Apple product help! (macbooks and ipod touches)

hi guys im looking to buy an ipod touch or a macbook.

ipod touch 64gb: i will have enough money for this by the end of june. but then like 3 months later a new version will come out. but tht one might not be able to get jailbroken...

so my questions are:

should i get the ipod when i get my money, or wait for the new model?

do you think the new model will be able to get jailbroken?



original macbook: cheapest model, looks good. stock, its already better performance wise than the lowest end pro. but i can still upgrade the ram to 4gb and HD space to 320, and its still cheaper than the pro.

macbook pro: looks great, little more pricey, more durable. if i upgrade the lowest end model to 4gb of ram and 250 gb HD its still $150 less then the next model. only difference is this one will have a 2.26GHz processor and tht one will have a 2.53GHz processor.

so my questions are:

should i go with the original model and upgrade it?

should i go with the lowest end pro and upgrade it?

do u think a step from a 2.26GHz to a 2.53GHz processor is worth the extra 150 bucks?

do u think there will be another deal where if i buy a macbook i get a free ipod touch again?

should i get the touch or the macbook first?
