Ok this might be an already posted thread but when I searched it wasnt posted yet, well not in this sence anyway. I want to know what your fav. song is and why. Does it have a special meaning, do you just like the rythem, or do you just like the meaning behind the song post and let see.
My favorite is This is Halloween by marilyn manson. I love the song and movie but i didnt think danny elfman did a good job singing in it so I fell in love with it when Marilyn redid it.

    1) Danny Elfman didn't "sing" This Is Halloween. He composed it. Two differences there.

    2) This should be moved to Entertainment since I deals with music.

Why not post your favorite song? And leave the modding to the mods, because this backseat stuff seriously gets on my nerves.

I kind of don't have a favorite song. There are a lot of songs that I like, but not one that jumps out to me as one I like more. But to choose one for the sake of this thread, I'll go with Bennie and the Jets from Elton John. Every time I hear it, I have to sing it. It's way too damn catchy for its own good. And it was the first one to catch my attention when I was scrolling through the songs I have saved on my computer. >_<

-_- Even I can't enjoy myself ever since you complained to have the necrophilia moved.

I say 1000 words. :( that is very teary. Thanks to it, I was able to start going outside of the box when using Gimp. helped me make that signature that I am currently using for someone else. There are two people who sings this. Koda Kumi sung this but the original one who made the song was Jade Villaion.

I don't have a favourite song... I can't even give you my top 10 favourite songs or anything like that because I have so many, and I wouldn't know which order to put them in... But my favourite song would probably be in the pop category, or R&B

I don't see how I'm backseat modding. Backseat modding is the act of telling members what to do without being of a staff status. I'm merely saying "should be". Not like I said, "YOU IDIOT! THIS HAS TO BE IN THE MUSIC BOARD! MOVE IT NOW!" Merely suggesting that this be moved. Ergo, not backseat modding.

I don't have a favorite song since there are so many songs I like.

^ It's annoying. We can see for ourselves that the thread needs moving. If you were concerned about it being in the wrong place, you should have just reported it. Comments saying "This should be in such and such place" are basically spam. If there's more to discuss on the subject, take it to PM or visitor message.

This made me lol, since FFX-2 was such a joke most of the time. Though, for such a lame game, 1000 Words was a pretty okay song. Certainly it shines in comparison with a lot of the others from the game.

    But to each his own.

I thought that the game was ok but the orchestrated pieces must not be shot down. I even like Real Emotions when Yuna first sung at the beginning of the game. :D

You mean Leblanc in a Yuna suit. And I can't even pretend to enjoy that number. It was one of the worst moments of the game, right off the bat. And the song itself was nothing special, especially when compared to some of the beautiful pieces FF has come out with.

Eh, I'll give a mention to Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. Great song.

I think my favourite song right now is either To the wolves by Anberlin or Core of my addiction by Fireflight.

There probably not very popular or well known songs. But I like them =]

    Favorite songs? Hmmmm.....

    - Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash sits upon that list for me. About two years ago I was at school in Massachusetts, and whenever my mother would come to bring me home for a weekend, or over a break period, we'd come across it on the radio. It was out sing-along song.

    - A Change of Seasons, by Dream Theater. Over 20 minutes of sheer progressive metal epicness.

    - No World For Tomorrow, by Coheed & Cambria

    - Overture/Whirlwind, by Transatlantic

    - The Scarecrow, by Avantasia

    - Cry Just a Little, by Avantasia

    - For Mom, by Buckethead

    - Tear Before The Rain, by Jordan Rudess

    - The Tempest, by Mike Oldfield

    - 160 BPM, by Hans Zimmer

    - When The Water Breaks, by Liquid Tension Experiment

That's just to name a few.

I was going to say that as well, in fact, I'm listening at the moment. Live version taken from the Live Scenes From New York -album. The song beats epicness itself to the ground leaving it bloody and mutilated.

    Most of my favorite songs are metal ones, and usually either very long songs or instrumentals. Just a few;

    Panic Attack by Dream Theater
Honor thy Father by Dream Theater
    Jester's Dance by In Flames
    Vigil by Lamb of God
The Beautiful People by Marilyn Manson
    Public Puppet by Hypocrisy
Knee Deep by Job For A Cowboy

    and so on.

    God's Got a Blessing-Norman Hutchins

Remembered when I went and lost my singing voice a month ago. felt real bad. Something told me to walk around the pews seven times while I was listening to the song. Felt real good and I started to give God the praise. ^.^ Loved that song from then on.

My favourite song always seem to change, and I can't say I only do have one at the moment.

For the past few months I have loved listening to: Remembering Sunday- All Time Low The female vocals at the end make me want to sing xD Oh and Coffee Shop Soundtrack is starting to grow on me in a drastic manner

For the past two years I have loved listening to: The Walk- iMogen Heap I find she's amazing and would love to see her in concert, something about the album Speak for Yourself is inspiring in my opinion :] I must purchase Ellipse and see how that one turned out!

Finally I also love to listen to The Face- Ryan&Dan It's truly beautiful.
"For everytime you fall apart there'll be a soul to guide your journey.
But if you you choose to turn away, there in the mirror you'll see my face..."

So I guess you can say that's my top three ;3

Well, my all-time favorite song right now (and has been for a while) is SOS by Good Charlotte. It just has an awesome rhythm to it, and it seems very visual. It's just an awesome piece of music.
