So i just thought as I started listening You're Only Second Rate From Aladdin II in my mother language, and I thought that wow, I haven't heard this is loooong time.

So Disney is part of many kids youth, like mine. As known, Disney included songs in it's movies, and I bet that almost we all have favorites. Notice that when you post, just describe something why it's so good.

YouTube - Return of Jafar - You're only second rate (FINNISH)

I remember dancing to this when I was about 5 years old. 8D The song is so catchy that I would like to sing this just everywhere, and the Finnish voice actors are just talented, and especially Jarkko Rantanen, who voice-acts over Jafar, is just incredible.

YouTube - hercules - go the distance

Why I posted the original (pfft, not movie score but anyways) one over the Finnish one? I just simply think that it's more full of feelings than the Finnish one. I didn't care for the song when I was a kid, but when I found this few years back when I had troublesome times with my feelings, this just blew my mind. It's beautiful and touching song.

okay, the next one isn't anything like touching, more like VERY ODD selection.

YouTube - Dumbo - Pink Elephants on Parade

I remember that I feared the song when I was little, so I usually hided behind the couch when this scene came to the screen. But as I found this not just few months back, this is just like DSL stuff. I fell in love with the song for reason unknown.

YouTube - Beware of heffalumps and woozles!

I have to say the same thing as the previous one - only replacing that DSL to nightmare stuff. Masterpiece, ya.

    Guys?

Disney has awesome music. Some of my favorites would be...

YouTube- Part of Your World (The Little Mermaid)
I used to love this movie, and I'd sing this song all the time. I wanted to be a mermaid like Ariel when I was a little kid. XD

YouTube- I Just Can't Wait To Be King (The Lion King)
One of my favorite Disney movies. This song was probably the catchiest from that movie for me as a kid, honors to Hakuna Matata.

    YouTube-Be Prepared (The Lion King)
Scar was a great villain. This song is fricken awesome.

I know there are a lot more that I like, but these'll do for right now. ^_^

Both of the Pooh songs you linked used to frighten me, too. But the two songs that really terrified me were:

YouTube- Hellfire (The Hunchback of Notre Dame) and YouTube- Night on Bald Mountain (Fantasia)

Seriously, is there anyone who wasn't scared of Chernabog? I think Fantasia freaked out everyone.

    YouTube - Hakuna Matata(English)
    Hakuta Makata- Lion King

Great movie, by far one of my favorite, and this song is so fun to sing especially on band trips (don't ask, lol)

YouTube - Can you feel the love tonight (720p HQ HD) - Lion King + Lyrics + Subtitle

Can You Feel the Love Tonight- Lion King

The song we had to play at homecoming for crowning the homecomming queen. IT's also a good song, if I had to sing a solo in front of a crowd, I'd probably sing this

YouTube - yo ho yo ho a pirates life for me

Yo Ho Yo Ho a Pirates Life for Me, you should be able to guess what movie

If it counts, it was sung in the movie while Jack was drunk

    YouTube - This Is Halloween

This is Halloween- Nightmare Before Christmas

Darn good movie with a upbeat songs, definately the best in the movie

I'm totally forgetting about anymore disney songs.

I never really loved Hunchback, not like a lot of the other Disney movies, but looking back now, this song is truly epic. What I love about Frollo is that he's so human- and this song really shows that. And listening to it now, it's kinda like "Whoa", because so much of the meaning went over my head as a kid, which is probably a good thing, given what it's actually about.

I used to have the soundtrack on cassette, lol. This song is really catchy.

    Ooh, thought of another:

YouTube- I'll Make a Man Out of You (Mulan)
Another awesome song. Shang was one cool dude. XD

Well that's what happens with Disney movies typically. Rewatching them now and I can't believe how many references just go over children's heads.

And Yeah Hunchback wasn't one of my favorites (I never really even liked it much) but I always thought that Hellfire was just an epic song.

I have to say too that Hunchback never really wasn't one that I could count as my favorites, but the Hellfire song is epic.

Toph and Mike, ever heard the song Out There from the same movie? I always love the part in the beginning where Frollo sings and manipulates Quasimodo. Just so epic.

The Nightmare Before Christmas was one of my favorites for like ever and a year. I liked the remake of some of the songs except 'Sallys Song' Fiona Apple failed badly at keeping the mood of that scene.
    YouTube - Sally's Song

This song is from the same movie but a different creator. I think this song is pretty cool too.
YouTube - TNBC - This is Halloween (Marilyn Manson Version)

I got pulled into singing this one for a Variety Show once (which I won by the way ;D) and it was really fun. I've pretty much loved the song since then.
    YouTube - Hercules - I Won't Say I'm In Love (English)

Face it is there anyone who DOESNT like this song lol.
YouTube - Mulan - i'll make a man out of you

I have this one on my Zune and I think for a while(if its not still) its been on my top played list by the original people but I cant find a good version of it. Anyway its from Pocahontas.
YouTube - Tiffany Thornton - If I Never Knew You (Lyrics on the screen)

The Little Mermaid was my absolute favorite movie when I was little which is weird because Faith and I were talking a couple months ago and we realized she had never watched it. It was one of the posessions we lost in a tragic water-related accident that happened in my town before she was old enough to actually watch movies and know whats going on. So I bought it for her and we watched it lol. Funny how I still love the movie particularly this song.
YouTube - kiss the girl Little Mermaid

I had to watch it to be able to remember it, but I would agree that the beginning of that song is pretty cool. Also cool are the Disney cameos you can see in the animation- Belle from Beauty & the Beast, the carpet from Aladdin, and some others.

I agree with this. Hercules tends to get a bad rap, and I forget that it had some great songs in it, including this one.
