Alkaid stood her ground as Sion attack hit her. "Nice try! But I am an arena ex-champ!" She lunged at him spining slightly before she struck a blow. I must rember to take it easy on the guy?She told herself.

 

Admin Adept Rogue lvl 9 (1/3 xp)

"How do you know which one is the right one?" Salvatore asked as he crept closer to the array of chests. His body was ready to move, ready to act, encase something happened to Gerik.

Swallowing back the lump in his throat he watched in silence as the desert designed adept rogue worked his way through the yellow chest. "Well, however you're doing it, I'm happy that neither of us have been hurt - with the exception of that incident back in the other room. Anyways this just goes to show that we make a good team. Wouldn't you say?"

 

Epitaph User Tarvos: Twin Blade Level 22 1/3 XP

Leonardo walked towards the revolving Chaos Gate and stopped at it and looked at the shining gold that reflected from the sun's rays of Mac Anu. It felt warm to him and that was the real problem, he wasn't supposed to feel anything while playing "The World." He looked down and back at the still bustling Root Town and saw players that passed by watching him as if he was crazy.

"Maybe when I log out everything will make sense when I talk to Kamau and Heather about it." He stepped forward and looked up to th sky in front of the Chaos Gate and closed his eyes, logging out. As his eyes kept him in his own darkness he opened his eyes to see inverted game characters in front of him. Things warped before him and the same ear-piercing scream ringed within his ears and he slammed his hands on his ears and cried out, eyes closing again.

When he opened them he was back in front of the Chaos Gate breathing heavily. He stared at the ground and tears began to fall on the stone floor. "I can't . . . I can't get out . . . why?"

 

"Blackness..... all I see is blackness." These were the words that Kira spoke as he sank into the deep darkness of his mind. "I don't have anything to live for." "Nothing at all." He then started closing eyes as he said "Nothing.... at all." Then all of a sudden he heard a voice that peirced the darkness. "Are you sure?" "Nothing at all?" He then slowly opened his eyes and was shocked of what he saw before him. "WHy are you here?" The man smiled and said Its because..... I'm you." The being in front of him was none other than Blue Wraith.

 

ADEPT ROUGE LVL 12(1/3XP)

Zan woke up, he had been sleeping, it was night in Mac Aun, he got up and walked to a open shop, with his new money he bought a brand new sword, just for his level and power, it was nice too. He looked at his new blade, soon he would get a another and be a blade brandier. As he walked out he logged out as well, he was to tried to keep going on. In his room it was morning, he looked at the day on his clock, it was monday, and only a 2 hours till school started, he had to go.

"Yep." Gerik smiled. "And with these chests, I'm guessing the order goes with the wavelengths of light. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet all add up to white. So If the next chest is the next color in that order, then that is the solution to the puzzle."

 

Alkaid smiliedYeah you talk big and show off but can you hold your own against me!?" she said as used a speed charm. "Now lets see if you can block all my attackes!" She ran at Sion swinging her swords and moving around to try and hit all the vital spots. Gotta rember to not to use my full force on this guy

(trying to get this RP moving again)

Karite was walking around Mac Anu after he had logged off from before. As he was walking around he noticed a few strange characters. Zeke was cut down now. All these reports of weird glitches that I'm betting are those AIDA things, and strange assaisins PKing powerful players. And then this Epitaph business I've been forced into. Something is happening, and to drop my guard now would likely be the last mistake I'd ever make here. As Karite thought about everything he happend to bump into someone on acident. "Sorry." He mumbled as he got up. He turned to help the person to see it was a girl in a witch outfit of black and red.
"Not a problem." she said in a cheery voice, "My name's Sukiko. What's yours?"

 

Admin Adept Rogue lvl 9 (2/3 xp)

"Huh..." Salvatore let the sound of surprise linger in the air as he stepped over to the green chest and kneeled next to it. "So, green is after yellow." Turning his head so that he could watch Gerik open the yellow chest, the gothic adept rogue waited for his friend to give him the subtle nod.

With his attention right back on the green ornate chest, Hibari could feel his pulse quicken. By opening this chest he would be taking another step towards strength. He wouldn't be a lowly single job adept rogue, but instead a two tier! He would be able to fight on a whole new level! And Gerik would be there to help.

Unlatching the chest, Salvatore waited in expectation. A feeling that slowly slide away when nothing happened. "Three down, one to go."

 

"Why are you really here?" As he asked his question, Blue Wraith smiled as he let out a michievious laugh. "Hehehe." "Like I told you." "I'm here because I'm you." "Thats why." He then let out another laugh as Kira struggled to get up. "Why don't you leave?" Blue Wraith just kept smiling and said "Because I don't want to." "Thats why." Kira kept getting madder at him. "Why don't you get serious for once?!" At that moment, Blue's Wraith smile went away as he said "Its because I'm laughing at the idea that I have the power to help you, Kira."

 

Alkaid saw that Sion had switched weapons and was about to taunt him when she recieved an IM. Damnit all I have to end this soon exchange information and log out of here and go! "Here take this!" she said as she threw Sion a health potion. "Now tell me what you know about AIDA and please hurry I kinda uh need to be somewhere realy soon." Alkaid hated to go to 'that' place but so long as he was there she had to.

 

Level Up. Adept Rouge Level 9 0/3

Gerik kicked open the final chest. Inside it was an item. "I guess this is what we were here for. Let's go back to the Quest Shop and finally finish this."

Once back at the Chaos Gate in Mac Anu, Gerik and Salvatore walked across the bridge to the Quest Shop. The NPC that gave them the quest walked up to them. "Oh, I see you have returned." It spoke. "You must've shown great strength in accomplishing such a feat. As a reward, I will grant you my strength."

Both Gerik's and Salvatore's PCs underwent a Job Extension. Gerik's PC looked the same, except he had more armor on his arms, and his cloak wasn't torn up. And Gerik gained the ability to use Dual Swords.

 

Level 19 3/3 Level up! Now level 20!

"Karite." He said as he offered his hand to help her up. She grabbed it and pulled herself up. Once she did she began looking around. Finally she turned back to Karite.
"Say, Karite, have you happened to see anybody around here that happens to look something like me?" Karite shook his head no. "Would you be okay with starting a party with me and helping me search?" Karite thought it over for a moment in his head.
She looks strange but then again some could say the same for me. To each there own. And why is she looking for this person? Who is this person? I should probably ask before argeeing to anything. Karite looked up at her and asked. "Whose is this person we'd be searching for?"
She smiled and replied, "My brother. We got in a fight with this real powerful user and got seperated." (referencing merlin's fight)
Powerful user? Perhaps she got attacked by those PKers Nero mentioned. With that thought in his mind, his decision was made. "Let's go find him." He said with a slight, reassuring smile.

 

Admin Adept Rogue lvl 9 (3/3 xp)

While Gerik's character didn't appear to change much, Salvatore's PC had some new modifications. As if to compliment his choice as a Steam Gunner, his outfit was reworked to look like a clash of western cowboy and eastern knight. Turquoise colored metal covered his shins as they ran down his leg and into his open leather boots. A cape, the same shade as his leg protectors, clasped loosely over his shoulders by metal chains.

The tattered and frayed edges gave the new Salvatore a almost wild look. And yet, seemingly meant to counter the rough and tough look, Salvatore now wore a hard leather chest piece. On top of that was short cyan tabard with golden fringes.

An ornate looking belt rested over his hips with small pouches running around it's entire length. The decorative belt buckle glinted in the light of Mac Anu. Taking a closer look, Hibari noticed that the same design was worked into the brim of his character's new hat.

Salvatore's long black hair was pulled back into a ponytail as he let the had slide off his head and hand over his back by the drawstrings. A soft, "Wow," left his lips as he stared wide-eyed at the new form.

Shifting through his items Salvatore found he new weapon - a bayoneted gun titled Morning Glory. Light enveloped his hand as he summoned the rifle. The stock was as long as one of his arms, and the barrel topped that easily. A razor sharp bayonet protruded out from under the barrel in a sinister manner.

Oh yeah, Hibari thought from behind his M2D goggles, this just screams deadly.

Shifting his eyes to Gerik, Salvatore held out the gun. Proudly displaying his new upgrade, "What do you think?"

 

Kira eyes widened at what Blue Wraith said. "You have the power?" Blue Wraith smiled and said "Yes, I do." "I'm willing to give you that power on one conditon." Kira looked at him and said "What is it?" Blue kept smiling and got close to his Kira's face. He then went to his right ear and whipsered into it. "I want you to use my power to kill the man that mugger your father's character." That is when Kira's face went into shock. "What?" Blue then took his face away from his ear and said "Thats right." "I want you to kill him." "So, what will it be?" Kira sat there for a while thinking about the proposal. After a few minutes, Kira's emotionless looked at Blue Wraith told him his decision. "Fine." "I will do it." Then at that moment, Blue Wraith started laughing manically in the world of Darkness within Kira's mind. "Good Boy!" "I"m so proud of you for making the right decision." He then grabbed Kira and stood him up. That is when his hand turned into lance like weapon and stabbed Kira. "Now accept it!" That is when a blast of dark red energy surrounded them as the a white flash of light surrounded everything. After a few minutes, regular Wraith layed on the ground outside Mac Anu, now with a new power.
