That's true. I would probably do ok up until my Japan trip in like July 2010. I became much less active after that.

I think that's about the time I started taking the reigns a little more, actually. We had some damn good writers back then; leagues better than I gave them credit for at the time.

I'm still somewhat in contact with Moog, actually. Or rather, I have a good sense of where I can find him these days, assuming his current haunt is the same. Zerieth was still sort of around back then; though he was trying to get his own site going. I recall Keyblade Master Roxas had a lot going for him. I believe Destiny (I think she was KairiStar back then?) had just come back around that time as well.

At least, those are the heads I remember most clearly.

oh Destiny lol She and I had a lot of creative differences but she was pretty good. Oathkeeper, DoD, Curtis, and Kairu were pretty good as well.

Who was DoD again? I never really worked with those folks. Though I am aware of their abilities.

On a somewhat related note, I feel the need to ask, about how long have been RPing for? Or rather, how long ago did you start?

My first roleplay was on Quizilla... back when that was a thing... in like 2007. XD but I wasn't any good until KHP so officially probably 7-9 years

I pin my official start as being in March of 2009 when I joined a battle thread on KHI... and proceeded to get my ass kicked, by one of the most respected vets of their site no less.

But I kind of warmed up about three months before that when I started posting (what I now consider BS) self-made character on a Dragon Ball forum. I might have RP'd there, but it wasn't really that big with them; at least, not big enough to get involved right away, though I did participate in a battle there somewhere in the 2010 ballpark.

I've been around several places since then.

I tried to do other forums but KHP was always my favorite. Had more in common with the players here. The only other one I can think of that anything good came out of was a dying Zelda forum who's members all come here anyway lol

I'm considering making a thread about this.

I was thinking of doin the same thing, actually. I almost wrote one up earlier this afternoon before hitting the gym and going to work. But then I was like "I'm gonna feel really awkward if no one responds to this." lol. That and I knew I wouldn't be able to keep my schedule if I tried to post it then.

But yeah. This is definitely one of the places that resonated with me once I got involved. Between here, KHI and a place called roleplayerguild, was pretty much the prime of my RPing life. And all three have been unique experiences.

I've actually been getting super nostalgic lately. Like to the point that I'm on the verge of revisiting some old ideas and characters of mine.

Mayne I'll get around to it tomorrow if you haven't already lol. Trust me I'm there too. Two of my three characters in this RP are based on old characters

So, a general thread discussing the beginnings of everyone's RP journeys? Or maybe a broader reflection on our experiences?

The thing with me is I can be very finicky about the RPS I use certain characters in. Like, I'd prefer to keep them within their proper universe as often as possible.

Right now my top priority in that regard is giving one of my OC Keybearers a proper RP to develop through. At least to a certain point.
