Closing threads

    well i have thought bout this for a while and here is my plan

    first you close the site and get all Admins every month when something is not happening like SOTW for example, close the site and make it only accsesible by the admins then assin (<--dont know how to speel it) each admin to a certain spot then have them close bad threads and have them close threads that are over a month....thats all..

    We don't need to close the site, in fact that be a horrible idea. And some sections old thread are closed and such. I do it for RP section and kingdom hearts section

    Close down the site every month to close threads sounds like a bad idea.
    Definitely if you want more visitors. The downtime doesn't guarantee them returning.
    Now occasionally closing "bad threads" sounds better.

    Heck no. Sorry, but this is the worst idea ever. The staff do not need to close down the site in order to close down the threads. They can close down the threads with the site still going. Not only that, VETs have the power to close down their own threads. No reason for that. This thread should be closed now.

    yeah so cant we do that without closing the site or does the site have a test server or sumthin but if not then just do all that without closing the site......

    Let me repeat myself again: Staff members can close down any and all threads while VETS whose posts are over 2,000 can close down their own threads. :D -_- We do not have to close this site down just to close down any threads. That is just ridiculous.

    Why are we talking about closing the site? Mass closing of threads can be done without shutting the place down. I could close every single thread right this second if I felt like it. Any section leader can close their section's threads whenever they feel like it, too. Why is this even an issue? Quit being idiots and check the dates on unstickied threads before you post in 'em. It's sad if we have to close every single old thread because folks don't pay enough attention.
