    EtherealSummoner Lamentations 3:22-26

    Everyone must have a favorite weapon that is used to bash the enemies. Maybe it is the classical weapons like the sword and staff. Maybe the individual want o use weapons that have more meaning. Or maybe the person just want to use something that were never thought of to be used as a weapon. Vote about the type of weapon you tend to like and why! :D

    Well, I voted swords, because in general, I think they tend to inflict the most damage, and I like the classic look of them.

    But honors go to staves, which I think look pretty, and bows, which I like seeing the female characters use in particular, for some reason. They're just kind of badass without being all macho, I guess. >_<

    Lances/Spears.One of my favorite weapons,helps that many of my favortie characters use them.Kain,Cid VII,Fang,thats just a couple who have to use them.The Zodiac Spear is cool too,more so when you get it early.

    Swords are good too.Main weapon used by many main characters,and sometimes can be used by all.Staffs,Poles,Daggers,and Rods are ok,but Im not a big fan.Throwing weapons are ok.Instruments,depends.The status effects of some (Like many of IVs) can help sometimes,but IX doesnt do much.Though I love that Eiko summons by playing her flute.

    Whips....Lets just say Rydia and leave it at second place,k?

    Axes and Hammers are ok.Cinna was cool.But Im not a big fan.Moreso for Axes in XII.Sure,you can get high damage at teh begining and middle that you couldnt from others,but you could also get pathetic damage.Though i think I'll experiment once I get the game back.Might like em more.

    Bows,Crossbows,and Guns are ok.XII Guns were slow,but good up till the those final marks for me.Including the final boss in red.Yay doing regular damage even then!Bows are good with some characters,great for White Mages in low risk situations.Didnt get around to crossbows.

    Fists are good at early and middle for many games,but seem to lose the edge about halfway through the middle...yea.

    Maces,I got nothin.

    Never use Bombs from XII,for the Axe reasons.

    Throwing items (Shurikens,kunai,chuckin weapons,Gil) are powerful,and great for the final boss where all that extra stuff doesnt matter anymore.However,in regular battles they are alittle to powerful when introduced,causing me not to use it too much,then when they are useful,i want to save them for the bosses.But I like them.

    I really like the staff. Really improve the magical side and can back me up in defense. I also like the other weapons such as Rinoa's Blaster Edge or Lulu's possessed dolls. Then came the megaphone for Cait Sith. XD I WOULD LOVE TO USE IT AND YELL IT IN NICOLE'S EARS IF I SO CHOOSE TO EVEN HAVE ONE ON THIS SITE! I can just shout out orders whenever I want and still inflict pain.

    I really don't like the fists but form seeing Sorceress Edea use Astral Punch, I have to give it some props. I just can't find the reason as to why someone should use their knuckles against a machine.
