    Do you think Nomura should've kept this original idea or do you prefer the used one and why?

    Never having played the game/s related to Xion, my opinion doesn't mean much, but from these quotes, I agree with the decision to change the story. I don't think it would have been a good idea to copy so closely a story arc and character already used in the series before.

    I'm a bit conflicted on it now myself. I hated the game for gameplay and story yet the manga did the story actually well. Speaking within the confines of the game itself though I think I'd still pick to have seen this original idea play out since I did not enjoy what I got and there's no certainty that it'd play out just like Repliku's story.
    Though I'm also of the opinion that since the handhelds came out the story has been nothing but repetition so I may be more welcome to it.

    I think that the Xion story shouldn't exist at all but it is what it is.

    How many times can you spin one character looking like another before it gets redundant.

    lol I can agree with this as well. Tbh even the whole trio thing is vastly overused to the point of redundancy. I mean did BBS or Days really need a trio?
