    you guys have sparked my interest enough for me to actually join the forum
    so run with me on this one:
    id like to state ahead of time that I dont hold any of this to fact at all

    what if the dark soldier is xenahorts heartless(aka ansem in KH1)?
    if you watch the trailer the DS comes out of xenahorts body basically, so it could be that he can separate his heart from his body ?

    there is a little bit of support from riku in this theory:
    rikus dark armor from after he fully accepted the darkness(and xenahorts heartless 'ansem') into his heart
    it is reminiscent of the dark soldier, why? possibly because its a physical representation of what KH1 ansem used to be?

    I have more on the subject but id rather read what you guys have to say, its much more interesting

    Id love to hear any theories/explanations to why Xenahorts heartless was the leader/ruler/king of hollow bastion/radiant garden, how he got there, and why he wants to be ansem so bad
    as a matter of fact, why does everyone want to be ansem!?!?

    Well, nothing that I can think of to prove that this isn't true...but to me, it just doesn't seem likely. Don't ask why, just a feeling. By the way, nice picture at the bottom. The best part being that it's true.

    ya i think your theory is right because the DS's armor looks a lot like riku's armor...

    I think he wanted to be Ansem so badly because Ansem was somehow the cause of all of the heartless.

    As a side note. Considering that Xemnas without the X spells Ansem, I just wanted to point out that Xehanort with out the X spells No Heart.

    Omg i feel stupid cuz i never saw that. lol But I think that part of your theory is right. the suits do match however if Master Xehanort is the original then that means that the heartless Ansem (kh1) could not be Xehanort the apprentice's heartless. In addition if the DS was the heartless then why did he not create a nobody at the same time as well. Not to mention the fact that the nobody would have had to look more like Xemnas would have to look more like Master Xeharnot.
