Guys, do you remember when this place had drama. Man, those were good times.Okay, I suppose you guys don't remember Trio, (@Taboo Sho probably does), so let me give you guys some back story. Dude was obsessed with me. He literally changed his name to DarkAngel to get closer to me or whatever but that's a little later. Trio has the worst grammar ever and has some issues. I believe @Destiny ultimately banned him because of his nonsense. Anyway, he roleplay everything, more on this in a minute. So Trio dated a young girl on this site. He was way older (supposedly). The girl contacted me because she wanted me to break up with him for her. Normally, I wouldn't have gotten involved in such nonsense, but me being youthful, and Trio being older and "crazy", he would make up stories like being chased by the police and stuff like that, I decided to get involved. I talked to Trio and it didn't go well. Here's an example:

After this incident the dude calms down and becomes my "best friend" again. Then he tells me "Can you keep a secret". He then proceeds to tell me that he is having an affair with another girl on the site, which blows my mind! It turns out to be true. I don't know what qualities make this dude attractive but whatever he had was working. I don't know what became of all of this before Destiny banned him for pretending to be someone else. I think he was pretending to be his cousin who was using his account, but later I find out that dude was roleplaying dates with these girls and let's just say some of it was NSFW.

Anyway, I miss the guy, nonsense and all. I enjoyed the messy storm that was Trio.

EDIT: Eh, he was banned for lieing and was told to stop. Not a big deal, so lifted.

I believe we do better when we have someone to focus on. It's so boring when "everyone" does right. :O

Oh yeah, I don't remember too much about @demon of darkness but he was one of the people who internet dated on here.

Looking at your avatar, I thought about @Aqua Fresh. She was awesome. I think everyone literally loved that girl.

 

I miss EbeneezerAl. I knew him for years online even before the creation of this site, and he was kind, which is pretty much my highest recommendation. XD I've not been particularly close to anyone since he left. We haven't talked in a long time, but I still think it would be nice if he happened back by here some day.

I also miss Mike. Mike was so incredibly smart, I think his posts made everyone else smarter. He was invaluable in debates, and I enjoyed his take on things, even if I didn't always agree with him.

I third the mention of PurpleDiamond/Napoleon, who are the same person (ugh, name changes). I always thought she was pretty cool.

And I too miss the drama. I miss getting to snark at some of the grade A idiots we've had over the years, and some of the drama they've brought was highly imaginative. I think the worst of demon of darkness was during my hiatus from the site, but I remember someone, probably @Vox, filling me in on some of that craziness later, and I think he popped up again under a couple other usernames while I was here. Reonarudo Butsuchiru and Sephiroth X Slasher (possibly also the same people; I can't remember anymore) were other ones who did the multiple user accounts/stir up some drama thing.

There are probably other people I'm forgetting about, so I might think on this some more. I have never been very friendly with people, so probably most are a "admire from afar" sort of thing. Betty Boop would fall under that category- I always enjoyed talking about Final Fantasy with her, but I don't think I ever as much as PMed her. *shrugs*

 

I don't remember drama involving Autopsy, but I do remember that she did beautiful graphics work that I could never seem to emulate no matter how hard I tried. I suppose I can remember her being a bit of a hard ass in the graphics section, and not having a lot of patience for people who ripped artwork or didn't follow the rules, but I was the same way, so I can't recall ever being bothered by her.

Of course, there's the member we all miss the most: TradeDemon. The destroyer of every site ever sold to him, he who never responded when members called to him, always went back on his word when he promised us new skins and forum updates, and disappeared for months at a time, then returned randomly to bitch because mods deleted threads and now Google can't find us. I just loved that guy.

 

Yeah, TD freaking sucks. He bought the site I came from before this one, finalfantasy.net, and drove it into the ground. Now, the site doesn't even have a forum- it just redirects to a section on KHI. Thousands of posts, and lots of nostalgia from my years on that site are gone (although, I suppose technically, they're probably archived if I really wanted to go digging). And I think it was either him or a crony who bought the site I came from before that one and ran that one into the ground, too. The owner Lionheart just kept building and selling off forums, not giving a damn what TD did with them. This site got off light, because even though his lack of attention certainly didn't help matters, at least there was something left for Angel to buy.

Anyhow, I suppose this much deserved trashing of our former admin isn't really in the spirit of this thread. ^_^ Looking through the last pages of the Intro forum is a blast from the past. To pick out a few, I remember Riku and Flare being decent moderators and contributing a lot in their posts. I also remember being fond of Remedy, although it's not been so long ago that he was here. Oh, and Goldfish, too.

Also, I apparently welcomed Desert Warrior to the forum by telling him "Welcome. Follow the rules and don't be a noob", so you have to admit, my 'copy-paste' welcome I use nowadays is an improvement, @Taboo Sho .
