  1. Wayne Allwine who has performed the voice for Mickey Mouse for the pass 32 years sadly died on May 18, 2009 due to diabetes. He was 62 years old and has voiced Mickey Mouse for the past 32 years. He has voiced Mickey in all the past Kingdom Hearts games. He was only the third man to ever voice Mickey Mouse and he has voiced Mickey for the longest period of time.

He will be greatly missed by his fans, friends, and family. Please pray for his wife Russi Taylor who voices Minnie Mouse and her entire family.

EDIT: If i'm not mistaken I believe the last time he voiced mickey was when he voiced him in RE: Chain of Memories.

    Sorry to heard it.
I hope Disney will found someone that has similar voice to him so Kingdom Hearts 3 still continue! :D

  3. I'm not really concerned with the games right now. I'm sad because a man who brought joy to so many for so long has died and I feel bad for his family.

I'm sorry for Wayne's family. I don't think there's anyone who's better at doing Mickey's voice than him.

I liked that man, I shall surely miss him.

  7. I believe the last time he voiced Mickey was when he voiced him in RE: Chain of Memories back in December of 2008.

...... ALL THE OLD HEROES OF THIS WORLD ARE DYING! *sobs*

Letsee, Walt Disney, Hannah and Barbara, Wayne, the sports announcer of the Yankee stadium, all died within the last 10 years...

  9. Walt Disney did'nt die in that last 10 years. He died in like the 60's or 70's I think.

    Whoops.

I brushed over the post and missed him. *Facepalm*

Still, Disney has gone to seed without him.

  11. I agree. The 90's was when Disney was making amazing movies. However they are making a new animated film that is being directed by the director who made "The Little Mermaid" and "Alladin". This new movie comes out December 2009 and is called "The Princess and the Frog". Hopefully this will be the begining of more animated films like Disney made in the 90's.

Unless they find another Mickey voice actor, I guess they will use a recorder or something in order to have the voice be just like Mickey. :(

:/ R.I.P , i had the honor of meeting him once.

He has completed Days, so that shouldn't be a issue, and should not worry about pushing the games back at all, but still a horrible loss, His wife the voice of minnie mouse, was by his side, but i wish the best to her and the rest of his family

Ouch. such a large loss, sorry to hear of it. it must have been fun for him, though, voicing one of, if not the most famous cartoon character of all time.

So, what do you think they should do now? Should they do like what I had said in my last post?

i think they should, until they can find a guy to do as good as him.

Well you guys are making it seem like their are no other Micky VA's out there, He was just the BEST, and sort of the official mickey mouse voice, he didn't do everything mickey mouse did these past years. Do you know how tiring that would have gotten?

they wont need a spcial type of recorder or anything

just find another mickey voice actor, it can be simple or not simple, but they have alot of time until days is completed and ready here in the U.S

so we need not worry about something as small as a replacement voice,

    we just need to wait.

again R.I.P you were a good man and VA, and im sure Disney Will Miss You, As All the Fans Will

    No Mickey's gone.... :(

Well I feel bad for him and his family, he defnately will be missed, I know my old band director could do an awsome Donald Duck, so I'm sure they'll be able to find a new Mickey Mouse, hopefully, but I defnately will miss the same Mickey.
