J and the nun stepped outside. J looked at the Nun and said, "So what were you doing ealier?" The nun answered, "Oh I was moping the floor. I would like the help." J nodded and followed her to a hall way where he took a mop and started to help her mop. They were quite for the most part but then an older nun cam by and said, "Young lady get your hood up." The young nun put her hood hup and sobbed as the older nun walked off. She broke down and started to cry, "J, I hate this place she told him."

J looked confused, "Why?" She answered, "I am an orphan and well I had no choice but to come here but I hate being a nun." J for some reason felt a need to wrap his arms around her which he did.

The two were not far from Nicole's room and their conversation could be heard from her room.

 

Nicole sat there. She thought for a moment then got an idea.

"Ok listen to me J, tell her that you need to stand up to tehm, she's even allowed to come with us." Nicole told him telepathicly. She was on her side looking at Kairi sleeping. She turned on her back and looked at teh ceiling. She began to think her life through.

 

J nodded and walked with the nun to a older nun's office, "Ma'am I demand that you let this young girl dress as she please. She is being treated like a slave instead of a person." The nun stood up and slapped J causing his lips to bleed, "How dare you."

 

"How dare him, you don't look like Emma, I came here when I went through Confirmation and Emma was here. I do believe we're guest, and we're leaving now, including that girl." Nicole said. She was sitting in a wheel chair she found Kairi on her lap.

"Now remeber that word I taught you Kairi, go ahead and say it." Nicole said.

"Bye bye." Kairi said waving.

"Bye bye is right. Come on you two." Nicole said.

 

J nodded and he took the girls hand as they began to leave but before they could the older nun used her magic to place magic chains on J which began to starngle him. The younger nun pulled on the chains, "Oh no....stop it." She told the older nun but the older nun ignored the girl and stabbed her with a small knife, "Your blood must be spilled so you and the boy can be forgiven."

 

Nicole summoned her staff and blasted her with magic. She wheeled over and casted a cure spell on the girl healing her wound.

"Let my son go." Nicole ordered the nun. "Or else." Nicole said her eyes getting real serious. Her face was serious. She had her staff out and ready. She looked at the girl.

"You need to run to the old neighborhood." Nicole told her. Nicole casted a spell on Kairi to keep her protected.

 

The nun smiled and the chains tightened. J's bones cracked and then he was freed. He was shaking in pain, "Mom...." He whimpered. The younger nun said, "Oh no this is all my fault."

 

"We'll fix him up." Nicole said. She looked at the nun.

"is everyone else tortured here? You know anyone else? Go get them. We need to find Kate." Nicole said wheeling out putting J on her lap and had Kairi in teh chair next to her.

"She's here and ready to leave this prison." Kate said. She came to help out and fixed J's bones. She picked up Kairi and held her and pushed Nicole's wheel chair.

 

The younger nun looked at J and said, "Miss Nicole...I am so sorry. This was all my fault. If J had not been protecting me then he would not have gotten hurt." J looked up at her and said, "No...I wanted to help and I am glad that I could help." The younger nun blushed, she had never been treated so nice in her whole life. The young nun looked so happy and she had a very pretty smile.

 

Nicole smiled.

"Trust me you have no reason to fear with J. He's a good boy, he'll help whenever, he's also tough and when it comes to injuries, I'm on the job." Kate said. Nicole nodded in agrement.

"Trust me, considered welcome to our family, oh I don't think we ever got your name yet." Nicole said. They were outside wheeling down the abadnoned street. Nicole looked and saw hidden away was a cabin overlooking a lake.

"Kate turn here." Nicole said. Kate turned Nicole's wheelchair onto the smoked brick driveway, to a cabin in good shape, covered by trees. Kate walked up to the door and looked inside, it was abandoned.

"Do you think they'll mind us taking it?" Kate said looking at it.

"Everyong around is long gone." Nicole said. Kate nodded and wheeled them inside.

"Looks like we got a nice empty home. Luckily I know how to make furninture and stuff, I can fill this place up with nice furntiture in no time, as for now, we got nothing. I'll go to the tree house you had and get the little furniture there." Kate said leaving. Nicole rolled the wheel chair over to a corner and made a milk bottle appear and began feeding Kairi. She sucked on the bottle in a cute fasion.

"You two can go pick out a room, two seperate now." Nicole told them. She wheeled into a private study with a bathroom. She knew this would probaly become her's and Jesse's room. She opened a door to a basment, to her surprise there was furniture and it was finished, no one was still there though. She came to conclusion she'd let Kate have it then they'd split into a playroom and a living quarter for Kate. She looked down at Kairi. She rolled to the edge of the stairs.

"J! How many rooms are up there?" Nicole called up asking.

 

J walked to the stairs and said, "Three bedrooms, mom." The younger nun looked at Nicole and J, "My name is Lilly." She said in a soft tone. J looked at Nicole and said, "Hey mom, why can't me and Lilly stay in the same room?" He asked. Lilly giggled, she thought it was so funny how J was so naive. J was confused as to why she was laughing.

 

"Well you two are very young, and she's a girl and your a boy, one day you'll two will understand and need your own privacy and want your own space to escape to." Nicole told her. Kate walked in with stuff. She put sleeping beds in Lilly and J's rooms, the bed in the tree house in Nicole's room. Nicole told her about the basement. Kate nodded and headed downstairs. It was late at night where they were at. Nicole wheeled into the room and layed down completely exhausted. She laid Kairi down who fell asleep quickly. Nicole soon followed.

 

J laid down and thought about his father, he wondered if his dad was okay and then he thought about Lilly who made him have a weird feeling. He looked out the window and said, "Dad, come home soon. I need you to tell me what the heck I am feeling.'

Lilly laid down and whispered to herself, "That J boy is so sweet and really naive. It's kinda cute."

Jesse looked at Nomura and said, "We need you to convince the world's....." Suddenly the roof was blown off and Rovora appeared, "It's time that I take out the trash." He fired a blast at Nomura but Jesse blocked the attack with his sword.
