Arcade fading...

    Yea... it has gotten real dull lately. I mean, I have fun with the fun & games section but for me to have real fun with games in the arcade is not. Can we have another arcade tournament or something? I think we should pick up some activity in there so that we can enjoy ourself with some competition.

    The games here are kind of lame. And what with console titles that the users here are most assuredly playing, why would they waste their time with a silly flash? To be honest, scrapping the section wouldn't be out of the question in my opinion.

    I'm just saying. If no one else is going to be playing and tehre areno tournaments hold weekly or monthly, then it loses all meaning. Some people still play flash games... well... the one that is more popular like Dragonfable and the like...

    If someone wants to request a tournament to be made with any of the current games we have in the arcade, I would be happy to make it. I don't think anyone active has the ability to add new games, though.

    We haven't had an Arcade Team on the staff for about a year now I think, they were the ones who were in charge of adding new games to the site. Maybe if the arcade gains activity again after a few weeks or months then the Arcade staff can be revived again and more games can start flowing in again, just a suggestion.

    There is a pokemon game in the arcade. You just have to go and look for it out of the 190. Still, if we actually need an arcade team, will the current staff member will be in full charge of it or what? Last time I remember, Aqua was the only person who was on the arade team and she is gone. And for the other tournament Desert, that tournament has been opened since... I think October and it still had not started yet.

    I don't think that you need any kind of arcade team since the arcade isn't that active that it would need mods to take care of it - and even if you'd try to add new games, I doubt it that they would be too popular.

    IMO, the staff should be concentrating on getting the boards active again and the site as well running. the arcade has always been quite lame anyways, if I would use it, it would only cut my time on the forums. I don't really see why we have it around anymore.
