He does something in the mansion that causes a secret passage to open into Ansems Study.

What does he use to open it?

 

are we talking about with roxas? or with sora in hollow bastion?)

 

are we taling roxas or sora.?

 

I'm guessing Roxas because I don't recall Sora doing anything to find Ansem's Study.

And case in point with Roxas, all I can remember is that he threw a hissy fit and attacked DiZ's computer with the keyblade. And then a door opened, Roxas and Axel fought, and then you take control of Sora for the remainder of the game.

if its for Roxas, he doesnt do either. theres a statue with its head facing the ground as a hint to the computer room, but he doesnt do anything to it. he instead completes a symbol on the table

 

Gotta repeat it: Roxas uses namine's sketchbook to see the symbol which he needs to draw at the table to reveal the secret passage...
