    I don't think these are bad for a newbie. I agree with you that the text is not great. But I am not the right person to help with that, because I am horrible at text myself. I guess the best advice I could give concerning text would be that if you aren't sure if you like it, don't include it.

    Aside from that, I think you need to work on making the sig a complete whole. What I mean is that it's like you made a background and then put an image on top, when I think it would be better to layer the effects so that the renders are more integrated into the sig, and better blended into the backgrounds. Hopefully that makes sense.

    Well, just keep practicing.

    It's ok. It's not all mind blowing or anything but I wish that the beackground has more oomph in it.

    My two favourite would be the cloud and tifa one, like toph said try to blend your renders more. Also text could be improved although I think they sit well in the 2nd and 3rd.

    Just experiment with text I guess, perhaps explore a bigger range of font or text color.

    Pretty good although, I don't like the borders nor the text. You have skills, just practice, because these aren't the best. Just make sure your text blends in with your tag, and your border matches your tag, because overall everything needs to connect.

    You need to work more on foreground rather than so much background =]. Your renders have a tendency to seem as if they're standing in front of a picture.
