Do you have any pets? If so how many and what are they? This is kind of a pointless discussion but eh...

EDIT: If you don't, would you if you could?

I am currently the keeper of a wee little mouse that my friend initially planned to feed to her snake. But the snake wouldn't eat the live mouse, so she kept him and I adopted him.

I have a 17 year old Basenji Shepherd Mix, and a dog whose breed I don't recall off the top of my head, and a little kitty cat <3

So glad your mouse friend survived. lol What's his name?

I have two dogs but they live with my parents right now because my apartment isn't pet friendly.

    EDIT:

    Cats -_-

I have a dog (an 8 year old beagle) and three outdoor cats who I feed when they come around. I also am currently housing two of my classroom pets- a pair of guinea pigs.

I had a guinea pig for a while. I rescued her from a garage. She was a TON of maintenance though. Do your students take care of them?

Ha, no. I don't technically have a classroom, so I probably shouldn't have called them that- they live in the lobby by my desk. But the majority of the kids at my center are too young to do much in the way of pet care. My pigs are sort of messy- have to clean their cage out a lot, it feels- but for the most part I think they're pretty easy to care for. We have a lot of other pets in the classrooms (some birds, a bearded dragon, two geckos, hermit crabs, a chameleon, fish, and a gerbil), but those specific teachers are responsible for taking care of them, so I don't have much to do with them.

Between me and my friend, we agreed on Percy; he's pretty skittish, so we felt the name was appropriate.

I also, informally, gave him the surname "Littlefloof."

I like "Littlefloof" it sounds a lot like a nickname I almost gave my boxer when he was a puppy but my brother wouldn't have it.

I wish. Would have me a Sugar Glider (a.k.a Sugar Bear) and the both of us can eat all the fruits we want together! Had a cat and a fish once. Cat's name Dexter and the other one is Arthur.

I have a dog named Rocky, a Cat name Kitty, and 26 chickens. :) 7 of them are about two months old, and 2 are two weeks old. The other are fully grown.

Being presently without an animal companion, I've been tempted to take in one again in the near future.

I'm leaning towards adopting a hedgehog. Mostly because it seems like I can legitimately bond with a hedgehog, and they're pretty much as much as I can realistically make space for.

I have 3 other roommates, 2 of them with their own pets. One has 2 cats, the other a cat and a dog. I also have my cat, Miss Midnight, who is the most outgoing and social cat I have ever seen.
