The graveyard also should be an interesting place for Glyde, considering it is the sum total of where his own home will become. Just in a parallel universe is all.

  2. Finally finished my template.

    Battle Attire: Harumi's Battle Attire.jpg
This picture displays her battle outfit.

    Personal Info

Personality: Cheerful and confident. Harumi is good at brightening other people's days, and loves to help others as much as she can. She is a loyal friend and an unforgiving enemy. Harumi believes that those who stray from the path of light should not be trusted. Her pride can sometimes get her into trouble.

Known Connections: Squall Leonhart, "Leon"- Gunblade Master. Teaches Harumi how to fight, cast magic, and be a soldier.
Aren Sasaki- Father. A loving caretaker who would do anything for Harumi. He is a construction worker.
Sumiko Sasaki- Mother. She is a housewife and an amazing cook.
Yuffie Kisaragi- Friend of Squall. Sometimes assists Harumi in her training. The two have become friends as well.
Rin Inoue- Harumi's friend since childhood. She's a Key Bearer that has left Radiant Guardian to obtain her Mark of Mastery.
Nobu Kobayashi- Another childhood friend. He's a Key Bearer as well, but he has fallen to the power of darkness. His current location is unknown to Harumi.

History: Harumi is a resident of Radiant Guardian. She is the apprentice of Squall Leonhart, who is teaching her how to wield a gunblade, magic, and other combat techniques. She acts as one more warrior of light, making sure that the streets of Radiant Guardian are never plagued by darkness.

    Combat Info

Weapons: Rising Courage- Gunblade.jpg (basic shape)
A revolver-type gunblade, similar to Squall's. It is a little longer than the standard, with the blade measuring three feet long. The handle is bright pink with black trim, while the revolver is rose colored. This weapon can be used from a distance; the revolver shoots .357 caliber bullets. The sheathe is on her waist on her left side.

Eris and Venus- Harumi's Heart Daggers.jpg
Two stylized daggers kept in sheathes on the belt that enable them to be drawn quickly. They cannot be thrown very effectively, but are great close-combat weapons.

Non-Magical Abilities: Dexterous- Harumi is more acrobatic than the average person. She can perform feats of jumping, dodging, and running with incredible speed and precision. Harumi is also able to perform high-level parkour maneuvers. She has great fine motor control and hand-eye coordination.

Magical Abilities: Basic Magic- Harumi can cast Fire, Blizzard, Thunder and Cure.
Fire- An orb of fire manifests in Harumi's hand or at the tip of one of her blades, then shoots at the opponent. In close range, this spell can instead take the form of a swath of flames that Harumi directs with her hand.
Blizzard- An orb of ice manifests in Harumi's hand or at the tip of one of her blades, then shoots at the opponent. At long range, the spell can instead take the form of ice crystals that manifest above the opponent, then shoot downward at them.
Thunder- A bolt of lightning shoots from Harumi's hand or the tip of one of her blades. If multiple enemies are close to each other, this spell can instead take the form of several bolts of lightning that rain down on the group. The latter method makes each individual bolt less powerful, however.
Cure- An orb of light descends upon Harumi or one of her allies. This heals light wounds and fatigue.

Natural Mage- In video game terms, this ability would be equivalent to a high MP stat. Compared to the average mage, it takes Harumi about 1.5x more casting to become spiritually fatigued.

Other: Harumi carries 24 spare bullets for her revolver in a pouch around her waist, and always has Rising Courage fully loaded, for a total of 30 bullets on her person.

    ---------

Harumi will not be able to use Cure during this battle, in accordance with Wayward's rules.

((Since Sho hasn't posted any updates to their preferred character sheet, I'll be starting this without them)).

    Mood Music

Black eyes opened with a soft glimmer upon the wasteland scene stretched before them. The owner of these eyes, a young man with rough, short cut, jet-black hair, drew in a breath and let it out slowly. Despite the barren features he was staring at, he somehow felt invited. The endless desert, with all of it’s rocky outcrops, let out a subtle call to him, one that couldn’t be seen, but simply felt in the depths of his Heart. Perhaps it was that something was about to happen there, or perhaps it was simply a desire to render himself even more alone than he already was had manifested within him. Either way, he had to see what was beyond the company of the rock formations.

There was only one thing to do about it: to leave at once. Rising sleepily to his feet, he stretched and yawned himself awake and glanced up upon the rock against which he had fallen asleep. It was pretty tall, rising up about thirty or forty feet above the ground; by no means the tallest of the rocky pillars, but far from being the shortest. With another deep, controlled breath, he commenced with the task of scaling the formation. The challenge wasn’t nearly as pressing as he thought it would have been. There were plenty of footholds along his side, and one or two out-grown spots created natural platforms for him to stand and regain his composure on his way up.

Within five minutes, he had reached the top of the pillar, where he found another welcome sight: the top of the rock was formed similarly to the battlement of a castle, in that about a foot worth of material lined the edges of the otherwise even summit. He knew it would be worthwhile to have that extra cover, even if the odds of running into hostility in such a remote location was low. From his battlement, he gazed out into the distance, where fields upon fields of what appeared to be fence posts lined a pathway further into the desert. Beyond even those, he could see, without any doubt, a large, billowing cloud of sand and dust crawling across the desert.

“A storm,” he said to himself in a mutter. A light, nearly unnoticeable glancing of sediment breezed about him, marking the outer edge of the sandstorm. Realizing that he’d probably have to stay the night at the bottom of his pillar as the storm passed around him, he lowered onto his knees, and then onto his belly. In his hands, summoned from thin air, a long, gun-like item appeared. The Sniper, a model of his Keyblade, came to rest atop the wall of the pillar. The young man’s fingers pressed gently against the trigger of his Keyblade, issuing a discrete force of magic out to the distant fields. Even from his vantage point, he could see that one of the apparent fence posts had been knocked onto an angle by his shot.

Target practice, was just one of the was that Glyde Savian liked to pass his time.

    ((Ace- Details on powers

Ace has absolute control over fire, and with the Triforce of Power, is obviously insanely powerful(He can also fly like Ganondorf in OOT) His moveset is, however, based highly on speed, making him incredibly dangerous.

Din's Fire- Creates a dome of fire that expands outward a maximum of 10 feet hurting anything it touches.

Fire fists- rapid fires orbs of fire by punching the air.

More to come in my next post Damn character limit.))

    ((Ace- Part 2

Ace in the hole- Ace's body ignites, making him completely invulnerable for a maximum of 30 seconds. Since this move takes a lot of energy, Ace can use it only twice per battle.

I am the King- Ace calls upon the spirits of the fallen Gerudo, using them as a shield since they can't attack.

(Limit break) Spirit of Power- Ace's mortal body is possessed by the spirit of the Triforce and transforms into his 'Ganon' form.

Ganon- Uses the same attacks, but stronger. Also has two fire swords.))

  10. A brown-haired girl sat slumped against a large spike of a rock. It doubled as a backrest and a protective barrier, as the wind around her violently whipped wisps of sand. A sandstorm was coming in from behind her*, and fast too. The girl was motionless, head facing down and one hand loosely gripping the handle of a pink gunblade. The sound of the wind around her grew into a raging cacophony. The girl's ear twitched as her head slowly rose.

"Sounds like it's time to go," Harumi said, her voice was lost in the storm. She picked herself up and brushed off her skirt, though she knew it to be a futile effort. Harumi then sheathed her blade and took off in a full sprint. She felt tendrils of sand smack against her back as she left the protection of the large rock. Making her way toward what she knew to be the Keyblade Graveyard, Harumi vaulted over and weaved through the chaotically placed rock formations. The storm would be a nuisance; she needed to find a rock formation that granted protection from multiple directions.

Soon, Harumi was among the scattered, owner-less Keyblades. She looked among them with a feeling of remorse.

"Squall told me about the Key Bearers... but I don't remember there being this many." Harumi said to herself. She spotted a prime defensive position nearby, in the form of three large claw-like rocks that stood in a triangle pattern. Harumi ran into the middle of the formation and put her back against one of the rocks. Her position would provide her with adequate cover from the sandstorm. Now she just had to locate the others.

*OOC: Just to be clear, Harumi is on the opposite side of the graveyard as Gylde.

A tallish man with short black hair that blew wildly in the wind, and a devilish smile hovered near Glyde, itching for his allies to get here so he can fight.

"You don't look like you're here to sightsee... Well, since my teamates are a bit slow..." He shot a small fireball at Glyde's backside and laughed as he dismissed it before it could reach the other person. "How's about we battle hmm?"

((Ace is cocky, but he's very fast, don't expect many force hits being open Wayward.))

    EtherealSummoner Lamentations 3:22-26

Two Dancers was skating gracefully on the ground as if they were on ice. They were performing their Bracket skill followed by two spins and ending it with a Biellmann Spiral. The Two Dancers disappeared as they were done with the ritual and purple smoke exploded in the center. Soon, a lady who is youthful was wearing a long, white crown and her silver, royal dress. "And my magic brings me here... and I am back to this wretched place. How pitiful." The queen looks up and saw that a sandstorm was stirring up within the area. "Long have I sought for a soul and heart that is able to strengthen me... and this I will finally achieve. However...I will need some assistance."

She looked up and saw an explosion that was created by a dark man with a fire spell. "Hm... interesting. Looks like I will be accompanied with some help after all."

"Now my minions. Come forth. Slaughter the keyblade bearer and bring me his soul. Run amok." The queen slammed her staff and summoned her Dancers, sending up to three dancers to go forward to fight in her place as she stores up energy and to capture the keyblade bearer. "Entertain me if you will... hm...what's this?" The sage had her staff glowing and she lifted the middle three claw-like rock and smashed it to the far left. Aren't you a part of this fight as well? Either you prove yourself a soldier or create yourself a bloodbath." The woman looked back up and decided to walk, deciding to take care of the sandstorms for her own gain.

Bang. Bang. Bang. The mental voice echoed the silent shots of the Keyblade.

Moments passed as hours in Glyde's head. One by one, he marked the distant posts, quickly following in a row from the one he had shot at first. Each one was hit in succession; though from where he was, it appeared that they had done little more than budge against the force of each shot. They were either really well crafted, he thought, or The Sniper wasn't nearly as powerful a weapon as he had believe it to be. Yet regardless of the lack of damage done, his head was clearing each time he hit a target, which was good when in a such maddening place as a desert.

Drawing a deep breath, he set his sight on the next post in the row. His finger sat comfortably on the trigger. Wait for it, he told himself. He readied his shot. Then...

A voice broke his train of thought. He turned immediately, seeing a man floating behind him. He glared at the man for but a second, only half listening to what he was saying. before the familiar flash of red, orange and yellow manifested at the stranger's beckoning. In an act of instinct, Glyde rolled to the side, tossing the large, cumbersome Keyblade the opposite way in the process. He came back right up just in time to see that the fireball had not only been a small attack, but also a mere toying.

Whoever the man was, he wanted a fight. Whether he wanted to or not, Glyde was inclined to oblige. "Sure," he said simply, continuing to stare down the stranger. Being in squatted position, it was easy to mask his move. His hands pressed gently against the ground beneath his feet, as though he was keeping himself balanced on all fours. Upon the top surface of his rocky perch, he settled a spell down; a dormant, inconspicuous charge of magic, which enclosed around him in a circle that spanned the diameter of the perch.

His Keyblade returned to his hand, but different in size and shape. Still in semblance to a gun, this one was significantly shorter than the last one, and seemed to have its barrel merged with a sword blade. "Come get me!" he shouted. Then, he sprung out of his position and listed quickly to his right through midair before he would descend into the midst of the rock formations. In nearly the same instance, he had activated and set off his magic. The spell circle he had placed burst up in a thunderous explosion, breaking apart the top of he rock pillar, and shooting a fair amount of debris.

With no hesitation, he made his way across the rocky landscape on foot.

  14. Harumi waited for the others to show themselves. Though she hadn't yet spotted her enemy, she did notice that every couple of seconds she could hear a PANG! When she observed the cause of the noise, she could see that, not too far from her, a Keyblade would be slightly moved every time the sound resonated.

A gun? Harumi wondered, glancing at her gunblade. There were rocky outcrops everywhere, meaning vantage points for a sharpshooter could be all around her. Even so, she attempted to calculate the trajectory of the bullet, looking at the direction the Keyblade would move when hit. Her eyes led to a far-off pillar of stone. Harumi stared intently. She could barely make out what looked like the top of someones head, but from the distance there was no way to be sure. Harumi sighed and closed her eyes.

Maybe this heat is getting to me... Harumi lamented silently. Then she heard an unfamiliar voice.

"Aren't you a part of this fight as well? Either you prove yourself a soldier or create yourself a bloodbath."

"I don't have to prove anything to you," Harumi spat. "I'm not afraid of your threats, either. Leave the empty words outside of battle." Harumi turned her head back to the pillar.

In the place where she thought she had seen a head now resided a floating man. He put his hand up and a bright orange ball shot out of it, something Harumi recognized to be a fire spell. There was a flurry of movement and then another man leapt from the pillar, only for the top of the it to explode into a brilliant shower of dust and rock. The man hit the ground running. Though she couldn't make out his features, she knew in her Heart that he was her enemy.

Harumi kicked off of the closest rock and jumped onto the top of one of the claws. From there her vantage point was perfect, she could clearly see the woman who had threatened her as well as her enemy. She pointed her gunblade at him, but then lowered it slightly.

Too far, Harumi thought, as she leapt to another pillar fairly close to her. Kneeling down, she then raised one of her hands in a soft motion. Tiny wisps of ice emanated from her palm as she cast the Blizzard spell. Over her enemy, large crystals of ice formed, then promptly shot down at him.

Ace yelped as dozens of things happened at once, he was able to avoid any harm because of his speed, however he still had to admit this guy was good. "It's been a long time since I've had to use half my power, let alone 100% of it! It's also been a while..." His hand extended, and in a huge column of fire, a massive greatsword formed in his hands((This is his weapon as mentioned in his original template, his two handed sword))

Ace charged forward, and jumped at Glyde, prepared to clash swords with the man.

    EtherealSummoner Lamentations 3:22-26

"I will just let them spend their energy on the soldiers. Until then," The Sorceress saw that the soldier shot a blizzard spell and smiled. "This will be interesting." The Sorceress took her staff and pointed at the blizzard spell, using her psychic spell to break the soldier's ice spell into smaller pieces so that it can hit the enemy easier. "And now to set up my own surprises." Nerissa saw the sandstorms and concentrated her energy on them, controlling the sandstorms and sent them towards both the keyblade wielder and the owner of the Triforce of Power. "Oh please capture his soul for me."

The Dancers that the Sorceress summoned was still heading straight for the keyblade wielder and started to skating even faster.

From the moment Glyde started running, he was looking forward, not sparing even a fraction of a second to look over his shoulder. Though the enemy would have been on his trail, the Keybearer knew that his debris trap would buy him a second or two worth of a head start. It was just enough time for him to make a beeline towards another rock formation. He was determined to keep himself behind one of the outcrops; once the sandstorm hit, it would be impractical for anyone to be running about in the open. Some distance away, he could make out a formation that seemed to offer the right cover: a width at least twice that of the others around it, and slight overhang formed at the top, which would keep the storm more at bay. If he could make it there, he’d be able to wait out the sandstorm in safety.

But he fell short of his destination; not by the will of another’s intrusion, but by his choice to stand his ground. He wheeled about, facing back towards the enemy he had just escaped from. The distance between them was closing fast with the enemy’s approach. This boded well for Glyde though, since his current weapon, Standoff was perfect for assault combat. He readied his shot, a straight line that would lead it barreling full force into his assailant. But the shot was never fired, for above him, the shattering of icy shards above his head steered him to a defensive. A clear purple dome of solid light energy rose around him. The ice shards rained down like glass against a stone floor. Adding an extra share of energy into his shield, Glyde maintained it just long enough to block the impending sword strike from his forward opponent.

As the barrier dispersed, he would take the shot he had meant to take before summoning the barrier.

  18. Harumi watched as the action unfolded in front of her, ending with her enemy using a Reflect spell to deflect her attack as well as her ally's blade.

"Tch, good move, Keybearer." Harumi quietly scoffed. She looked to the side and saw some odd-looking creatures quickly skating toward the enemy. "Summons, huh? I've never seen them in person... this is my chance!" Harumi made a series of leaps, landing on one rocky formation after another and closing the distance between her and her enemy.

Harumi touched down on a stone pillar not 30 feet away from the enemy and immediately got onto a knee, pointing her Gunblade at the Keybearer; she fired one, two, three shots at him. She was about to close in and enter melee combat, but instead decided to stay at mid-range. She quickly spun her barrel and reloaded three bullets. Harumi then charged a Fire spell in her free hand, ready to let it off when she deemed fit. She followed the Keybearer with her eyes, waiting for the perfect moment to release the flames...

((I'm assuming Glyde's reflect is still active))

Ace grinned and his right hand glowed gold as the Triforce of Power appeared. "Weak!" He yelled as he lifted his sword, and with his power at 75% now, smashed the barrier. He stopped the blade short of his opponent and backed off a bit. "Impressive use of magic! My two friends back home could learn quite a bit from you! However... Din! Lend me your strength in my time of need! DIN'S FIRE!" After the chant was spoken, Ace slammed his fists into the ground, and a large dome of fire expanded outwards from him, closing in on Glyde.

  20. EtherealSummoner

    EtherealSummoner Lamentations 3:22-26

"Now my pets. GO FORTH!" Nerissa continue to control the sandstorm, making it spin viciously. The Dancers took opportunity of this and decided to jump inside the sandstorm, spinning on the outside of it so that they can be thrown forward, two towards the keyblade wielder, one towards the person over the Triforce of Power and another one into the air to get ready to do a grand slam toward the keyblade wielder's head. Nerissa kept on smiling, seeing that with her power over the sandstorms, it was still going on towards the keyblade wielder's destination. "Let's see. Oh yea. I can do this." The Queen shot several psychic energy bolts at the sandstorms, making her attack spin inside the sandstorm until it was shot forth towards the fire that the wielder of the Triforce of Power created, clashing against it and causing an explosion.

"Too easy. Hardly any fighting for me. Oh well. I can deal with that. At least I created a big bang. "
