Kingdom Hearts Ultima (remake)

The boys were quick set Destiny onto the sleeping bag to use it as a makeshift stretcher. They proceeded to carry her out of the cave - to which Halla noted that the boys were much stronger than their sizes would suggest. They hastened their pace to the boats, Johnny was already prepared to paddle out to the main island.

After placing her steady into the small canoe, Halla came forth to set one of her shirts under Destiny's head to hold the blood back. "Please get there as fast you can, Johnny." Halla implored to the young man.

 

Hikaru sat upon the sandy shore of the main island, a soft breeze passing by, as he watched the ocean waves going back and forth.
Kaoru soon approached from behind, sitting next to him, and looked at his twin
"Out here again Hikaru? This is the third time in a row! Your never out here" Curious, Kaoru gave him a slightly odd stare, with a small smile on his face
"I know...It's just...your going to think I'm crazy but I just...have this feeling that something is going to happen over there." Hikaru's voice spoke softly, a concerned expression, as the sound of the crashing waves somewhat relaxed him

"A feeling, eh? Hmm...then we'll have to go back to the islands tomorrow morning and check up on them, to see if they'e okay. If you have had this feeling for a while I'm going to trust it. You going to come inside soon?" Kaoru quickly jumped up as he gazed at the faraway islands, remembering fond memories, and then back at Hikaru

"I think I'll stay here a bit longer...something's going to happen, I just now it..." Hikaru slowly shook his head left and right, his voice still soft, as Kaoru looked at him with a worried look

"I'll wait around too then...theres nothing to do in the house" Kaoru sat back down, next to Hikaru, as they both looked at the island together

Meanwhile...
In a tower in an unknown world Hades was quick to work, mixing formulas together and writing observations, in the dark room. The stench of death lingered in the room as his computer began to flash. He looked over with little interest and approached it, seeing a pop up message. He removed his mouth mask with a bored look.

"I really don't like attending meetings...always makes me yawn. My experiment is almost complete...I already know whats going on so...I'll pass this time" He moved his hand on the mouse and clicked the delete button, not even bothering to read it, as he went back to conducting his experiment.

Aaron swung his blade back and forth in a pace, his palms sweaty, as he practice near the waterfall on the island. He looked over to notice a commotion where the boats were. He placed his sword on his back in its case and approached them.
"You DO know that now isn't the time to go out in the middle of the night on a boat. What's the problem this time..." He let out a deep sigh as he looked at them with his usual serious look, his arms crossed, as he waited for an answer

 

"Magic is made to serve man, never to rule over him. These are the words the first wizard spoke and that all mage' should respect. Magic is a gift and also a curse that is why-....Alex pay attention!" Yuri spoke clearly before noticing Alex's head on the table, closing his book and banging it on her head
"Ow! Look...I get it!!! Magic shouldn't be used to hurt people...You've told me this every single lesson!" She rubbed her head hard, looking at her teacher with annoyance, and crossed her arms

"Small steps for small minds as they say...but seriously...if your going to use your magic you have to understand the basics" Yuri let out a sigh of disappointment and placed his book under his arm

"*sigh* All I want is a handsome boy, a hot meal and the right to shoot lightning at fools..." Alex banged her head on the table, letting out a small groan, and complained to him
"If all the mages thought like that then I'd hate to see the rest of the world. But as your teacher I must help you learn from right and wrong. When there's light there's always darkness. If you are willing to participate in this battle that is to come then you must be ready for the consequences" He shook his head left and right before walking over to the window and looking at the stars, so many of them missing from the sky

A small sensation traveled through the mages mind as they both looked at the stars
"Master did you...-" Alex looked at her teacher, a strange look on her face
"Yes Alex...its starting" Yuri nodded to her question as they both watched the twinkling stars

"I guess...I'll have to fight for the strongest side soon..." Alex thought as she stood up from her chair and stood next to her teacher

 

Zorex sat walked to the other side of the island. He layed down for a nap, he wanted to get as far away from this island as he could. He had to found out why he was here, what was his purpose. He fell into a deep sleep. He had the same dream as he always had. he just floated. Floated through darkness. Thousands of yellow eyes around him. Then he woke up. He was standing though. He wasn't standing when he fell asleep! The room he was standing in was very prequlear. He scanned it thuroughly. He looked at the man in front of him. His name istantly knew his name even though he's never met him. Master Xenort.

 

Tom and Destiny defeated all of the creatures. "That wasn't too difficult. Anyways, we need to find a way to wake up. As much as I enjoy sleeping, I don't like being stuck in one area for eternity. Do you have any ideas?"

In reality

Tom's body still layed there on the platform, not disturbed by anything.

 

Johnny came back with some medical supplies and handed them to Halla. "I don't know anything about medicine so you're gonna have to do it. I just grabbed everything I could from my parents shop." He said. He then looked around and couldn't see Tom or any of the others. What caused her to hurt herself? Destiny's gotten bruised before but she's never gotten a serious injury. Something's not right.

 

Halla nodded taking the medical items from Johnny and briefly remembering the small amount of medical training she had learned from a book. She was glad the injury was not nearly as serious as she initially though and all she would really need to apply the gauze and bandages was pure common sense.

After the incident at the docks, with Johnny practically holding Destiny all the way there, the entire group found themselves at Johnny's parent's shop. Halla was not precisely sure what Johnny's parents did in the shop as they were not there at the moment, but she would make sure to ask him later.

The procedure was very simple, Halla noted, as she brushed away strands of Desinty's hair to locate the source of the injury and worked immediately to sanitize and clean the small wound with a few of the medical supplies. Halla frowned when Destiny twinged a bit in her unconscious state as she applied the alcohol-soaked cloth to the injury. She quickly placed another clean gauze directly over the wound, and kept it tightly in place with a bandage.

Looking at her fine work, she smiled at Johnny who seemed distracted at the time. "I'm finished, Johnny. She should be fine right now." Halla stated as she picked herself off the ground.

 

Tom looked around at his new surroundings. "Now whose fault is it that we're separated? Mine? Or hers? I wasn't paying much attention to my surroundings. But then again, she yelled my name out right as I dissapeared. Hard to tell. Anyways, might as well wake up now. Or at least find a way to wake up." Tom saw a pathway that led to someplace else. "When the only way to go is up...." Tom muttered.

 

OoC: I was trying to keep the story going since Shadow disappeared for a while; I don't need to do it anymore.

IC:

Halla nodded, agreeing with Jim. "Yeah, I'm sure she just needs to heal her head a little now." Halla's eyes shifted over to Destiny's body and she felt her body worry.

"Hey Johnny, do you have a mattress or some sort of bedding to lay her on?" Halla inquired, her eyes unmoving.

 

"Uh well... we don't have a guest room so... I guess my room will do for now?" He said questioningly. Despite knowing Destiny for years and the others for almost as long, he never had any of them in his room. In fact the ony time they had come into the house was the front 'shop' part where his parents worked. They were out of town for the weekend so the shop was pretty much closed and seeing as he never actually had his friends over before his parents never bothered saying anything like 'no friends over will we're gone'. After all, who would? Johnny picked up Destiny and carried her on his back as he led the rest of them through the back of the shop and up some stairsto the house portion of the building.

When they reached upstairs it was a simple kitchen and table with just three doors, one for the bathroom, one to his parents room, and one to his room. Johnny lightly kicked his door open and walked in and set Destiny down on his bed. The room was a light blue and was a decent size. Unlike most kids who would have a computer or TV and games, Johnny's room was overall bare. There was a bed and bedside table with a lamp on it and then on the opposite wall was easily the only thing in the room that would be a clue to it being a teenagers room. A giant stereo system that took up an entire wall. Next to it was a shelf filled with nothing but different CDs all sorted by artist. Johnny chuckled nervously as they looked around. "So yeah, this is my room... heh..."

 

Halla scanned the room, almost analyzing the small details as she normally did with just about everything. The room was understandably empty filled mostly with the necessities of a room, not unlike hers, yet hers had a bookshelf filled to the brim with books.

"Your room's kind." Halla commented, liking in particular the warm color of the room. "but I am curious about how she ended up in this situation.. and also about where Tom is.."

 

Tom wandered around in this dream all by himself. "If there's a bright side, it isn't cold." He stopped and sighed. "I'm gonna hate myself for such stupid jokes if I'm stuck alone for any longer." Tom began walking again.

He noticed that there was a light ahead of him. It got bigger and bigger the closer he got. When he finally reached it, it was much bigger than him. "I see. Finally." He turned around to face where he was walking. "See you on the other side Destiny. Try not to keep me waiting." Tom then walked through the light.

He woke up to Jessica's violent shaking. She was clearly disturbed. "Seeing your face when I woke up. Not exactly something I was expecting." Tom stood up, yawned and stretched. "So what were you saying earlier? Something about Destiny being in trouble? Don't worry about it. She's fine. I'm gonna guess she wouldn't wake up like me?" Tom looked to where everybody should be. "Where is everybody? Did they leave us alone as some prank or something?"

 

"You mean they haven't found him sleeping somewhere?" Johnny asked, oblivious to the fact that Jessica was currently trying to wake him. "Usually he's just sleeping and he'll wake up if somethng happens. I don't know, call it sibling intuition or something but he can tell when Destiny is hurt or something. Then again, she's never gotten seriously hurt before. Some bruises or splinters from the play fighting, but just about all of us have gotten those. I think the worst thing that's happened was I once broke my leg in a climbing accident. And Destiny isn't so careless to slip and get hurt this bad. Something caused this, there's no doubt i my mind abou that. What I want to know is what?"

 

"Jessica said she was going to look for and find Tom." Halla said, remembering that her and Jessica split up to locate the twins and reassure their safety. "Though I was hoping she would be back by now.." Her eyes shifted to side, as Johnny's idea of twin intuition surfaced on her mind.

"I hope Tom is aware of Destiny's injury, even if it is minor.." Halla mumbled to herself, dearly wishing it to be true. Then her mind briefly remembered the odd moment in the secret cave where she felt that moment of sudden weakness.

"Wait a moment, Johnny!" Halla called to him, gaining his attention. "I'm not sure if this has any relevance, but when I went to the secret cave, just before I found Destiny, I felt a sudden weakness that made me fall to the ground. My arm had a life of its own and looked like it was reach for the wooden wall."

Halla frowned as she remembered how terrifying losing control over her body had felt. "The wall had a large keyhole in the center of it, almost making the wall appear as a door. Is it possible that these events have any connection?"

 

"You reached for that door? And it had a keyhole? To be honest I have no clue." Johnny admitted. "Although, I can say for a fact that Destiny didn't get this from some accident. Tell you what, Tim, Jim; stay here and make sure she's alright. If she wakes up then either have her stay here or go home, she's not to go back to the island tonight. Halla, let's go check out that door."

 

Halla quickly nodded, her insatiable curiosity surfacing at the mysterious held behind the 'door'. She briefly looked back at the sleeping Destiny before heading out the door with Johnny to check out the secret cave once more.

It was about thirty minutes of paddling the small gap between the islands before Halla and Johnny appeared before the entrance of the secret cave, a smile pleasantly tugging across her lips. "I'm a little nervous, but I'm far too curious to care.."

 

Tom was walking with Jessica towards the beach. He saw Halla and Jonny together. "Hey!" He shouted. "What is going on? Jessica is saying something about Destiny being in trouble. I'm trying to explain to her that Destiny is fine, but she won't believe me. So where did everybody go? And what exactly happened?" Tom started thinking to himself. "I've got a feeling that they're just gonna tell me what Jessica has been saying. Why won't they understand that Destiny is just fine? Sure, she's probably still in that dream world. But she can handle herself. I know I can't tell them about the dream we had, but I know she will be fine."

 

"Hey...wasn't that a boat from the island a while ago? Do you think...-" Hikaru looked slightly nervous, just realising that he accidently fell asleep for a while
"Yeah...something definately happened over there. Let's go to the secret hideout and grab a few things, we'll have to bring a few things incase!" Kaoru quickly stood up, Hikaru too, as they both ran off to where-ever the hideout was

A girl bobbed in the waves of the oceon, being dragged by the currents leading to the island. her clothes were tattered and and three arrows in her back. Another star went out in the sky as her eyes were gently closed, in a slumber, as her key earring began to glow. The only thing the girl continued to hold onto was a blue umbrella, with a strange aura surrounding it.

Meanwhile...
Hades gently tilted a vial of black liquid into another veil as a black smoke clouded the room. Wind suddenly formed at his arms as the smoke quickly dimenished. He removed his mask and looked at the completed vial successfully. placing a cap on top he vanished into darkness.
He appeared in a room, other villians around, as he sat in his assigned chair with a small grin
"Pardon my rudeness for being late...I was conducting an experiment and I found it very hard to just leave it uncomplete. So...who is the target this time?"
