Glyde watched from the safety of his dome of light as the brief sequence of events transpired. To his misfortune, the barrier shattered against the weight of his enemy’s blade and the power of the strike behind it. Even if unnerving, it was an impressive feat to witness.

Immediately, deciding against shooting at the man, the Keybearer doubled back to avoid the blade as it followed through the barrier. Being the quick thinker that he was, Glyde made use of his shattered barrier’s remnants, compiling the energy that remained into a set of small orbs suspended in midair. His first move was to launch those orbs that lay in front of him onto the opponent before him. These would pass, with little obstruction, through the dome of fire expanding towards him. With a second casting, he called forth an Aeroa spell; the air around him spurred into a powerful gale-force cyclone that condensed around his body, which would help circulate the flames harmlessly around him.

Simultaneously, a plethora of commotions took place. From somewhere behind him, there echoed a roar of gunfire. He wheeled around as a trio of bullets grazed him in passing, having been offset just enough for him to avoid any real damage. His sight came upon a girl stationed atop one of the stone pillars, armed with a gunblade. He retaliated, swiftly dispatching the orbs of light that had been behind him towards the pillar and the girl. He wheeled back around to bring his attention back to the fire mage. He was greeted by yet another roaring boom, this time that of an explosion, the origin of which he hadn’t the slightest clue.

With the force of the explosion between him and the fire mage, Glyde was knocked back a short way, as he assumed the fire mage had been. Again, a veil of dust and sand had been kicked up, shielding from the one opponent’s view. Hoping that the girl on top of the pillar had been distracted long enough by his reflection shards, he pulled himself from the ground, and retreated in a low glide deeper into the field of stone pillars.

He was battling at least two opponents, assuming the fire mage had been responsible for the explosion. He needed a strategy; more so, he needed time.

((Though it is self-explanatory, the fact that Glyde has gone on the move would throw off Summoner's Dancers)).

  2. Harumi smirked as the orb of light came jetting toward her. She pumped her arm and hurled the readied Fire spell in response. It collided with the orb of light, causing a small explosion followed by purple shards sticking into the ground like shrapnel, dissipating after mere moments. Harumi waited for the commotion to cease and scanned the area frantically, trying to get a visual on her enemy. She was surprised to see him already a fair distance away from her, floating through the air toward the center of the field.

"Damn it!" Harumi cursed. She leapt off of the pillar in a huge arc, landing on the ground in full sprint. Closing in on her enemy, she fired three shots at her opponent, reloading in between each one. "Time to end this chase!"Harumi jumped forward and kicked off of a rocky column, putting her in the air above the enemy. With a downward swipe of her open hand, a swath of Fire erupted toward the Keybearer.

Ace yelped as the orbs came at them, but they were very ineffective de to the invincibility period granted by the orb of fire... which then proceeded to explode, sending him rocketing backwards. "OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW!" The Gerudo king raised his hands and yelled, "Spirits of the Gerudo! Defend your king!" As soon as he finished the earth trembled, and massive cracks appeared in the ground. Thousands of Gerudo spirits rose from the depths and formed a defensive barrier around the Gerudo King. Nothing, not even the sandstorm, could get to Ace while his Gerudo army defended him. When they disappeared Ace had the ultimate move to unleash on his foe.

The dancers that was after the keyblade wielder and looked around, confused as to what to do next while the other who went after the wielder of the Triforce of Power was knocked back by the wall. The dancer stood there, smiling and decided to circle around him. The other three Dancers decided to split up, trying to search for him. "Hm... looks like I need more interference. Let's see... what to do what to do..." The Witch stood there wondering as she saw that her sandstorm is not quick enough. "I think I can speed it up a bit!"

Nerissa transported herself inside the sandstorm, hearing it raging inside. "Now to truly cause a storm! QUINTESSENCE!" The witch starts to spin her staff around and around, sending out dark thunder inside the raging sandstorm. Soon, it changed colors, thunder sparking in every directions and was spinning chaotically. "This should work now." She then continue on her way, having the sandstorm roam throughout the area at a faster speed through her thunder spell that is making it spin faster in a clockwise position as it continue to shoot chaotic thunder spells in every direction with no control.

The Keybearer made his beeline away from the action, the distance of which was unknown. He looked over his shoulder, seeing that the woman with the gunblade was already in close pursuit of him. Seeing that her weapon was aimed at his backside, he dashed behind the nearest pillar. More shots from the gunblade came flying past him again as soon as he had taken cover; he had gotten lucky. Can't rely on too much luck from this point on, he thought, spitefully. His air shield began to wane away, eventually dying to stillness. Knowing he only had seconds before he was found, he considered his options.

"Spell Circles," he muttered conclusively. The spontaneous and unpredictable manner in which he could trigger spell circles was the best hope he had. The only trick would be to them would be making sure that he could pick off each of his enemies one at a time, and more so without the other knowing about it. Quickly, he pressed his hand against the surface of the rock pillar, and whispered, "Blast Stream." The feeling of some magic latching onto the stone told him that he had placed the spell successfully. Unseen until it was activated, the spell, he suspected, would make quick work of at least one of his enemies.

Then, he sensed the great force growing in the distance. He looked to the sky and saw that the sandstorm was intensifying, and the skies were starting to throw bolts of lightning about. His eyes firmly focused on the sky, he easily caught sight of the gunblade wielder. As the fire erupted from her hand, he doubled back, away from the pillar, hoping to keep her landing spot between him and his spell circle. Tracking her descent with his Keyblade, he took three shots of his own, each one following, as best as they could, the path she was traveling.

  6. Harumi saw the projectiles speeding toward her and immediately regretted jumping. In a panic, Harumi did the only thing she could think of, which started with charging a Fire spell in her right hand; just after clearing the pillar, still mid-air, Harumi half-turned and hurled the ball of flames at the stone column. With a stroke of bad luck, Harumi was hit by one of the magic projectiles as she did so, causing her to grasp her arm in pain. An explosion erupted, leaving a small, blackened scar on the pillar, and sending Harumi flying off to the right.

Harumi tried to right herself in air, but couldn't quite do so before she smacked the ground. Bouncing into a tumble, Harumi managed to stop her momentum by flipping herself upright and slamming both of her hands on the ground while simultaneously using her feet to gain friction. Finally, with a long trail of dust, Harumi skid to a halt right next to a tall boulder which she quickly flipped herself around in order to gain some cover. She took a moment to regain her bearings. Looking herself over, she noticed that, luckily, she took almost no damage from the explosion and only had a couple shards of stone shrapnel embedded in her, which she picked out hastily.

"That hurt," Harumi said, though barely loud enough to be audible. Her shoulder was in a great deal of pain. Luckily, it was her left shoulder that got hit, so her gunblade wielding arm was fine, but it would still make it very painful to try and hurl spells with her left arm. Suddenly, a crash of thunder echoed, and she realized the impending sandstorm was becoming a lightning storm. She quickly looked around and tried to get a visual on the other two fighters. She couldn't see the Sorcerer, and where the sword-wielding man was now resided a defensive cocoon of spectral energies. Guess they aren't going to be much help, Harumi thought to herself.

Harumi decided she would have to go on the defensive for now. She dashed away from the boulder to a rocky outcrop, and through that to a small clearing, trying to put a bit of distance between her and Glyde. She still tried to maintain a visual on the Keybearer, which was relatively easy given he was out in the open. She found herself in front of a series of stepping stone-like pillars that gradually got taller. They were placed in a circle so that the tallest one was right next to the shortest one. Harumi hid behind one that was taller than her, hoping she had kept herself fairly hidden during her escape.

The spirit shield began to disperse, and when Ace became visible, one could see a massive amount of pure fire above his head. "Hehheheh! Now DIE!" He yelled as he launched the fire towards Glyde. As it got closer it split into many separate fireballs that homed in on Glyde, and behind them, Ace launched forward, sword in hand, to cut his opponent down.

    EtherealSummoner Lamentations 3:22-26

The sandstorm was getting closer and closer toward the group and the chaotic thunderbolts coming from within still was hitting in every direction.

    "Darlings. Get into formation."

The dancer that was near the owner of the Triforce of Power smiled and was following after him while the three dancers were going towards the gunblade trainer to join up with her.

    "Quintessence."

The sorceress starts spinning her staff more and this time, she combined dark magic with the thunder bolts, sending in many sphere-violet, shaped attacks in different directions. Her attack intensified so much that it was hitting the ground, creating holes along the way and the air was getting heavier and heavier, as if it will pull all three of the competitors within her sandstorm that she created.

    "Now run amok."

Glyde was biting his lip, clearly getting caught up in the rush and frustrations of the battle. A clean hit was a clean hit in his eyes, but the gunblade wielder wasn’t going down as easily as he had expected. Hastily, he changed directions, and backtracked towards the pillar, hoping that rushing the enemy would keep her near the vicinity of his spell circle. But she had different plans, and fled from the scene before Glyde could make any further efforts. Though he could have pursued her, he decided to stay put where he was. With the pillar and several boulders in reasonable proximity, he was allotted substantial cover from the gunblader and the sword-wielder, as well as a buffer zone against the rolling sandstorm, which was beginning to make contact on the battlefield.

He stopped in a space between two boulders (though a considerable apart form each other) and some ten feet away from the pillar upon which his spell circle was set. His senses and attention changed focus and fell upon the sword-wielder, who was on the move once more. First, Glyde was met by a series of fireballs, some barreling directly towards him and others arcing around to hit him from behind. Bracing himself, he cast his reflect spell. Though all together the projectiles were a powerful force, their distribution around the shielding dome resulted in a more resilient defense than if a single, large projectile had driven into a single section. Each individual section of the dome held its own, allowing only bit of the remains of the fire to seep through as the shield dissipated.

As the shield broke apart, Glyde gathered the shredded remains from the backside of the dome into a single orb, which he kept, pinned inconspicuously on the ground behind his feet. With the orb in place and perfectly discrete, Glyde braced for the coming sword strike. He didn’t have time to cast any real spells. What was able to do was create a half-baked aero spell, which helped to lessen the force of the slash’s impact. With this he caught his opponent’s blade with the broadside of his own, such that his weapon was resting comfortably against his forearm. His positioned was on the inside of the slash, leaving him close to the sword-wielder. However, he purposely allowed himself to be slightly overpowered by his opponent’s force. So, after a few seconds of deadlocked blades, he dipped under his opponent’s blade, while sliding his blade out of the deadlock.

Turning about to get a clear sight at the sword-wielder, gestured for his previously planted orb of light to shoot up at an angle, at which it was aimed towards the man’s head. Then, though he regretted having to use it on someone he could deal with in close combat, he activated and launched the spell circle set upon the pillar. The Blast Stream shot out at a jet speed towards the swordsman. Meanwhile, Glyde pushed himself backwards and listed to the left of the pillar where he came into contact with one of the flanking boulders.

  10. Harumi glanced out from behind her pillar. She saw that the Keybearer decided not to pursue her, something that she was grateful for. She tenderly felt her shoulder, wincing and inhaling sharply at the pain. That Keybearer's tough... Harumi thought. Damn magical wounds! They're always so painful! Just then, a wisp of sandy air smacked powerfully against the pillar Harumi rested on, causing a rushing roar to resound. It seemed that the sandstorm had reached her. Harumi noted the purple lighting throughout the storm and to be careful about standing in the open.

Glancing out again, Harumi saw the chaos unfolding: the multitude of fireballs, the reflect spell, the craftily hidden ball of light. She was following along just fine until, out of nowhere, a beam of pure magical energy came barreling out of a pillar and toward the swordsman assaulting the Keybearer. Tracing it's point of origin, Harumi saw that the attack came from the pillar that she had leapt over not five minutes before. That little...! He set a trap!

Harumi clenched her gunblade and debated her options. They were slim. However, she did have one thing in mind. Watching her enemy, she saw him dodge behind a boulder, terminating her visual.

"Damn!" Harumi cursed. She locked her eyes on the pillar the Keybearer was behind. Being as stealthy as possible, Harumi began to dash in between the cover of boulders, inching closer to her enemy while doing her absolute best to remain undetected. The sounds of the sandstorm helped to muffle her steps, something Harumi was grateful for.

Ace didn't see the beam coming, and took the blast to the face. He staggered a bit, but otherwise stood strong. He did however, see the light ball heading towards him, and in his anger at being struck, he slammed it with the back of his hand, sending it flying back to its owner at high speed. "That was a lucky hit... No more hide and seek! Now begone!" Ace levitated high in the air, and his fist glowed with power. A smile appeared on his face, and with a roar, he slammed his fist into the ground, sending a massive shockwave that obliterized all the boulders in the area, flattening the land around him within a two mile radius. The shockwave sped towards Harumi and Glyde at an alarming rate, while Ace himself turned his attention to the storm, "Enough of this!" Summoning an energy ball, Ace hurled it towards the storm at light speed. The ball penetrated the storm and rotated in the opposite direction of the storm, weakening it and slowing it down dramatically.

  12. EtherealSummoner

    EtherealSummoner Lamentations 3:22-26

    "Fool."

The Sorceress still had control of the storm since she was inside of it and with the power of darkness and lightning, it shortened the power of the energy ball thrown. She changed the direction back towards the competitors, putting more pressure on the opponents once again.

    "You should've ran."

Lifting up her staff, the sandstorm regained its momentum and the air was getting heavier. Soon, she was attempting to force everyone into the air and to draw them inside the sandstorm and thanks to the owner of the Triforce destroying all chance of hiding, she can initiate her plan. Two of the four Dancers leaped into the air and grabbed the gunblade wielder, smiling as they were ready to be lifted into the air with everyone.

"Now is time to obtain my prize."

As the attacks coming from the sandstorm was stilling going in every direction, she was putting a small amount of her energy into the sandstorm so taht she may be able to prevent everyone from escaping.

”Shit!” Glyde spat. He had just barely caught a glimpse of his orb from the reflect shards as it was knocked in his direction. He took a quick step to the side, followed by a dive into a roll on the ground. He came to a halt on one knee and repositioned himself so that he was once again facing the sword-wielder. He fired a single shot at him before he noticed a force rushing towards him, lifting the sand on the ground in its path.

There was little that he could do against the shockwave. He tried to jump, hoping to propel himself over the shock, but the force carried, knocking him upward and back some distance. He couldn’t be sure how far he had been knocked back. He only knew that the shock wave had been strong enough to launch him in towards the heart of the sandstorm, which seemed to weaken briefly before picking up in full swing again. Before getting thrown too far, however, Glyde managed to use a steadily applied glide to regain control and plant himself firmly on the ground.

Caught in the midst of the sandstorm, Glyde stopped for a moment. For safety’s sake, he drew up his hood, tightening it on his face. Having some time to spare in what ultimately amounted to a veil of protection from his opponents. It was there that he felt something strange at work within the storm; something dark and powerful enticing it to move and grow in intensity. Tapping into his Scanning ability, he could tell with clarity that there was another person present, and not very far off. “Let’s see who else is here,” he muttered.

With a wave of his hand, he cast a spell circle, his Dimensional Shift circle to exact, creating a portal. He stepped through the portal. On the other side, he arrived about fifty feet behind what appeared to be a woman observing the battle. He could feel that she possessed a power capable of manipulating the sandstorm. The Keybearer wasted no words, but simply raised his Keyblade and fired a series of three shots at the woman’s back.

  14. Harumi watched as the Swordsman retaliated against the Keybearer, ending his tirade with a massive shockwave. As soon as Harumi saw the force coming toward her, she turned tail and ran as fast as she could. Having less than a second to spare, she leapt onto a rock and attempted to propel herself into a flip. However, the shockwave caught her too soon, and caused her to fly through the air uncontrollably. Just before she landed, Harumi flipped herself so that she was upright; as soon as her feet hit the ground, she performed a forward roll, but still had so much momentum that she continued tumbling wildly until she finally skid to a stop.

The sandstorm raged as wisps of battering sand and bolts of purple lighting struck around the form of the Gunblade-wielder.

"Ugh..." Harumi grunted, her damaged shoulder in an immense amount of pain. She laid there on the ground for a moment, nursing her wound. It was in this moment that she felt the unwelcome touch of an enemy; her body immediately jolted as she realized two odd-looking creatures were carrying her into the air. "H-huh?! Get the hell off of me!!" Harumi yelped as she swung at one of the creatures. It was then she realized that her hand was empty, and that she had dropped her Gunblade in the heat of her crash-landing. Slowly, Harumi was pulled upward, until finally she shrieked with anger.

    "I SAID put me DOWN!!"

Harumi's hands tightened into fists, making powerful electrical currents reverberate in the sandstorm above. "Thunder!" Harumi yelled, as two iridescent purple/yellow bolts flew out of the sky and down toward the creatures, frying them thoroughly and causing them to drop Harumi. Before she had time to think about how the sandstorm had boosted her Thunder, Harumi realized she was falling from about 15' in the air. With the nearby boulders having all been destroyed, she had no choice but to brace for impact. As she hit the ground she again threw herself into a forward roll, this time executing it perfectly, kicking out of the tumble and into a standing position. She quickly ran and grabbed her Gunblade, going over it to make sure it was undamaged.

At this point, Harumi's adrenaline was full-blast. Though she was hurt, both from the Keybearer's attack and the shockwave, she was ready for action. She quickly looked around to get a visual on the other fighters. The sandstorm was raging, making it hard to see, but Harumi could distinctly see the shape of a person entering a colorful disk of light. A portal, Harumi thought. Then a feeling of apprehension shot through her. That bastard isn't running away, is he?! Harumi ran forward in attempt to stop the Keybearer, but it was far too late. Instead, this put her within visual distance of the Swordsman. Harumi stopped abruptly and entered a fighting stance, Gunblade held slightly above waist level pointed at the enemy's face, other hand poised to react in any number of ways.

"Are you the one that caused that shockwave?" Harumi asked stern but cautiously. "Are you my enemy, or my ally? Choose now." Harumi cocked her Gunblade.

Ace turned to the gunblade wielder and scoffed, "My only enemy is that Key wielding bastard. You were just in the way, that's all..." He raised his arm in front of his face and closed his hand into a fist, where a golden triangle appeared out of nowhere. Ace turned to the whirlwind and roared, "HRRRRRAAAARRRRR!" Out of his fist came massive waves of glowing flames, which quickly began overpowering the force of the storm. Ace smiled and shouted up, "Come down here you two! I can sense you both!"

The waves of fire released from his hand completely overpowered the storm and turned it into a massive tornado of fire, in which Ace was now in the center of. He smirked and unleashed another wave which pushed the sorceress and the key wielder out of the storm. "Hyaaagh!" Ace yelled again as he once more slammed his fist into the ground, though this time the shockwave was enhanced by the firestorm, and though the storm diminished, the shock, or now, flamewave, closed in on the other fighters.

    Ace smirked, "Check."

  16. EtherealSummoner

    EtherealSummoner Lamentations 3:22-26

"So, you made the decision to come to me."

Nerissa felt his presence and lifted up her staff to start spinning, reflecting the shots up into the air.

"Hm... how bold for you to find the will to make it here. Is a shame to fight against insects such as them, no? Now what do you want to do? Battle me in the air, in the spirit realm, on land; in the deepest parts of the earth to the grave, however you deem fit. Your soul is on the line for survival. Now, choose. Hm?"

The sorceress turned around to see that the Triiforce user sent flames at her sandstorm, adding firepower to it.

"So he decided to try and take this down? Very well."

The sorceress lifted up her stave as her eyes glowed purple, still having more control over the sandstorm. Once the Triforce of Power wielder sent in another wave of flames, she was preparing for it to come in and hit the sandstorm. Soon, the sky darkened so much and smoke was coming out. "Now for you to taste chaos."

The flames turned jet black and she put her mental energy into the storm, causing it to dissipate and cause an explosion. Several rounds of dark thunder bolts, dark orbs and pitch black flames were going in every directions (I was thinking fifty each since I had my character inside the sandstorm for a long while) and they all fell to the ground, making a deep and wide hole into the crater of the world. As Nerissa was falling with her dress floating, she changed her stave, splitting it in two as it was glimmering in emerald sparkles. Soon, she had two dual swords in both of her hands and had her eyes set on the Keyblade Wielder as she was ready to attack.

"No interference for a while. Now, shall we dance? Hopefully my tactic will make me victorious if you prove me right."

Nerissa eventually starts to spin and landed on the ground in the newly made crater that she made, pinting her dual swords at the man to do battle.

Greetings. I will be your judge for today. Exits are to the back and at the sides of the plane, and please make sure your chairs are upright for takeoff and landing. Thank you for flying Air Mog.

Strike for rather poor showmanship. While it may seem valid in some contexts, in this particular context his speed isn't really defined. I see that in his profile he is lacking a top speed or any such thing, so this comes off a little power-playey.

Strike for "controlling sandstorms". Just because you have psychic powers, does not mean you can control a massive freak weather pattern consisting of strong winds and a trillion, billion grains of sand and dust. Had she said, "I can use this to my advantage" and then proceeded to wait for this, then this post would have been valid. I can only assume that the sandstorms would have been heading to the battlefield anyways.

Strike for ignoring Glyde's immediate shot after the barrier dispersed.

Still unneccessary use of power, controlling the sandstorm. Also, highly unlikely use of psychic bullets, given the fact that the sandstorm would be unpredictable in its movement, and thus send the bullets in any old direction. Also sandstorms do not work the same way as hurricanes. They don't spin around and around.. Strike.

Strike because, while you do say shard manipulation in the bio, it doesn't really tell me to what extent. It's a little unclear as to the full capacity of these orbs and their abilities.

    What invincibility period? Strike.

The only thing in his abilities list that mentions any such thing is "Ace in the Hole."

IT IS NOT THE SAME THING AS A HURRCANE. But sandstorms do have much electrical-type stuff associated with them, so half a strike. And then another half for not trying to take over a goddamn sandstorm with dark magic. So a full strike, in two parts.

Glyde moved way away by this point. This plays into the whole "undefined speed thing" in his bio, btdubs.

Strike for getting the order of events wrong (It was orb and THEN the stream). Another strike for using a shockwave attack that ISN'T IN YOUR MOVESET. A third for thinking sandstorms work the same as hurricanes.

Her controlling the storm is only slightly more plausible because of the electricity. But SANDSTORMS AREN'T HURRCANES OR TORNADOS. THEY DO NOT SUCK PEOPLE IN. STTTRRRRIKKKUUUUU

Not sure if strike worthy, but would the scan work with so much magic and electricity around?

NOT A HURRICANE OR TORNADO. Also, the fire would be extinguished by the sand. Also, totally OP.

Yeah, she should actually be dead because there wasn't any time for her to react to a sudden teleport.

So, the tally is, Ace and Whatsherface may be executed in whatever fashion, but Harumi is the victor of this battle. For not making a single blunder the entire round.

Also, nobody used a single keyblade from the arena. What up wit dat?

Still, Glyde should probably see those after executing the sorceress and flameboy and be all like "AMGWTF" and the Harumi should be all like "I shewt u nao pew pew" and then glyde is all like "oh noes I am shot i must teleport" and then teleports.

but feel free to wrap this up in whatever fashion you wish. FINISH THEM.

    1. Ace's speed is defined in his actual profile, Wayward knows this.
    2. I discussed other moves for Ace with Wayward. He approved.
    3. In Zelda, you're immune to all attacks during Din's Fire. It carried over.
    4. Beam was in face, head on, orb was slow and at a distance. Beam hit him first.

You mean the profile you didn't link here, and instead left nothing more than a skillset on page 3? How about the one in "Modern Legend of Zelda?" Because neither have speed.

And I judged based on what I knew.

And the thing about Din's fire needs to be IN YOUR PROFILE. I don't know diddly squat about the extent of Zelda magic.

And the orb was at close range, and the stream was the trap at longer range. The stream, being a beam attack, travels quickly. The orb, being a contact attack, appeared to be dependent on how quickly Glyde could move it. In any case, you're still wrong.

*Facepalm* I don't really care. I just wanted to participate for fun, Wayward said nothing about there being a judge and Moog, this is a 3 vs 1 and not a free-for-all and in the case of Wayward, does he want to continue with this or not?
