Will smiled at her. "You mean talent like this?" Will asked her, backflipping away from the group. He called on the element of fire and shot into the air, then he used Ice and made an entire blizzard. He looked down to see if she was impressed. Finally he shot a fireball the size of a church into the main place where he had started the blizzard, causing it to dissapate. He landed in front of her and said to Matt, "I heard what you said and I am not a nerd."Then he dropped back to one knee in front of her.

Natasha smiled, Flicking him in the forhead she watched him clapse to the floor in pain.

"I'll be impressed when you can do somthing higher than level 3 magic without clapsing with exhaugistion. First rule. Try to show off again I dismiss you.. Its getting late. Were going to find a inn to rest. Meet you here sharp at sunrise, Goodnight. And rest well. You need all the energy you can source."

Will stood up, shaken that the girl took all of the energy away from him with a simple, meager blow. "Can I come with you?" Will asked, embarressed that he had to ask.

Matthew sighed mumbling "No you nerd" But Joshua actual answered the question as Natasha had already walked away

"Yes but you'll be bunking in with Matt."

 

"Thank you. I promise I won't do what I did here." Will said, streching and starting to follow the group. Thinking of the bar fight he started before ha had gone upstairs he mumbled. "I wish I didn't start that."

Chaos

Before the men could say anything, Chaos felt a rush of magic behind him.

He turned, suprised. Now isn't that a helluva thing? He thought to himself.

"Um, ignore that." He said, turning back to the others

 

Sothe annoyed at the fact that so many people had come to his 'rescue' grabed the keepers wrist and twisted it so he let go of him and had him in a subbmisson hold

"Put your weapon away" Sothe said to the man with the scythe, he was slightly impessed the keeper still held onto him.

"You will accept my pay and forget about the boy" Sothe said looking at the man.

"Ok,ok" the keeper said as Sothe released his wrist.

The keeper than mumbled something under his breath, Annoyed Sothe stole his and the keepers wallet and continued beside Colm

"I saw that Sothe" Colm smiled

 

Chaos

Annoyed at the whole thing, Chaos was cosidering just walking away. That's when he felt it. A distortion in his soul, his power warped into darkness.

Impossible, he thought, severely disturbed. Only one thing could-

His thought was cut off by three approaching guards, weapons drawn.

"You there! I saw you steal that man's wallet! You three are under arrest!"

Dammit to hell. . . Chaos thought. Leave it to curiosity to kill the idiot.

Tourias

Tourias awoke the next morning, feeling weak. Must still be dark. He thought to himself. Over the three windows inside his chamber, were large, black curtains. They were very thick, and covered the entire window, letting no light in at all, even in broad daylight.

Tourias started to approach his window, but was forced to the ground by an unseen force. His face hit the ground, and knocked him out.

Tourias was dreaming. He hovered above the great world of Fantasia. The beauty was incredible. He saw the northern country of Silivas, covered in snow-peaked mountains. To the southeast, there was Drakonia. Endless plains as far as the eye could see. And to the southwest, Ivania. A marvelous forest, glowing with magic. And at the borders of the three, he saw the massive battlegrounds of wars long past. They formet a kind of Y shape. From here the battlegrounds were a dark grey.

Then, at the very center, where the three lines converged, there was a glowing light. It was growing, and cracks began to form within the center, reaching out through the battlegrounds. And from the center of the light, came a massive creature. He could only make out the head, and its glowing yellow eyes.

As he was trying to make out the rest, he awoke, in a cold sweat. He couldn't stand, and dragged himself back to his bed. Using his arms, he brought himself back up, and onto the bed.

At last, he thought, Finality Punishment draws near.

Mariana

Mariana awoke the next morning, in a cold sweat. Brooding over the dream she just awoke from. The creature, she knew it from somewhere. That head, and those eyes. Surely not. . .

Kyrian

Kyrian awoke, finding himself asleep at his desk. He was in a cold, drenching sweat. He shook his head, dazed. Just a dream. He thought, and walked back to his bed.

But he couldn't shake the feeling that it was important. Basking in his thoughts of the coming war. He was thinking about how he could get Mariana out of Tourias' grasp. I need someone fast, someone intellegent. If only there were some mercenary stupid enough to take the job. Basking in his thoughts, he finally fell asleep.

 

Sothe hearing the guards and what they said handed Colm the two wallets and his bag and said "Go stay in an inn close, this wont take long to handle, when its over and done with ill come find you"

"But Sothe" Colm was cut of in mid sentance as the guards yeld out again.

"Go Colm" Sothe said turning to face the guards.

Colm looked at Sothe and noticed he had a smile on his face, Realising He Sothe knew what he was doing Colm made off into the crowed and dissapered.

"Arrest that man and remove his weapon" The one guard said as two others locked his hands in shakels and pulled out his dagger.

 

Will woke up the next morning with a hangover, and a big one at that. He looked over and saw Matt awake. He asked him, "What did I do last night?"

 

Adam was staring at silvis thinking of the last time he was there and how the city seemed less beautiful now than it did then how it seemed a little tarnished when the deep growling voice of the dragon named Sigmond interupted his thoughts

"I thoughtyou said that you had a job to do? " sigmond said questioningly

"well maybe I lied." Adam replied jokingly

"Just hurry up and finish your job so we can leave this place, it gives me a bad feeling." said Sigmond

"ok just stay here untill I come back or I call you ok." Adam said walking towards the city.

Sigmund called after him "be careful."

"OK" Adam called back.

Tom watched the guards go after Sothe and Chaos. "Hmm... Naw, they can help themselves."

Chaos

And this is what I get for my damn curiosity. . . He couldn't help but laugh.

"The hell are you lauging about?!" The guard shouted, as he placed Chaos in the shackles.

He looked at the guard, feeling his attitude flare. "I was lauging at your hairy face!" Chaos laughed again.

"Silence you fool!" The guard backhanded Chaos.

Think I'll just keep quiet now. It'd been awhile since Chaos had let the darkness take even a slight hold on him. Best not to let it fester.

He looked over to the other man being arrested. Using Excalibur, he saw into the man's mind. Sothe. . .he could be an interesting ally.

"Hey stranger, what's your name?" He asked Sothe.

Before Sothe could answer, the guard interrupted.

"Page! Send a message to His Majesty! Tell him we have two thieves for sentencing!" The page ran toward the castle.

"You were saying?" Chaos turned back to the stranger.

Kyrian

Kyrian was sitting in on his throne, taking civilian petitions when the guards bargged in, a page in tow.

"Your Majesty, we have news from this page that two thieves are being brought in for sentencing."

Kyrian sighed. "Fine, when they arrive send them in."

Kyrian felt a cold shudder in his back, and grew nervous. This my not bode well.

 

Matt looked at Will and mumbled. "Natasha isn't mentoring you, sorry man.. Its already 2 P.M. I was just left here to give you the message, they've moved on to the next town"

 

"Shit, I've wasted my only chance..." Will's voice died down. He looked up at Matt. "I just wanted to learn to help save Silvas from the coming war." He said to him, sadness in his voice.

 

Sothe looked toward the second man been arrested,

"Sothe" He said.

"Yours" He asked in return

The guards yanked on the chain pulling Sothe along the road, He found it annoying having the shackles around his wrish so he quite easily picked the locks and held them in each hand.

"Your going straight to the King for punishment" one guard said sneering at the two men.

 

Tom thought to himself, "As much faith as I have in Sothe, I should tell his friend," Then he looked around himself, "Hey, they stole one of my wallets." He pulls out another, "Good thing I have an emergency one." He then headed off to find Colm.

 

"Oh well" He said grining at the boy. At least now he didnt have to babysit anymore. He walked out the inn paying the girl at the front desk.

As he left the room somthing he saw shocked him.. A man ruuing, with blue hair? blue cloke?

"COLM?" he called after the man

 

Chaos

Chaos hesitated, wondering if he should use an alias. He decided not.

"Chaos." He noticed the removed shackles. Interesting. . .

His senses were still muddled, and his darkness was starting to take hold.
Control Chaos, keep it under control. . . It was taking all he had.

Kyrian

Kyrian saw the guard, along with the two men approaching.

"Your Majesty, we've brought the two thieves." The guards backed away.

"You, blond one! State your name!" Kyrian could swear this man felt very familiar. Suddenly, his dream came back to him. Why do I feel I know this man? Strange. . .

"My name is Chaos, your Majesty." The man looked up, letting his hair shield his eyes. "And this is my partner, Sothe. We are but lowly mercenaries, looking for a hire, and stumbled onto that misunderstanding."

"Misunderstanding? I was told you stole from a shopkeeper. What is misunderstandable? Are you saying you aren't guilty?"

Chaos

Chaos was slowly working toward the hire. He could keep both Sothe and himself alive. Along with Sothe's companion, so long as he stays hidden or joins as well.

"Yes your Majesty, this was nothing more than a mistake." Chaos lifted his head, looking into the king's eyes. Using Excalibur, he saw into the king's mind. Kyrian. . .yes, I see a perfect way out. He spoke into Sothe's mind, knowing he could trust this man. Don't be alarmed Sothe, I'm going to get us out of this, but I'll need your help.

"But with all due respect my king, I believe you are in need of an infiltration team of sorts?"

Kyrian rose to his feet. "How could you possible know about that?"

"I know many things your Majesty, all I have to offer is my life, and the life of my partner." Chaos rose, his right hand out, palm up. A sign of peace, and offering. "In exchange for our freedom afterward, we will rescue your *ahem* target for you."

Kyrian walked forward, and turned to Sothe. "GUARDS!" seven guards entered the throne room.

"Kill the man bowing" Kyrian grinned.

Sothe, stand, and show him what you can do. I'll bless you with power. You'll win, easy.
