Yep... It Still Sucks

    It's not as bad as singing in KHII, but Alantica still sucks ass in KHI. Does anyone else agree?

    man i hate that swimming thing,it is really boring,thats why khrecom is one of my favorites,no singing,no swimming.

    ??? No. Ariel is able to fight (And a good one too), you are able to explore, fight some good enemies that you can only be able to fight underwater (Which can give you good items that you cannot normally find). What else? As for the swimming, it is to bring more of a challenge to the game. Don't know why you should dislike it. They teach you how to swim in the game. You don't like a challenge?

    Atlantica in KH1 wasn't so bad, on the contrary it was interesting and had it's uniqueness. The swimming part wasn't bad either.

    I agree, certainly when you compare it to the majority of the other worlds in KH I. While actually having a story made KH I's version far superior to KH II's musical number, the whole swimming and fighting thing was annoying (which is kind of odd because I had no issue with fighting and flying, which used the same controls). Honestly though, I don't really have good reasons (partly because I haven't played this game in a really long time), but even considering how much I enjoyed The Little Mermaid as a child, this world couldn't do it for me.

    The swimming thing is not a challenge, Summoner. It's a straight up pain in the ass.

    Problems I have with Atlantica:

    1. Swimming.
    2. Loss of Techniques BECAUSE of Swimming
    3. Swimming.
    4. Confusing-labyrinth like level-layout.
    5. Swimming.

    I don't know about KHI because I like to see arial kick ass instead of just being a stupid fish but the KHII version is as stupid as it gets...

    The only good thing I can say about KHII's rendition was the shortness of each trip. In KH I was always so bitter sweet about finishing worlds because I know at some point Atlantis and it's long enduring swimming was going to take place.

    So I was always relieved in KHII to be like: OH! Go in, get out.

    Leveling up is necessary to beat Ursula... *sigh* I miss the Shark at the Sunken Ship.
