Curse of Chosen​

Every 100 years, people are chosen by the curse of Halloween. These people must go like their ancestors to find the heart of Halloween before his awakening, October 31. On the awakening the chosen if not able to get the heart of Halloween, they shall become the creatures they are and become slaves, one shall be chosen as his queen.​

My name is Maria, I was the last queen. I was human once, I was chosen along with my brother, his best friend, and his little brother. When chosen our mission was to get the heart to end the curse of the chosen and to kill Halloween once and for all. ​

Halloween is the god of the dead and nightmares. He is the brother of Hades, the god of the underworld. It is an untold myth lesson about Halloween. Halloween is stronger than his brother Hades and was meant to be the god of the underworld while Hades was to become a mortal. However Hades was able to find a way to put Halloween into a slumper. This slumber though created the world of nightmares. Here, Halloween rules and waits his awakening. During the awakening he chooses humans who die but don't go to the underworld, they go to the world of nightmares and become ghouls. Halloween can't live without a queen though. On halloween he also chose his queen and created the creature that she is. I am a vampire. Hades 1000 years ago stopped Halloween from choosing many wives and getting as many ghouls as he wished every year. Hades created the curse of the chosen and making Halloween wait longer for his time to get ghouls and his wife.​

Four mortals are chosen and fall into a deep sleep, during this deep sleep they awaken as their inner creature in the world of nightmares. Halloween send ghouls after you to try and stop you from finding his heart hidden somewhere in the nightmare world, it's not in his chest like you think. The heart must be stabbed with a holy wooden stake blessed by the gods, even Hades. This wooden stake is given to the leader of the group, our leader during my chosen was my brother. One of the chosen is also decided if they fail that she shall become queen. The chosen queen can't be made official queen until Halloween's officially awakening on October 31st. The journey starts the first day of October. ​

On that day, I, Queen Maria, nightmare shall end, I will die and get to move on in peace or join my brother as a ghoul. ​

It is your turn as the next generation of chosen mortals to fight Halloween and end his reign, you must find his heart and kill it putting an end to nightmares and ghouls, I pray that you will succeed and save the many mortals in the future.​

Basic idea is, this is a journey RP that will stretch accross the month of October. It needs to start by Tuesday October 5th, as is I was late to start this. The RP will end on October 31st no matter what position you're in in the RP, if the heart is found or not, it will also decide the conclusion. This RP will also follow real time. Though when the RP starts it will start on Oct. 1 with the chosen falling into deep slumper(more details on how to come later) then 5 days later awaken in the nightmare world, Maria will visit the chosen and her fate shall be decided if she will become a spirit traveling with the chosen, or a ghoul against the chosen. ​

YOU MUST BE ACTIVE OR YOU WILL BE KILLED BY HALLOWEEN- you must be very active in this RP
No Godmod, you will have powers, but it's powers going along with your chosen nightmare creature
No Powerplay
Multiple Characters are highly encouraged

keep the RP PG-14(yes movies are no longer PG-13, interesting fact for you)
This RP is similar to Land of Magic though different story line and a scary version​

Characters (all characters up for grabs)​

Halloween (Zhyriad): god of dead(ghouls) and nightmares- A handsome young god(appearence about 20's) who is the older brother of Hades, god of underworld. He was put into a slumper and put into the world of nightmares by his brother Hades so Hades wouldn't become a mortal and would become god of underworld. Every 100 years he gets to awaken and choose mortals to become residents of the nightmare world he also chooses his queen. Thanks to his brother Hades who was trying to put a final stop to Halloween, 4 mortals given powers fall into a slumper and enter the nightmare world and try to stop Halloween. During this group of mortals, he though chooses his queen and makes slave ghouls out of the others if they fail.​

Queen Maria (Destiny): Wife/Slave of Halloween- A young lady in her late teens. She is a vampire but was once a human. She was part of the last chosen who failed to put a final stop to Halloween. She was made queen then. She was given a curse in which she is forced to fall in love with Halloween and only mentally can her feel emotions about Halloween, anger and hate, can be expressed. It is much like she is controlled though except her mind. During October of the next chosen that curse will be broken and she will be free. She has had 13 children, all of her children but one were born mortal and have died, one of the children though has escaped the nightmare world and whereabouts is unknown. She is currently ill and dying, when the next possible queen arrives she will die and her destiny will be decided if she becomes a spirit able to assist the chosen or a ghoul.​

Bly Minamitsu (Dualblade):Maria's brother, Leader of Ghouls- Complete brain washed of his past as a mortal and chosen leader of the last generation, he is a young man in his late teens(about 18). He is the favorite ghoul of Halloween and is basically heartless. He remebers that his sister is Maria, just doesn't remeber the chosen 100 years ago.​

2.) Raven (Destiny):Next Queen if Chosen Fail- An outcasted mortal girl. She lives her life away from most people prefering to stick to herself. She doesn't fit in at all and fearts nothing because nothing bothers her anymore. She is mortal but upon awakening in the nightmare world, she becomes a caster(witch)​

3.) Will Johnson (Curtis8494 ): a chosen- A friend of Raven's. He lives with his grandfather and is a musician who plays guitar. He is mortal but upon awakening in the nightmare world, he became a werewolf.​

4.) Morgayne Ratih(SummonerBMW): a chosen- A little girl living in the small town with the other chosen. She is helping out her godfather. She loves nature and helping people. She is a young mortal girl, but upon awakening in the nightmare world, she became a nymph​

Additional Details to Know​

The World of Nightmares- A world where your worst nightmares are real. Visited every night(meaning every hour all day) by mortals who go through a basic living hell. The regular residents are ghouls and creatures of nightmares(very rare though, and once they die they become ghouls). It is ruled by Halloween​

Creatures of Nightmares(minus ghouls)- They are very rare, born from living nightmare creatures. They are creatures like vampires, witches, werewolves, and etc. They live about 100 years and not much older. When they die though they become ghouls.​

Ghouls- Creatures who torment mortals when they visit the nightmare world. They come in many forms but they are much like ghosts.​

Name: Raven Mongomery

Role: chosen, next chosen queen
Personality: Raven is quite and shy. She usually sticks to herself drawing or writing in a notebook she carries around with her everywhere. Raven is an outcast in the town she lives in. The only one she can turn to is a few friends(which even then she doesn't do) and her grandfather. ​

She isn't afraid of much not even death, her life of being teased and such has allowed her to pick up this 'trait'. She can get nervous sometimes though but is good at hiding it. She wishes she could become popular but deep down she knows that can never happen.

She's not very strong or good at controling her powers, though she has caught on to wind, fire, and telekineases.​

History: Raven has lived her entire life in a small town in New England(You know the U.S. like Maine, Massachusettes, Vermont, etc.). Everyone knew everybody. She doesn't have many friends, in fact she's rather an outcast.​

Raven doesn't care to much about her family but gets along with her grandfather. She feels she can relate better to him than anyone else since he was treated as an outcast his entire life just like Raven. ​

Raven's parents were popular jocks and cheerleaders in high school. Her mother was squad captain of the cheerleading squad in high school, her father was the football team captain and coaches the high school team that she goes to. Her parents wanted her to get involved like them. Her mother wanted her to be a cheerleader her father to do as many sports she could do. Raven refused though and her parents hate her because of it. ​

Raven though is artistic, she plays violin, piano, and she can sing. She enjoys painting and photography. Her best talent is writing, mainly poetry. ​

Raven lately has been having some strange 'visions' you can call them. She's also has been having trouble of sleeping at night for everytime she fell asleep she had a nightmare and she forced herself awake. ​

Basically like I said it's sort of a twist version of Land of Magic with a bit of a story change

 

That's fine, though fill out a template, just put in personality and history to be built through RP, and for the sake of too much god mod pm me the powers he'll have.


SB, I'm going to have to say not accepted, by the sounds of the template you don't seem like you're completely sure of what the RP story is. Also I kind of want the characters to know each other(much like the last chosen)

Your character seems a tad unrealistic, the human part and stuff.

SB, it's a little better, except there's no mythical creatures in the real world. When everyone's awake, it's like living life like we normally live life.

When they go into a deep slumper they won't reawaken unless they suceed to kill Halloween by october 31st.

But anyways, change the fact about witches in your history, and explain further what the ADNE is and it's accepted, I'm putting your name at the top but if it's not changed by tomorrow your name will be removed.


Anyways, if you're a chosen, please let me know if you want to be a leader(SB's character because of her age can't, Curtis yours could)

 

Ummm no, they don't become mythical creatures in the real world, only the dream world, but you make her parents seem like witch hunters

 

We need just one more character, so ask your friends. Until we get that character, we can't start, and that means the less time we have to try and defeat Halloween.
