Another Kingdom Hearts Story: Another Story

Sora and Sei quickly took off running watching where they ran before sliding to a stop. Sora grasped her heart feeling a severe pain. She swayed for a few moments before falling to the ground unconcious.

Sei looked down at his friend confused but noticed the several heartless that appeared. He looked around and summoned his weapon ready to fend off the heartless.

Sora stood in complete darkness looking around. She was standing on a mosaic level of some sort. She didn't look down at the image. Sora looked ahead and saw a small gleam of light in the distance. She stepped forward and quickly ran jumping off the platform before plummeting down.

Sora quickly saw the light. she had some how traveled and was above the figure. Sora looked down at the light and got closer to realize it was the body of a boy with a very weak light, the weak light was all that was left in his heart.

"Kuro..." Sora breathed. She dove quicker reaching out for his hand. Sora reached with all her might.

She reached out and felt his fingers but she soon landed hard on some sort of platform as Kuro began to fall deeper and the last little light began to fade.

"KURO!" Sora shouted. She slowly rolled over on to her back being greeted by light.




She opened her eyes and saw Sei swing at the last of a heartless. She stood up slowly.


"Now you're up..." Sei started before Sora took off running. He looked at her confused but quickly ran after her.






Sora slid to a stop and looked out over the landing. Laying on the ground was Kuro, unconscious.





"Master Arcanus, I think we should retreat back to our world." Junko stated. Sora leaned forward over the platform. Junko looked up and saw the young girl. "Or maybe we can play cat and mouse." Junko smirked.

"Kuro!" Sora exclaimed jumping down onto the platform her keyblade ready to fight. "Let him go!" Sora exclaimed.

 

Sora looked at him amazed as the portal closed around them. Sei an their opposing forces back in Radiant Garden.

Sora looked over at Kuro worried.

"What did they do to you?" Sora asked him worried her hand still in his. It took a while for Sora's eyes to adjust to where they were at. "Kuro..." Sora looked at him suddenly remembering what Merlin said. She looked at him straight in the eyes.

"I saw Merlin... After somebody attacked and killed him. He said something about somebody controlling you, is this true?" She asked hoping it wasn't.

Sora glared over at Arcanus.

'Thats a lie.' She thought to herself, she didnt say anything but just listened to Kuro speak. Sora went to speak before he kissed her. Sora stood there in shock. Her eyes wide before realizing what he was doing. She closed her eyes and relaxed. She kissed him back. She broke the kiss and looked at him.

"We're going to figure this out, and you will be like Riku. You just have to be strong, ask the little bit of light in your heart for help. It'll help you, there's no doubt in my mind that it wouldn't help you." Sora told him. She smiled at him.

"And you know I won't just leave you, we'll both learn how to control your powers." Sora stated.

She leaned forward kissing him again.

'It's a promise.'

 

OOC: Requiem is dropping out, so were not going to worry about Sei too much.

The heart in Xehanort's hands began to warm up and glow.

'That's it! Fight it, Sora!' the voice shouted in her head again.

Sora breathed slowly still feeling strange about what just happened. She looked down at her hand resting on her chest which held her heart. She looked up at Kuro and hurried over to him to help him up.

Sei left looking all around them. He looked back at his two friends.

"What was that all about?" Sei asked aloud.

"Perhaps I can help the three of you." Sora looked around hearing a voice speak.

The surrounds suddenly changed around them as they stood in a room filled with books, potions, and various other things.

Sora stood in amazement when her eyes fell on an old man sitting at a desk. He had on a blue robe and a blue hat.

"Who are you?" Sora asked.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet you and see you in person, Sora. Not having to read about you in prophecies." The man stated.

"Huh?" Sora asked confused.

"Kuro, I assume you are ok?" The man stated. Sora looked at the man puzzled.

"How do you know our names?" Sei asked.

"I'm a legendary sorcerer you see, I have foreseen our meeting, I foresaw way back when I first got the pleasure of meeting Sora for the very first time." The man stated.

"I met you before?" Sora asked slightly surprised. The man only laughed.

"No, I met the other who holds your name." The man explained.

"No way..." Sora said surprised.

"You knew the Keyblade Master Sora?!" Sei shouted surprised. The man only laughed.

"I knew the great King Mickey and some other Keyblade Masters, who you, Sora, hold a connection to as well." The man explained.

"A connection?" Sora asked confused.

"King Mickey believed Sora of the past was the key, the key to kingdom hearts and the connection to those past keybladers and a key to prevent corruption. I knew he was not, for the past Sora was a key but only a key to unlocking the X(key)-Blade." The man explained.

"Sora unlocked keyblades?" Sei asked confused. The man laughed.

"No the X(x)-Blade, all announced in Greek, key." The man explained. "You Sora are the true key to unlocking everything and preventing corruption." The man told her.

"I can prevent... corruption?" Sora asked.

"Yes, much like that man you saw and those being of darkness you saw in Radiant Garden. Those people. They are of corruption. Corruption is often associated with darkness, but this is not neccessarily true." The man explained. "Every heart has a bit of light and darkness, only a select few have a heart of light and a heart of darkness. Darkness associates with that of evil, where as light associates with things of happiness. If a person has a full heart of Darkness they tend to to think of evil. They are the corrupted. They can be saved though. You Sora have the power to save them by unlocking Kingdom Hearts and thus opening up their heart to be able to create a perfect balance of light and darkness." The man explained.

Sora looked over at Kuro and Sei before extending her arm out calling fourth her keyblade.

"The power does not lie in that blade, that blade was granted to you for protection, created from the hearts of past keybladers of good, including Keyblade Master Sora and King Mickey and many more." The man explained. Sora looked up surpised.

"Who are you?" Sei asked.

"I am Master Yen Sid." The man answered them.

 

Master Yen Sid sighed.

"Your parents Kuro, I cannot be too sure. I feel they're dead, but their cause of death I cannot say, but if by some strange reason they were killed by corrupted darkness, Sora can unlock their hearts back into the world from Kingdom Hearts." Master Yen Sid explained.

Sora stood their amazed. Could she really do all that?

"The man who was possessing and attempting permanent control is a man of dark corruption. The man you saw as your father was not your father but only a figure of your immagination, an illusion if you will. I believe you saw this Sora." Sora looked at him and thought about the old man, she nodded slowly. "This man I'm sure you may have heard of before, several times, but this is the real one, one you will need to be careful of. His name is one many fear, Master Xehanort."

"Master Xehanort?" Sora questioned. She has heard about many Xehanort's.

"Master Xehanort was a keyblade master, a very good one but he got bored with his duties of protecting a power so great as Kingdom Hearts, he sought after the X-Blade from Kingdom Hearts. He's probably still trying to get a hold of it." Master Yen Sid explained.

"Let me guess, I have the power to grant that too?" Sora asked.

"I cannot say all of what you can do Sora, I limited to only so much information in prophecies." Yen Sid stated.

"I don't get it, Master. How can Sora do all that? And why?" Sei asked confused.

"It has to do with her heart." Master Yen Sid stated.

"What can my heart do?" Sora asked.

"I have said all I can. The rest the three of you must discover on your journey." Master Yen stated standing up.

 

"You almost were Kuro, but you were not completely. You are exactly like Riku." Master Yen Sid told the boy.

"Now then enough questions." Master Yen Sid said as he waved his hands and a small piece of armour appeared on their arms. "You have a journey ahead of the three of you and you'll need equipped to travel. This small piece of armour when activated..." Master Yen Sid said when Sei began looking over it and pushed down on the button.

"Whoa! Check me out!" Sei exclaimed as he wore the green armour. Sora looked over surprised and amazed.

"The armour when activated turns into a full body suit of armour in which you can wear in intense travel and you must wear when travelling." Master Yen Sid told them. Sora nodded pushing her to be wearing silver and blue armour.

"Cool!" She exclaimed looking over the armour.

 

Sora was upset by what happened. She looked at Yen Sid.

"I'm sorry..." She stated before hurring out of the room. She stepped out looking at the mysterious set up of floating stairways until she heard Kuro shout something. She looked over at one of the stair wells below. She wasn't sure how to get down there, but she knew one thing, the heartless running up were not good.

"KURO!" She shouted. She quickly summoned her keyblade and threw it as hard as she could while it sped forward going through many heartless.

Slowly Sora stepped back and quickly ran forward jumping over the railing falling down and forward. She saw the keyblade come back toward her. She grabbed the keyblade before reaching the platform Kuro was standing on.

She grabbed a hold of the railing as she hung on to it. She lifted herself up before rolling onto the platform realizing she was surrounded by heartless. She quickly stood up and saw Kuro but quickly frowned watching as his armour went from the blue to black. She looked at the heartless and didn't have time to think about that as a heartless jumped at her and scratched her.

"Oww!" She exclaimed glaring at the heartless before hitting the metal plate on her shoulder. Just as she did her body was encased in light before her body was surrounded by her newly gifted armour.

"Back off!" She exclaimed before begining to fight the heartless.





Just as Arcanus finished sending in all the heartless a special heartless appeared and walked up behind him.

"Well I would assume you'd like me to go in for the guy in the pointy hat." Junko stated grinning a wicked evil grin.




Yen Sid nodded watching Sora leave. Sei started to turn before Yen Sid spoke up.

"Wait." Sei turned around. "Sei, I need to entrust you with somethings." Yen Sid spoke.

"Like what?" Sei asked confused.

"Those two, they could save each other, or kill each other. The way the cards are being played right now, I fear something of them." The great sorcerer stated. "There is a story only some know, you need to learn it. Sei I trust you. I'm the last to know this knowledge till now. You cannot tell anybody else." He continued.

Yen Sid and Sei stood in an area surrounded by stars. A void where nobody else could access, an area where only Sei would know of the great knowledge Yen Sid was about to give him.

"Can you accept this knowledge?" Yen Sid asked the young boy. Sei looked around and looked at Yen Sid unsure.

"I don't know. If this knowledge will help keep Sora and Kuro safe and alive, then I will try my hardest." Sei told him. Yen Sid smiled and nodded.

"Kingdom Hearts is surrounded by darkness then surrounded by light, with people of darkness after it, with people of light defending it. It's like a pattern. The inside is the same. Kingdom Hearts is created by light, with darkness that has snuck in before now trying to get out, then it's made of light, within that light is a creature of great darkness. Only those believed to be descendants of the light know. I am the last of them alive, those direct descendants. None of us had descendants so I need to pass the knowledge on, Sei I trust you." Yen Sid breathed and stepped closer to the young boy waving his hand as an image appeared between them.

"Two beings appeared, a girl of light- love, friendship, courage, protection, hope, faith, destiny... a boy of darkness- anger, hate, fear, manipulation, greed, cruelity. These two beings were born into a world where the people were exactly half of what the two were whole of individually. The two became bored and unamused by the others who were half of each of their whole. Until they crossed paths. They both knew the other was unique and different and so they both were curious. The two became close trying to learn more about the other. They didn't know what they were getting themselves into." Yen Sid explained.

"What were they getting into?" Sei asked afraid of the answer slowly making a connection of the two beings to Sora and Kuro.

"The two grew close creating a bond. That's when they realized it, their unique difference to the rest of the world was designed to be complete opposite. They realized the other if given more power over the other could change the universe. The two learned this and hated it... in many ways. The girl wanted to figure out a way to not let this affect their love for the other where as the boy wanted nothing but to get rid of the girl or at least rise above as supreme power. The girl knew this could not happen. She told fourteen of her twentyseven children what she was going to do about their father. They all understood and overall became who would carry out and help develop hearts more light than darkness. The boy soon learned but didn't know everything so he told the other thirteen that they must defeat the light and make darkness stronger." Yen Sid told them.

"What happened?" Sei asked.

"The girl knew what she was doing when she confronted her opposite, the man though some would question, she love dearly. Though she loved him she had try to keep the universe equal like it was meant to be. She sacrificed herself creating a chamber in which the boy would be locked away in. In that chamber the being was surrounded by light. The two overally though kept fighting, but the girl got it settled when the universe was form like it is now..." Yen Sid paused.

"Kingdom Hearts is a lock chamber trapping in the boy, the boy was then surrounded by the light said to be the love for him by the girl. Darkness though has been able to seep through over the years, but once in, like the boy, they're trapped inside a wall of light. Surrounding that wall of light, is what we know as the realm of darkness. That realm of darkness is then surrounded by what we call the realm of light. However this realm of light is more like a balance containing those of half and half of the girl and boy, some who are strong light than dark like Sora, and those who are stronger darkness than light just like Kuro." Yen Sid told Sei. Sei stared in amazement and realized something.

"Wait, what about the fourteen and thirteen people?" He asked.

"The twentyseven descents, children of Light and Dark. They continued their parent legacy. The fourteen were gifted with ability to never die from natural cause only from murder. Those fourteen were the original keyblade masters bringing fourth and teaching new keyblade masters and apprentices. It was believed that seven of the fourteen had daughters with traits much like their mother of pure hearts, however they each had a little darkness, but this is true." Yen Sid explained. "The thirteen followed their father's wish spreading word of how powerful the darkness was, sparking greed in many people, that there is how darkness truly was born into the universe. It is believed that all thirteen were killed off by the greed they gave birth in so many hearts."

"Wait, so what about the fourteen?"

"The fourteen were slowly killed off, for a very long time, only two were alive. It is now down to just one pure descent and soon it'll be one prodigy." Yen Sid stated.

"Who's the one?" Sei asked confused. Yen Sid smiled and turned around.

"I am that one. My brother, my dearest brother, was murdered, but won't be forgotten." Yen Sid stated. Sei looked at Yen Sid surprised and then connected two and two.

"Wait... your brother... was he Merlin?" Sei asked. Yen Sid nodded slowly turning around and facing Sei again. "Whoa..." Was all Sei could say.

"It may be so. Now Sei, here comes the important knowledge, with this knowledge you must defend both Sora and Kuro. Two forces are affecting the two seperately. One force of darkness is slowly making Sora's heart pure light like my mother's, Light's. The other is making Kuro's like Dark's. I fear that if this happen down the line something like what Light and Dark went through may happen again with Sora and Kuro." Yen Sid told Sei.

"What, you mean Sora could have to sacrifice herself?!" Sei exclaimed.

"Or it could be reversed this time." Yen Sid told him. Sei was shock and didn't say anything more allowing Yen Sid to continue, "Another fear is this. At this current point Sora can unlock the power of either Light or Dark from Kingdom Hearts, however if her heart is continued to be made into a heart of pure light, much like Light's, she'll be able to open the door completely releasing Dark into the world. If that happens, Dark will search out the strongst dark hearts to act like his sucessors. They could be brain washed, we never know. This is where Kuro is in danger." Yen Sid told Sei.

"No..." Sei stated. "How can I prevent this?" Sei asked.

"You need to find a way, though you may find that it might hurt Sora and Kuro to not allow their hearts to develop into what they're destined to become, but you must do this. You need to keep their hearts as close to balance as you can. Meaning you need to find a way to get darkness into Sora's heart, and light into Kuro's. It'll be a lot of work, Sei. It is though, I believe... your destiny in this triangle of friendship the three of you have." Yen Sid explained.

"I will try, but I don't know..." Sei stated.


Soon their surroundings changed cause Sei to not say anymore. Yen Sid smiled at Sei.

"You'll do fine. I'd like to give you a bit more to assist you. This book here contains on the knowledge I have gathered over the years, except what I just told you." Yen Sid stated pointing at the large book. He continued on and grabbed a few more belongings.

"This cloak here will give you great power." Yen Sid stated as soon as Sei was wearing a new green cloak.

Yen Sid made a few various items appear of different use but didn't get time to explain them when heartless appeared in the room. Yen Sid nodded sitting down at his desk.

"They will not harm me... not yet, go help your friends." Yen Sid instructed. Sei looked at him surprised and shook his head.

"They'll be fine, I'll help you here, I'm still confused on so much." Sei told him.

"Sei, you must. You know all that you need. Now GO!" Yen Sid demmanded when suddenly Sei landed on his butt on the platform all the belongings just given to him stored away on his person. Sei looked forward to see Sora and Kuro fighting the heartless.

Sora's armour with a slight glow and Kuro with darkness becoming known on it. Sei sighed and stood up.

"I got a lot of work ahead of me." Sei stated before hitting the metal plate on his shoulder causing him to adorn his new green armour as he ran in keyblade in hand to fight the heartless.
