What do all of you think about Toy Story 3? Did anyone seen it? What did you like about the first two movies of Toy Story? Do anyone have a favorite character? :D:D I love the LGM's, Rex and Slinky.

I saw it Saturday night. I didn't expect it to be fantastic- because c'mon, Disney sequels are usually sucktastic, but I was pleasantly surprised with TS3. It was a little predictable, but there was a lot of humor, and I don't think I was the only one to get teared up (though I never actually cried) towards the end. If I had to pick a favorite character, I'd probably pick Lotso. Hilarious.

As for the other two, the first one was great. I remember being impressed with the animation, and the story was real sweet, characters were likeable, all that. The second one was okay, but not as good as the first. I think the third falls somewhere in the middle.

I have not seen the third one,but I like the first two.I want to see the third one eventually though.Need money of course.Gotta love Rex!

Also,Pixar, not Disney. While it is a part of Disney, its still different enough in my opinion.Of course, sequels in general can be pretty bad, more so it seems with alot of Disney stuff...but different conversation there.

Eh, they say Disney/Pixar, though I suppose you are right, and these movies fall more into the Pixar side of it. Still, there's no denying the usual Disney sequel fail, and Toy Story could have ended up right in there with Cinderella II, or The Little Mermaid II, or what-have-you. Luckily both TS sequels are solid.

If you find the money, I'd recommend seeing number 3.

Loved the movies and always will. When I was a kid I would watch it all day long and yell at my dad to replay it every 2 hours. I had my Woodie and Buzz toy. I loved the first two, and am really looking forward to seeing the 3rd.

I never was able to see TS3 but one preview on T.V. cracked me up when Woody was somewhere in some building and he ended up in the bathroom, trying to escape through the window. At the end, the janitor looked in the mirror and saw Woody alive and was shocked.

I eventually watched it (Toy Story 3). I really enjoyed it. To those who watched it, did you notice the Studio Ghibli cannon in it? And Andy's mum, was that a first? I haven't watched 1 or 2 in ages and I wondered if that's the first time seeing her. Also the hidden Mickey, I couldn't find it. Since Disney was involved, there should be a hidden Mickey logo in the film (and they are quite hard to find, mind you). And the ending, it meant something. I'd say but don't want to spoil >.<
Anyway, go watch it if you haven't.

    We've seen her before.

Here's a crappy quality avatar with her from the original:

And I think this one's from Toy Story 2:

I'm not familiar enough with Studio Ghibli (to my shame) to pick up on it, but it was pointed out in a review I read.

i loved number one, fav movie, but the third was too cool, not as good as the first, but i put it up there. Number two, ugh, didnt like it much. But i agree with u toph about getting teared up but not really cryin. (little spoil) At the end it just made me feel so sad and happy for some reason, cuz Woody did what he never wanted to. When he accepted it, it just made me cry inside, like i was sayin good bye too. I just thought it was the best ending i ever saw in a cartoon movie. loved it id give it a 100 out of 10. I'll admit it too even if this is a little kidish. When i went to see it, i even brought my Woody toy, the real one that first came out when the movie did. Yes i still have one and a buzz but there classics ya know.

I saw it in 2D as well, but I've heard the 3D is well done. Seeing how good the rest of the movie was, I wouldn't think Pixar would screw it up with some sucky 3D effects.
