"Were here Chaos, We managed to slip into a cart that was headed for the palace, Shall we wait?" Sothe said in his mind hoping he had gotten the hang of mind communication,

Colm and Sothe had managed to smuggle themselves into the castle,
They had been devising a plan but decided to wait for Chaos to find out what was going on.

 

I was told not to let them get involved Matthew thought, moving 100% silently trough the forest. No one could her or sense him. His power as an Assassin assured this.

That's went he felt his seal go off.

"There in for a fright!" Matthew laughed as he heard Will's horse Neigh and start bucking.

"Matthew has done something.. But what?" Joshua asked Chaos

 

A hole opened up in the air above the gates of Drakonia, and Calvik floated out. His breath was still slightly ragged, and he could still feel Death's cold tendrils around him. The Rift sealed itself back up as soon as Calvik had exited, but the aura that it had taken to open up that hole still left it's marker. It was almost like a faint smell of blue roses. At least to Calvik. Each Death Mage's aura smelled differently from mage to mage, but you would know if another mage had been around, and what they used their magick for. A shiver ran up his spine as he slowly descended to the ground. Something felt familiar while he was there. Something ... not dark. Death was dark. Something evil. Something disgusting.
When he reached the ground, he slid his scythe back into its place on his back holster. At least it still felt light in his hands. Calvik was especially pleased with himself about that spell. It was a home-made spell that did not allow anyone other than himself to wield the scythe. The book no longer felt heavy either.
With a pleasantly cool smile on he started in towards Drakonia. Ready to forget that fissure, and what the event was that happened there. His stomach growled, so he set off for a tavern or an inn where he would be able to stay and eat for the rest of the day and the night.
In the back of his head, he thought he heard someone wail.

 

Mariana

Mariana heard a voice threw her prison door. She got up, and moved toward the voice. Her breath caught when she saw the gem in the stranger's hand. "And who might you be?"

Chaos

I'll be there with Josh in a moment. Oh, and if you see a guy with a white gem and a sythe. . .run. Fast.

Chaos looked to Josh. "I don't know, I won't be able to trace him, since I haven't spent a good deal of time with him."

"But, we have to get to Drakensburg. We'll find Natasha's killer there, along with my own mission." Chaos closed his eyes for a moment. He went to Josh, and took his hands. He turned opened his palms, and faced them downward. Then he took his hands, palms up, under Josh's "Don't move, I'll get us to Sothe instantly."

"Nous porter à mon endroit désiré."

Chaos felt the air around him vibrate, and flux. Warmth surrounded him and Josh, and a moment later, he opened his eyes to find Josh. They were just feet from Sothe and Colm.

 

"I'm here to break you out," Aven replied, "I stole this gem from somebody. It's got the soul of somebody who is powerful with magic. It can strengthen you enough to break out. And my name is Aven."

 

When Josh felt himself in real time again he open his eyes. He instantly felt Natasha

"She's HERE!" He said eye wide and frantic

 

"Chaos, Joshua when did you get here?" Sothe asked

 

"A second ago." Joshua said, still eyeing the area.. "I'm going in. I can feel Natasha's power..."

 

As Calvik strolled the beautiful streets of Drakonia, he felt his head throb. It was only a slight pain, but enough to be noticed. The sound of his wooden shoes made a "click click" sound as he turned down a nearby alley way. His amber eyes scanned up and down the walls that made the strange looking houses that sat ontop of one another. He thought it was no way to live. When he exited the side street he say a most spectacular scene. Strange buildings reminded him of the Mage's Tower. Tall towering white plastered stone structers that spirialed upwards into the sky. The famous Dragon Spires.
Calvik wondered just how far he would be able to see if he stood atop the point of one of those spires and then quickly shook himself. He had to focus. Why was there a buzzing noise that sounded like it was coming from inside his head?

 

Will was walking through the strrets of Drakonia when he saw a man with a large sythe.

Mariana

Mariana felt the soul pulsing within the gem. It was connected to his sythe.

"So, Aven was it? Are you holding that soul hostage?" Mariana back up a step. "Wait, I should be asking, why are you rescuing me?"

Chaos

Chaos looked at Sothe. "An instant transport." He turned to Josh, "Yes Josh, she is here, but if you go running off--" Chaos pulled sothe back by his shirt, "--you're gonna die too."

Still holding onto Josh as he struggled to get free, he turned back to Sothe. "Now then, shall we?"

Chaise

Tourias was walking through the streets with his First Guard, Chaise, when he felt a dark, overwhelming power near him. There was a strange throbbing in his head, as his heart began beating with the nearby power.

"Chaise, go back to the castle, to Queen Mariana's chambre. If you find any intruders, kill them."

Chaise, just over 6 feet in height, was a master of sword and dagger. His jet black hair fell down to his waist, and hung freely. His armour was of the finest Drakonian Steel, an alloy of iron and Ivanian Silver. It was bright with an otherworldly glow, a pale blue from the moonlight. He carried a longsword on his left side, and a small dagger on his right. His eyes were a perfect ice blue. He looked very young for his experience, but none knew his true age.

Chaise despised Tourias with a fervent passion. It was his greatest desire to end the old fool's life. As Chaise turned to go back to the castle, he said nothing to his master. He hated killing as much as the maggot King, but orders were orders.

"Yes lets" Sothe said loosing Chaos grip on his shirt,

"Whats the plan" Colm asked

 

Calvik snapped himself out of his trance. His head was starting to hurt again. Sighing he spoke gently, "We are Death itself. We indulge in chaos pure. We are destruction." Blinking he stopped for a moment to reflect on his words, then produced a small journal from inside his shirt pocket. Attached to the small journal was a writing pen. After rummaging for some ink and finding it, he scribbled the words into the journal. Smirking to himself he stowed the ink and journal away. He started for the towers, as if being pulled unconsciously towards them. While his wooden shoes made their gentle rhythm against the cobble stone path, Calvik began humming "Courting with the Morning."

 

Will and Ariana stepped towards them. "Hello." She said, a glowing sword in a sheath on her belt.

 

>Curtis, are you walking up to Calvik?<

 

>No, chaos<

 

Chaos

"Well, Colm, we'd best start--" Chaos looked to his right to see Will with a strange woman.

"Um. . .when in the bloody hell did you get here? Wait, how in the bloody hell did you get here?"

Chaos shook his head, "You know what, nevermind. We have a mission to complete here, so if you would excuse us."

You know Will, sometimes, you should realize when someone's trying to protect you. Your services come after we rescue said Queen.

Tourias

Tourias walked toward the pulsing sound, only to find a small boy with a scythe.

"Excuse me, boy. But what do you think you're doing in the streets this late at night?"

Tourias reached to grab the child. . .

 

Will shrugged. "I thought you could use a level thirteen magic user and a level 31 magic user."

 

Chaos

All the same Will. I don't want you getting hurt, or in the way. And as of now, you would. Please, both of you, go. I don't want you getting killed.

 

Will shrugged. "Death is a small price to pay for the repentance of my sins."
