    "Zejie, Junko, Kilana." Arcanus spoke. "It is time to go to the next world. The children should already be there. If everything has been going according to plan, the one who teeters between light and dark should have fallen to the darkness. You three will welcome him into the darkness. I, on the other hand, shall appear as an ally. Try to lead him into the light. And when those attempts fail, and he falls to the darkness, our real target's resolve should strengthen to save her friend. And as she tries, her heart will get stronger." Arcanus turned around and opened a portal. A portal to Radiant Garden. "Strong enough to form the key to Kingdom Hearts." Arcanus finished his sentence in his mind.

    Junko was right. Why did Junko have to be right? It made Kilana look worse for the wear, her own offer being neglected in the presence of the Junko's suggestions. Granted, the Master never actually SAID that he agreed, but the feral woman could sense it. The slightest change in posture, the turning of the head. Clinging to one's arm had its advantages.

    Once the orders were issued, she unlatched herself from his arm immediately, moving to discuss the luring with Zeije. "How do I try pulling him to light? I have beauty, but I don't know what's the difference between 'being light' and 'being dark'." She asked him, clearly set on completing this task. Anything for the Master.

    Sei pulled out the gun into his right hand, tossing his dagger into his left. He made sure the small bottle of oil in the handle was secured.

    " 'Bout as ready as I'll ever be." He told her, igniting the blade. And then he lunged forward, turning the tip if the dagger into a whip of flame, firing the pistol at the oncoming wave of heartless.

    Sora ran forward and fought the enemies as they dwindled down and became nothing. Sora stood up straight and looked around to see if there were anymore, but she saw none.

    "We should go ask Merlin where the others went." Sora stated. Sora walked back into Merlin's house. She looked around surprised to not see the wizard. She walked to the back and noticed Kuro was missing and to her horror, lying on the floor was Merlin.

    "Merlin!" Sora exclaimed running over to him. Merlin opened his weak eyes to look at her.

    "Oh my... what a pickle I'm in." Merlin tried joking. Sora looked back at Sei.

    "See if there's some way to save him in here." She told him. She felt Merlin grab her hand and something be dropped into her hand. Sora turned back around and looked at Merlin.

    "Take that, as a sign of the first Sora." Merlin stated. "Listen to me, Sora, your part of a very sacred prophecy. Your heart is stronger than most, you see your heart and your heart alone is a key, a very important key. Your heart is the key to Kingdom Hearts. You will always be in danger of people who want Kingdom Heart's power. I have faith that you are strong though and you will be able to defend Kingdom Hearts." Merlin spoke before he started closing his eyes.

    "Merlin, wait!" Sora exclaimed. "I feel like I've known you a long time, but I haven't." Sora told him. Merlin smiled slightly.

    "There's a reason for that. You must watch Kuro, the darkness is in his heart, I fear it may be controlling him. I don't know where the darkness is from. He ran out before I could truly find out." Merlin stated. "The two of you must go speak to a great sorcerer named Yen Sid, he will guide you two and become your keyblade master and teach you all you need to know." Merlin stated his eyes closing again.

    "Merlin!" Sora exclaimed tears forming in her eyes and falling down her cheek.

    "I wish the two of you good luck." Merlin said before he closed his eyes and he was gone, he was dead. Tears streamed down Sora's face. She let Merlin's hand drop and she looked at what he placed in her hand.

    It was a chain necklace with a crown on it, Sora's necklace.

    That was it? Their big task now was to be the welcoming committee to the boy, the open arms that would embrace him as he stepped through the door? As far as Zeije could tell, that would pretty much be the case, assuming all went well. Considering who it was that had orchestrated his entry into those that called themselves Darkness, the boy was as good as in. It almost seemed unnecessary to intentionally intercept him as they were. They’d probably do best to make it seem like mere coincidence that drew them together; at least that way they could keep things organic, as opposed to forced, which might repel the kid from their midst. That wasn’t to mention what they might have to do if, for some reason, he hadn’t accepted the Darkness.

    The portal to their next destination opened, Zeije marched with an inclined neck towards it. He fell in beside Kilana, who engaged him in banter of one things or another. What exactly she was trying to ask, he wasn’t sure of; he was still wrapped in his own ideas for what would have to happen. “Darkness… Light…” he spoke the words rather stressfully, as though he were simply forcing himself to answer for the sake of answering. “They’re the same thing s one another in the end. But different, somehow, I imagine. At day’s end, they both wind down to nothing. There’s only one real power in these Realms at this point, and Darkness and Light are nothing but the tools used to reach it… The Keys to the Door, if you will.”

    Suddenly, he hear the sound of metal clanging against stone, and came to an abrupt halt. He threw his gaze up a bit, finding himself staring at a wall, not even a foot from his face. He hadn’t realized it, but they had come out of the portal, and into a long, back alley avenue flanked by houses built of wood, resting on stone foundations. Down the alleyway, at the end of its length, Zeije could make out a lively main street, bustling with the everyday life of the world they were on. Beyond that, the village, or city as it was, spanned on, until the form of a massive castle that could have easily fit the entire town in its halls several times over, guarded the horizon with an aggressive and arrogant sense of dominion.

    Certainly, Zeije figured, it was there to remind the people of their insignificance. He knew that he was, at the very least, made uneasy by its appearance. He could only scarcely imagine the sort of power one with such a grand estate could have.

    Hastily reasserting his focus, he rejoined his companion, and with his next words, sought to establish a solid plan to proceed with. “I think,” he said, “that it’s safe to assume that if we come on too hard on the kid, he’ll not want a thing to with us. Of course, that’s only to be considered if he’s already accepted himself as one amongst the Darkness. If that’s the case, then we’d be best to approach him casually, and naturally, as though we simply noticed it about him in passing, or something. On the other hand, I’d say that if he hasn’t actually come to terms with the Darkness, then we give him one last little push to work with. I’ll fight him, defeat and humiliate him, and leave him with the promise of Darkness bringing him the power he desires. Then you two can work the field from there. After all, if Arcanus is trying to lure him back to the Light, we’ll need someone else maintaining the Darkness is the way to go. Understood?”

    Kuro stopped as he saw a dead end. He looked over the edge, huffing and puffing with his eyes transfixed on the far away ground below and the red castle standing with a rickety structure.
    I just killed someone.
    His body suddenly felt heavy with burden and he envisioned the blood staining onto the floor. He heard clapping from behind him. It was his father.
    "Well done, my boy!" he exclaimed. Anger rushed through Kuro as he pointed his black keyblade at his cloaked father.
    "STAY BACK!!!" he screamed.
    The father smiled. "What are you going to do? Kill me like the others? Are you afraid of the darkness?"
    Kuro had a tear run down his cheek. "OFCOURSE I AM! I just killed an innocent man"
    The father zoomed up to his face and held his shoulder.
    "That man was evil. He was always trying to eradicate who we are. We cannot help what side we are, Kuro. We are born like this."
    Kuro looked back at the cliff, contemplating suicide. He didn't want to see Sora again because of this. He didn't want to see how upset she was with him. She wouldn't trust him again even though it wasn't his fault. Maybe love wasn't going to work out for him. What was there though to look to?
    "Remember that night, Kuro when the nobodies taken over our house? Do you remember the light after-wards? That was him, Merlin the Darkness Killer. Sora is exactly the same and so is Sei. They will kill you in an instant and you know why? Because we're darkness. They may try to change you into something you're not and seem like they want to be friends with you but that is what happened with Merlin and I. We were good friends way back when. He then feared the darkness inside me and as I turned away from him for one instant, he did the inexplicable; he killed your mother with that light. Your friends will turn on you as well, even though, they may seem to be wanting to be with you."
    Kuro let down his keyblade and just stood in that spot. Everything sounded correct; the burst of light, the flames, the nobodies. Sora and Sei did nothing to help him back at Traverse Town when he was bullied, punched and kicked. He was right. The light hated him. His father let go of the lad and turned away.
    "You will meet some friends of mine. Do not speak of me while you talk to them. Understand?"
    Kuro murmured, "Yes"
    The cloaked man nodded. "These people will teach you everything you need to know of the darkness. Good luck, my son."
    The father faded away. Kuro, trying to process what was going on, slumped to his knees, watching a worm slither through the purple ground. He grabbed it and crushed it in his fingers. He was frustrated. Why did the light hate him? Why did he have to be darkness? He envisioned Sora's beautiful face smiling at him and then gloom, as she would look at Merlin's death. Another tear rolled down his cheek, which was wiped away quickly. It was time to forget. She was his enemy after all.

    Arcanus appeared in Radiant Garden. He knew where Kuro was. He began walking, his armor disappearing.

    He reached Kuro. He acted as if he was a denizen of the light, playing the role perfectly. "Don't give into the darkness." He spoke to get Kuro's attention. "I can see it in your heart. You struggle between light and darkness. It's like you're walking along the edge of a blade. One slip and you die. You can't give into the darkness. I hear the dark echoes in your heart. Don't listen to it. The people the darkness tells you are enemies. They aren't. Looking into your heart, I can see everything. The girl you care for. She's special. If you fall to the darkness in your heart, she will be forced to strike you down. Fight the darkness."

    Kilana nodded in agreement to every word Zeije said. The feral woman grinned as she heard the 'plan' or phantom thereof, seeing it work perfectly in her mind's eye. If - no, WHEN this worked, she would fall even more into Arcanus's favor. And who knows? Perhaps he would begin to respond to her affections! The whole affair made her giddy with joy, and she was not one to restrain such strong emotions easily.

    "Yes, yes! Now, where do we start?" Kilana asked him, the euphoria seeping out like syrup from a broken maple tap. She sniffed the air, for a moment, then pointed down the road in one direction. "I've got a good feeling about this way!"

    Taking the Nobody's hand, she began yapping.
    "So, how should we act around him? Like husband and wife? Mother and father? Brother and sister? Best friends? Lovers? Oh, so many POSSIBILITIES!"

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Sei, stood in shock, once he learned about Merlin's death. But this shock was short-lived as something occurred to him.
    "Wait, so Merlin is on the ground. . . And Kuro is not here. . . So it's obvious! Kuro saw the guy that did it, and ran away! Right? Right?" He asked Sora, not wanting to associate the murder with his friend. Sure, they weren't good friends, but the kid would never hurt a fly from his experience. Would he?
    Kuro shook his head.
    "How can I fight the darkness when its a part of me?"
    Darkness started to steam out of his hands and formulated a hand. It then thrusted towards Arcanus, punching him squarely in the stomach. Kuro then looked back down as he walked back towards the cliff face. He had enough of this. He didn't want to fight Sora. He spread his hands out, ready to fall down.
    "I might as well just cease to exist. I can't control it. It has taken over me."
    Kuro closed his eyes and fell back. With his heart pumping and his reluctance to take a breath, he started to fall down to the bottom. He thought of his friends turning their backs at him, stabbing him through while he was not looking, killing his mother. Suddenly the darkness which once formulated into a fist slithered across his chest and dissected itself. Both dissected pieces then transformed into wings and attached themselves to his shoulders. They started to fly in their own accord and Kuro, as he opened his eyes noticed he was flying. For the first time in a while, his frown turned into a slight smile but as he did, the darkness dismissed itself from the body and detached from his shoulders. The keyblade, for a slight moment, changed to a Kingdom Key, the symbol of light. Kuro did not notice, however, did not notice this light and closed his eyes once again, not wanting to look back. He thought about Sora revolting against him, striking Kuro down. That darkness that once were his wings interlinked with him again, stopping his fall. He landed on the ground, looking up at the cliff he fell with his keyblade back to black and red.
    Arcanus let the attack hit him. Even though there was no pain at all, Arcanus grabbed his stomach and fell down as if he was in pain. Arcanus stood up and walked towards the cliff. He saw Kuro already down at the bottom. He made a blade appear in his hand as he jumped off. He stabbed the blade into the cliffside as he fell, allowing him to control his speed and whatnot.
    Once he reached the bottom of the cliff, he approached Kuro again, his blade disappearing. "If you surrender like that, then the darkness will devour your heart. Seeing as how you still have a heart, that means there is still light there. You can fight it. Fight the darkness. You must. If you don't..." Arcanus twisted his body into a fighting stance. "I'll fight you. I'll fight you until you turn away from the darkness." "Not like that matters. Fight or not. Kilana, Zeije, and Junko will be here soon to pull you in. Alone and unaided, you shall fall into the darkest depths. And strengthen your friend's heart."
    Kuro raised his blade, uncertain of what to do. His father would want him to turn to the darkness but he just couldn't get himself to strike against him. Then he realized. Why did he know so much as to what was going on? Something was wrong. Was it a trap?
    "Who are you and how do you know so much about me?" he asked, feeling slight anger within his veins. He hated all this confusion.
    Arcanus sighed. "Were you not listening to me earlier? I said I can see into your heart. That's how I know of your struggling with the darkness. I'm here, trying to help you. Have you seen what the darkness can do? Your heart is one that hates violence and destruction. And yet you turn towards the very power that causes the things you hate." Arcanus paused, thinking of words to further through Kuro into confusion. "I can't make the desicions for you. Your heart is at a crossroad. Only you can choose where to go. But before you go all suicidal, consider your priorities. And think about who is your real enemy." Arcanus turned away, expecting someone to appear soon to bring Kuro to the darkness.
    Junko rolled her eyes knowing what the gaze in Kilana's eyes meant.
    "Have fun with that, until then, good day, I got work to do." Junko stated before disappearing and appearing above the cliff where Kuro jumped off. Junko knew she was out of Kuro's view but not of Arcanus and she winked and her appearence turned into the brown hair girl that mean so much to Kuro. The girl they were after.
    "Kuro!" Junko screamed out her voice sounding like Sora's. She forced herself to cry finding it slightly difficult due to not emotions and no need for the weak sad emotions. She came into Kuro's view.
    "Kuro! Please tell me it's not true that you're not darkness, please..." Junko said fake crying.
    Sora looked over at Sei. Sora shook her head.
    "Merlin said he was being controlled by darkness. I think he might have contributed here somehow. I do knot one thing for sure, Kuro is in trouble and we need to try and find him before it's too late." Sora stated looking over at Sei wiping tears away and clasping the clasp to the new necklace, the old legendary Sora's necklace around her neck.
    Kuro was shocked to find Sora standing there, watching him with his black wings attached to his shoulders. He looked away with a tear in his eyes.
    "I'm sorry, Sora but maybe its for your own good that you should leave. I don't want you to get hurt. Anyway, you don't care about me. No one does."
    He stopped, placed his hands in his pockets and just looked down.
    "I don't know whose side I am on but I know one thing. No one will never take advantage of me again, including you."
    The keyblade then decided to point at Sora, which first resisted but then controlled itself, stabilizing the weapon. He turned, noticed the keyblade and yanked it back away from her.
    "Just get away from me" he spat, walking up to the heartless castle.
    "But Kuro..." Junko looked down. "So it's true, you're darkness. That means one thing." Junk stated a fake keyblade appearing. "I must defeat you. You're a threat to the light and kingdom Hearts. It is my job to stop you, even if I must kill you!" Junk shouted. She ran forward and swung at him. She grinned to herself knowing she was doing a good job. 'Be ready to turn dark or fall to a witch heartless.' Junk thought to herself.
    ((May this post see the revival of this RP's activity! Cheers!))
    The pattering sound of Junko’s footsteps played into Kuro’s ears as he walked, and while he wasn’t entirely sure how, he knew that she was making to attack him. And more to his uncertainty, he knew exactly what to do in response. He wheeled around to face her, the merciless Keyblade he had been gifted, or cursed with rising up to meet hers in a deadlock. The two weapons met with one another, their clanging echoing about through the crypt in which the pair fought. The Darkness was once more taking control in Kuro’s actions; he could feel it through his body, his mind, down to the core of being, and his head was placed into that same lapse it had been in when he had slain Merlin.
    “I’m a threat to the Light?” he inquired. The voice however, was not the one he had had before. It was a cooler, smoother, and far more confident voice in a mid-pitched range. He gave Junko a sneer as spoke his next words. “Like you’re not? Don’t make me laugh.” Putting his body weight forward, he pushed Junko away, and released the two blades from their deadlock. Noticing that Sora was still there he turned to her, throwing a fierce look. “You! I thought I told you to… uggh. To GET LOST!: His speech was broken up, like a radio caught in static. He fought hard against the urge to frighten her away, but it counted for very little. Unable to maintain himself in fending off those urges, he swiped free hand towards her, issuing out a wave of energy derived from the Darkness.
    “Now get out of here before I really… ge-get going.”
    Junko grinned as the wave hit her, the only thing it did was wiped away the illusion. This didn't bother her, she could clearly feel the darkness now in his heart, it was too strong for Kuro to fight it back.
    "That's it, let the darkness take control." Junko stated as she stood there. She crossed her arms as she let lose a laugh on a heartless witch of darkness could muster.
    "Give in, Kuro." Junko stated again. "After all you're weak, we all know this, even that Sora girl." Junko mocked him.
    Sora looked over at Sei when suddenly she felt her heart burn up then suddenly stop. Her keyblade appearing in her hand. She looked back at Sei unsure how to take that.
    Kuro's eyes burned with fury as he looked up. His usual hazel brown eyes flared red, in response to Junko. She infuriated him but she was right, which made him even worse.
    "SHUT UP!" he screamed. His voice echoed across the silent world, with the wind carrying it over to the marketplace. He turned away much like he did with the bullies of Traverse Town. He always turned away from his problems. He continued to walk up to the castle, which once stood tall in the days of Hollow Bastion. The keyblade was urging, almost pulling him away from the chaos behind him. It wanted something from that castle.
    Sora looked up hearing the yell. She looked back at Sei and quickly took off running in the direction she heard the yell.
    She ran and slide to a stop at a mosaic floor area. A metal gate stood in front of her, she could tell the shout came from the direction of behind the metal gate.
    'Key' She thought to herself and extended her keyblade as a little beam shot out and the gate opened up allowing Sora to run through quickly which she waisted no time on it to open as she slid through.
    Sora kept running.
    Junko laughed at the pain Kuro was going through. Jun turned to Arcanus.
    "I'd say he's all yours" Jun whispered to him.
    Arcanus nodded, his armor encasing him as darkness surrounded him. He disappeared through a dark portal.
    Arcanus reappeared in front of Kuro. "I see you are now fit for the darkness." As he spoke, his voice echoed in his helmet, making it unrecognizable to Kuro. "Succumb to your darker emotions. You have no need for the last shard of light that so desperately clings to your heart. The woman who was once your friend, Sora, comes to finish you off. She will try to deceive you, feigning ignorance of your fight a moment ago. Bathe yourself in the darkness, and you shall be free of your pitiful problems. You will be free to do what you want, how you want."
    Kuro stared at the helmet, transfixed by his voice. It sounded godly, powerful and important. The last shard of light inside of him was rebelling to look away, to turn, to get out of reach for darkness but Kuro could feel the power within his veins. He had it in his genes and he couldn't stop the certain future. However, he did not believe Sora would hurt him in anyway and as he remembered his mother felling to the nobodies, revenge clouded his heart and Sora did not take account of his depression.
    He suddenly felt as though he was falling through an invisible wall of darkness inside his own consciousness. In his right hand, was his keyblade which Riku once used and in the left, a chain of a broken heart was clasped. He forgot about the things Sora said about him and his feelings towards her but as he plunged down towards the darkness, he did not forget the memories of Traverse Town. He wasn't a heartless or a nobody; he was just a being of darkness.
    Kuro was lying down with the two objects in hand, the broken oath and the keyblade. He looked unconscious to many, thanks to Arcanus' voice but he soon will awaken, ready to learn.
