-.- Who in the world is fussing? No one here is fussing. I am just saying that I am not the kind of person to celebrate on death. That is just not me. There is nothing for YOU to think that people are fussing anyways. Anyways, saw the news. Looks like New York is real happy about this.

I'll agree that New York SHOULD be celebrating. They were the ones attacked so it makes sense.

If you think New york is happy you should be in the south
Down here his death is nearly as big as Jesus's lol
But this will die out in time just like the gulf incident

This is exactly how I feel too Summoner! I'm happy justice was served but I'm still kinda sad that some kid out there is without his dad right now, even if his dad was a bad person.

    OMFG, this is so true!!!1111

Hell no. "Destiny"? We're not in D&D, man. I can't believe how people are so stunned of that over the internet. Besides, didn't he die May 2nd and not the 1st?

Yes, Osama Bin Laden was killed Sunday April 30(U.S. Time) or Monday May 1 in Pakistan time. Bin Laden was a man who killed many and was well respected by the al queda.

Who killed him? It was not Obama who killed him but the navy seals, wanted to point this out since so many people on facebook keep pointing this out.

Now I mentioned he was well respected by the al queda, meaning thewar is far from being over and in fact I have a fear of an upcoming terrorist attack.

Whenone kills another of another land, the first thing they do is attack the other land, so... Yeah I think all of us Americans should be worried.

Plus in addition I see we should be worried about who could possibly be the next new al queda leader. We knew bin laden was the al queda leader, but we don't know who could be the new one. For all we know there could already be a new leader we don't know about, and for all us citizens know, the U.S. May know who it could be but that's not for certain.

Some may believe the war might be over, but I think the war has yet to begun.

Most of you guys clearly don't read enough it seems.

Why is the death a man causing such happiness and celebration? Since when have we devolved into such a barbaric state? So why should we care if Ben Laden is dead or not? Is he really dead? Did he die two years ago? Who really knows? We’re living in an era of artificial, fully-staged, media-generated events. None of us was there to actually see him get killed by the USA soldiers, he may have died two years ago for all we know. May 1st is original the same day as Hitler was pronounced dead. But in reality he died on the 30th of April.

Don't believe everything you see in the media.

THIS. He died on the second not the first, considering it's not american "eastern" time.

Osama Bin Laden, the greatest "Hide 'n Seek" player of the decade (or 2010-2011, not sure when we started looking for him), finally caught.

On a more serious note, I feel totally neutral about his death. On one hand, we eliminated the person who caused 9/11. On the other, the al qaeda is super pissed and may attempt another terrorist attack. And I heard that they already have a new leader, Adnan Shrukijimah; and he's lived in the U.S. for 15 years. More info at: clicky.

So killing a leader isn't enough. I'm not sure what the heck we should do - continue killing people or find a peace treaty that has a 1% chance of working - but this war is not going to end anytime soon.

I think best bet is hope the al queda give up before we go completely bankrupt.

The way I see it, the al queda could sort of fall apart like the Nazi's or we can go broke trying to bring them down like the Soviet Union.

Overall, I don't think we'll see the fall of the al queda for a very long time :\

As long as there are twisted religions, there are terrorists.

I was talking about this the other day amongst friends. Positive note, it's good to know that finally they have taken him down. Negative note, it could influence a large scale attack from the others who are still out there. But all in all, I don't care what anyone says, Wally still wins at being the best hide and seek participant ^^

ok now i would like to somewhat go along with what Chris Rock said on a comedy performance, just with a different person.

This makes no sense now that I think about it. They can find Osama Bin Ladan but they can't find the guy who shot Tupac!? C'mon that's just sad

As Destiny pointed, while America may be all "yippie-skippy" about Osama's death, he was a well respected leader with allies and an entire organization behind him. Sure, we can hope that the organization will apart and that Osama's allies take his death an incentive to quit while they still have their lives, but in most cases it won't end as simply as that. They'll most likely retaliate our retaliation - sad but true.

With any luck, Al Kaida (sp?) will be in shambles long enough for a massive operation to pretty much destabilize the rest of their organization. But that's just hopes and wishes.

Carmen Sandiego is the best hide and seek player, not Waldo or Bin Laden. Waldo you can find easily. But has ANYBODY found Carmen? I think not!

??? And what is the point in this again? Right now, I am completely up to the point as to where I just want to tell people to just shut up if they are celebrating over his death. There is nothing to celebrate about his death. he's dead. Big whoop. We finally caught him. What else? One of my friends have been threatened and harassed on facebook just because she stated that she do not think that a celebration over the killing is something to be happy about and that if she do her speech on it this friday, then she will be completely ignored, deleted off of their friends list and blah blah blah. Just like Demaian said. Since when did America became a barbaric state? We cannot be neutral on this?
