Ok Demon that's enough! This is more a discution rather than a neat debate. We are NOT going to discuss God commands vs. Gay rights. This should be a seperate thing.

My sis and I are most pleased that no one really debated against what we had to say. So whats next?

 

I just don't want to be punished by a gay president for marrying a woman. Because they will try to destroy marriage.

 

What about that now? I never said that you would be punished. I just want gays to be able to marry. It's only fair. If we can marry people we love, then why shouldn't they?

 

I like to go with the answer of "Life's not fair." Of course, I'm not really sure what to think about gays, so I prefer to not be asked about what I think.

I'm really iffy about it. There is what I've heard from religion, and then what may seem morally right, etc.

 

First of all, its not a mod fight. This was just a warning, nothing else. Don't push it Zerieth because, you have crossed the line more than a time. So, people.. keep it clean ok?

I don't think they will destroy it, as a matter affact, there is a small posibility that a president is gay. I don't see it very well.. but your right, anything can happen in this world.

 

But I heard the gay protesters in California were assualting straight couples, I don't want to be punished for who by a gay president for being straight.

 

So wait, you're the president is gay? I'm confused, but if gays get married, I don't think anyone's gonna get punished, though I do think that those people in California took it a little too far with the assaults, violence is never the way to get what you want.

 

Let's all just admit it, my state is pretty messed up. The people who supported No on Prop 8 are just being babies by trying to reverse it. What is the point of having a government run by the will of the majority if the majority's voice is ignored?

 

How can I be sure that I wont get punished. If they harm our churches and assault the straight couples, then how can I ever trust them?

I agree. This is a democracy after all.

 

Look if gay people have their marriges legalized, I doubt their gonna go around burning down churches and punching every straight person they see.

What!? That is not how all gay people think, I'll have you know that I have a lot of gay friends, who do not think straight people are crazy, if they thought I was crazy why would they be friends with me? Just because one or two gay people don't like straight people, doesn't mean you can say the whole gay population hates straight people.

Well that's not true either! Most gay people go to church too ya noe.

 

But have'nt they ever read that the bible clearly states that a man and a man should not be together?
