Staff RP- House Of Dreams. OOC

Fablewood is a secret nature preserve protecting the beings of myth and legend from the outside world. The current caretaker,---------, describes it as "a refuge for mystical creatures". Those who live in this large sanctuary, mortal and magical, must abide by a treaty of rules. The most common rules are focused upon "the law of the harvest" or "the law of retribution" meaning, you reap what you sow. If the law of retribution is broken, it allows for retaliation. There also exist magical borders that keep most magical creatures out of certain domains. The caretaker's house and grounds are within one of these protective boundaries. However, some of these borders dissolve on certain nights, allowing frightening creatures to roam free on the grounds.

After a particularly devastating event which left 3 dead, The Caretaker has no option but to hire two more workers. The two who he has selected are family of his. But theirs a catch. He cannot tell them that the preserve is magical. Somehow they must find out alone, and as the only way for the many beautiful creatures and butterflies to reveal themselves, is by drinking the water from the Naiad's pond.

Brownies-
Brownies are creatures that look like humans, with the exception that they are much smaller. Brownies fix things that are broken, improving them where possible. Also, when ingredients are left out, they will bake something delicious, although they always attempt to make it into a dessert.

Centaur-
Strong and intelligent beings that are part horse, and part man. They are portrayed as being very noble and prideful.

Demon-
One of the most powerful magical creatures.
 Bahumat - A monster that stands three times as tall as a man, with the head of a dragon crowned with three horns. He has three arms, three legs and three tails. He has oily black scales with bristly spikes. He is able to emit a wave of darkness to blind his foes, and has a deafening roar.
 Graulus - An ancient demon who was once one of the most feared demons in the world, but is now long past his prime. He basically made Fableward his home to await death. He radiates magical fear, and has the ability to see almost anything on the preserve.
 Kurisock - A demon more of shadow than substance, perhaps the least is known of him, other than being confined to his layer, which is a cursed tar pit far into the preserve. To interact with the material world he binds himself to a host, giving the host greater power.
 Olloch - Also known as Olloch the Glutton. A frog-like monster with several flailing tongues and an insatiable appetite. If someone makes the mistake of feeding the dormant statue, Olloch will bite the feeder and eventually devour them. As he eats, he grows in size and power.

Dragon-
Large, powerful and intelligent winged reptiles.

Dryads-
Wood Nymphs, who live in the forest and dress in flowing atumnal robes. They are described as nimble, very tall (7 feet and up) and can run swiftly through the trees.

Dwarves-
Short people who live underground and keep to themselves. Some of them, wielding large hammers, also fight in the battle between light and dark creature.

Fairies-
These magical creatures resemble tiny females with wings. They emit a gleaming light, and love their own reflection. The Fairy Queen has a shrine in a Tower in the far west of Fablewood

Fog Giants-
A type of giant that lives in the swampy areas of Fablewood. They are described as powerful, brutal and blood thirsty, but also slightly dim-witted and slow.

Gargoyles-
Gargoyles are large winged monsters.

Goblins-
Goblins are big scary creatures that are evil.

Golem-
An creature made out of natural materials and given life by a powerful spell. They are typically servants who always obey their master.

Hamadryads-
Related to Dryads, only more closely tied to a specific tree, such that if the tree died, the hamadryad also died.

Imps-
Imps are fairies who have been captured and kept inside over night. Also considered a Fallen Fairy. They are evil, and hold terrible grudges. They hate the fact they aren’t Beautiful anymore.

Jinn-
A Genie.

A creature that is part man, part bull.

Naiads-
Or Water Nymphs. Beings that live underwater who live a life of mirth and frivolity. They dwell in the pond surrounding the Fairy Queen's Island Shrine. The Naiads love to make fun of anyone else, and drown humans for fun.

Nipsies-
Nipsies are related to brownies, but are only a quarter inch tall. They live in seven kingdoms and build their cities using natural resources. They have little magical ability, but they adept at cultivating poisonous plants to protect their domain.

Nymphs-
Immortal beings in human female form. The types of Nymphs found in Fablewood are Dryads, Hamadryads, and Naiads. Although its said theirs many different types


Pixie-
Pixies are a type of fairy Pixies shed their wings at the onset of winter. They make a cocoon to protect them and emerge from them in the spring with a new set of wings. These cocoons have a high magic potency

Satyrs-
Satyrs are part goat, part human creatures. They live fun and frivolous lives. They make parties more exciting, play tennis, and trade gold for misc items.

Sprites-
Related to Fairies. Umite Sprites dwell in hive-like communities in rain forests around the world. They make honey and wax like bees. Their wax has high magic potency.

Swamp Hag-
Found in the bogs and swamps of Fablewood, swamp hags some times create false paths to lure traveers toword them.

Trolls-
Trolls are unfriendly creatures that live in the forest, in caves or underground.

Witches-
Women with powerful magical abilites

Wizards/Warlocks-
Men with powerful magical abilities.

Wizard's Slime-
A creature resembling leech. Effective in extracting poison from infected tissue.




The two buildings in the center of the map are the caretaker's house, and the storage barn. In the around uninhabited by tree's directly surrounding it, plays host to the Fairies and Pixies, who have made it into a beautiful Garden.

The Castle in the east, was the old Caretakers mansion. But after a event 100 years ago it fell to a powerful demon called Bahumtt. No one has been their since.

To the east, inside the black line, is the Naiad pond. The building/island in the center is the Fairy Queen's Shrine.

The seven tower like things in the north is the Nipsies 7 kingdom's.

The mountains in the Northeast, Are where the other Demons dwell. Kurisock's Tar-pit is in the very center of it.

All the others creatures Bar the Centuars Roam freely around the forested part. Centuars have there own community in the far Northwest.

The Forest in the actual RP is bigger than it looks on the map.

Apperence- She is a beautiful 6ft tall, with long flowing blond hair. She has a slim waist, with just the right amount of curve. Her eyes are a holographic crystal blue, framed by naturally long, thick lashes. She often wears green dress's, with flower clips/rings decorating her hair and fingers. Her nails are perfectly manicured and painted a light pink. She doesn't wear shoe, sometimes she wears light faded pink slippers. Her complexion is a perfect fair colour, with a hint of gold. She has just the right amount of natural blush, And her lips are a faded cherry colour

History- Elle has been Maid at Fablewood for the last number years.She was wed to the first Caretaker. Originally She was a Hamadryad, dwelling in perfection teasing the feisty Satyrs. But when she met the Patton, the caretaker, she gave up her right to immortality to be with him. She ages significantly slower than a human. After Patton died, she decided to travel the world, as she longed to see things outside the boundaries of the small magical preserve.

After 250 Years of traveling the world she felt homesick and decided to come home and take back her position of the only Female Worker at Fablewood, excluding the Caretakers wife. When she returned she heard of the fall of the mansion during her absence. She also heard of the happenings of Midsummer's Eve that left 3 dead.

Despite not having any true magical abilities. She has an extensive knowledge of the magical world. She wrote 15 journal's of everything she knows about the magical world. The journals are hidden in the mansion. She doesn't need the water to see other magical creatures.
