    Another Story...

Legends speak of heroes, heroes who travel all the worlds protecting them and ensuring their safety. One hero is remembered of being the greatest of them all, his name is...

Thanks to Sora, darkness has been put to rest and same for the nobodies. They'll always be around, but now they're weak and in small numbers and don't terrize people.

Since Sora, there has not been another keyblade weilder, no need for another keyblade weilder, unless a new threat were to rise, that is...

Sora, a girl named after the legendary keyblade master, has lived life peacefully in the small world of Traverse Town. She's helped her family in their shop in the first district and has gone on adventures around town with her friends. Life has been great, things are very peaceful, at least they used to be.

A new threat has been rising and Sora knows it. She's gotten nightmares and visions about it. Nobody but her friends truly believe her.

What is this new threat? A threat to Kingdom Hearts and all that of a light. A powerful force of darkness born right in the realm of darkness has come to the realm of light for one purpose. To do what his ancestor could never do:

Gain the power from Kingdom Hearts.

Sora does not know why she is recieving these visions and why lately in her dreams she's being called the only one who can stop it but also the only one who can unlock Kingdom Hearts.

I've been having some weird thoughts,
Like is any of this for real, or... not?

A girl was asleep peacefully on her bed in her bedroom, not a care to what was happening around her, or maybe the biggest care of what's been happening around her.

Lights from outside on the street shined in her bedroom window from the ever lasting peaceful night of Traverse Town.

"Sora! Get up, your father and I need you to go run and do somethings around town! Sora?!" The girl's mother called upstairs. The girl, Sora, would not respond though, she was in a deep sleep...

    (in 1st person, but it's Sora's POV)
Where am I? I looked around my setting, I stood on a platform of some sort. Below my feet was a mosaic of glass with a picture of somebody and something. It was a picture of two boys with spikey hair, one had short blond spikey hair, the other long brown spikey hair. Behind them was a blue moon, but that's not what was different, this moon was in the shape of a heart.

I could tell you from past dreams, even though in the dream at the moment I couldn't remember past dreams, in fact in this dream all I knew was I was not from there. I could tell you though that heart shape moon is known as Kingdom Hearts. It is the heart of all the worlds in the realm of light, shrouded away in the realm of darkness. Only a selective few have truly seen it with their own eyes, and even then, the true Kingdom Hearts has only been seen by those from the dark realm which from known facts is... nobody.

People have all seen doors to the dark realm or passages to Kingdom Hearts, but nobody has truly ever seen Kingdom Hearts in person. Except for me, if you count them as being in dreams, dreams that claimed I was some huge part of Kingdom Hearts, I'm not completely sure what though.

    "Don't be afraid...
    Take a step forward...
    choose your fate..."

I heard a voice, at the sametime, I didn't hear a voice. The voice was sort of more like me reading words in my head, no actual sounds, but a voice. A familiar friendly voice.

I looked around when three pedistols appeared. A sword, a magic staff, and a shield rested on one of the each pedistols. I looked at the three of them and took my steps forward grabbing the sword, I've always been one for strength. Upon my choosing the floor fell beneath me and I plumitted, deeper into my dream.

    (back in third)

Sora slowly awoke upon having water dumped on her head. She looked up at her angry little brother.

"Mom said to get up an hour ago!" He exclaimed. Sora yawned and stretched.

"Sorry didn't hear her, I was deep in sleep can anybody blame me for how hard I've been working lately?" Sora asked him.

"You mean the little work you do, I've seen you maybe everyday for the past week work for mom and dad maybe an hour, then you'd run off with your friends to go do stuff then you'd come home and before getting dinner, you're asleep!" He exclaimed.

It was the truth though. Sora has been spending less time working and more time trying to escape Traverse Town for the reason of her dreams. Her dreams have been giving her messages in which she believes Kingdom Hearts is in danger, nobody beleives her though, mainly because nobody has seen Kingdom Hearts, nobody believes it's real.

Sora's been sleeping a lot lately too because of all the weird dreams and messages from the dreams. More and more recently though the dreams have become more realistic. If she got scratched by one of the dark creatures in her dream the more it hurt. In all truths when she said she's been working hard, she means from the dreams in which she's fighting to defend Kingdom Hearts.

"Come on, you're lucky mom and dad are only having you run and pick up something from the synthesis shop." Sora's little brother stated before storming out. Sora shrugged and quickly got dressed and ready for the day. She grabbed the metal pipe and had it resting in her belt like in a holister before leaving her bedroom.

"Sora, about time you woke up, we need you to pick up a box of items from the synthesis shop." Her parents told her. All of the items they sold came from there. Before Sora and her little brother, James, were born the accesory shop they owned and ran use to be up there under the synthesis shop. Upon her parents having kids they moved into the old potion shop which moved to where they were at. They did that because instead of a bunch of moogle's running around making things being upstairs, there were three bedrooms, a kitchen, and living room upstairs.

Sora nodded and left the house hurring to the synthesis shop only to return in 10 minutes with the heavy box of different accesories. Upon her dropping off the box she stood out in the first district looking around. So many more people have been showing up lately, many of them with no memories of their pasts. Some say it's because their worlds have been disappearing. Nobody minded it though, it was typical to see travelers and people looking for new homes to come to Traverse Town.

Sora started towards the third district but stopped and looked at the gate to the space outside their world, upon that gate to that space, one could travel to other worlds. Sora knew that eventually and soon she would have to escape to go to the other worlds to figure out the meaning of the travelers with no memories and the meaning to her dreams.

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEE-

A hand slammed down on the alarm. The owner of said hand rolled over in bed for a moment, grumbling on how the day. An eye lazily opened to view the time. Then its owner cursed heartily into his pillow.

Several minutes later, Kyobashi Sei was dressed in his usual garb, a sleeveless shirt & vest with a tie and some dark jeans. Stopping by a mirror next to his apartment's (Really, the place was his mother's) front door, he checked his appearance. Slightly scruffy, but nothing a little brushing and dusting couldn't handle, he noted, before casting a glance to the frame above the home's fireplace containing a gun. A family prize and a reminder to stay safe, it was. And so, making sure he had his knife by his side, Sei head out of his Second District home.

"Huh, I wonder what the others are doing today?" He wondered aloud, referring to his friends, Sora and Kuro. The three of them hung out all the time in some abandoned house in the Third District that they found because he accidentally shot flames at a wall. The flame professional began to leisurely stroll in the direction of the place, seeing as he had nothing better to do but hang out. Seeing Sora in the distance, he waved to her. Though, he didn't actually go to her because she seemed to radiate the 'I've gotta do something for the family business' vibe at the moment to him.

Beneath the cover of an array of midnight stars gleaming overhead, Zeije wandered thoughtfully through the streets of Traverse Town. He had been offered by a young town person to follow along with a "welcoming tour" of the town, along with about twenty refugees from worlds swallowed by Darkness in recent days; it was the purpose of this town, so it seemed, to cater to those who had no more world to call home. Naturally, Zeije had declined the offer with grunt and a cold shoulder. Guided tours didn't leave him much flexibility to scope out the real key points of the town's layout and defenses, which were really the only things he needed, not where one could fins cheap-as-dirt lodging.*

He was under a ticking clock until his employer called the next meeting to order. When he thought about it, he didn't even know when the meeting would be called. For all he knew, he still had an hour or two to spare before being summoned by the powers that were. He stopped in the back alley behind the local inn and pondered it for a moment. He had already taken note of the towns defenses, and ensured that escape would be at the least a difficult feat to acheive; it was everything he had been ordered to do, plus a little more for good measure. And last he knew, his militaristic organization methods when it came to securing worlds had yet to see failure.

He decided then that he had done his work, and had a bit of time to kill before getting back to the grind; if anything else came up to tend to, he'd be able to have it seen to be a lesser link in the chain of command. Drawing the hood of his cloak over his head so it covered the upper half of his face, he walked down the alley, leaving it through a ground level door a the opposite end. After a short tunnel passage under the inn, he came out in the large square of the Second District, where most action in the town took place. A the opposite end of the large square, his might-have-been tour party was being introduced to a wealthy manor house, where he had learned several minutes ago that refugees were boarded until the new lodgings could be completed.*

He spared but a second to watch the group walk down the alley towards the houses enterance, and made his own departure. Up a small flight of stairs, and through a large set of wooden castle doors, he wound up back in the First District, just behind the local shop. Halting where he stood, he looked to the sky, pinning his gaze onto a single star in the sky. In an eerily timed fashion, the star he was staring at was cascaded by a blackness, and ceased to shine in the night sky. It was their work, he knew, and it was the only work they knew of. If it really was the only way, and it all worked out in the end, it wouldn't matter what end had just came to that star; something bigger and grander was on the way. Zeije nodded his head, and continued moving, heading towards a local tavern he had noticed when he arrived. It would be the perfect place to spend his time waiting.

    >I have absolutely no idea what to post, so here goes.<

"Okay, so lemme get this straight. The few of us have holed ourselves here to defend against a lone person who appears to have the intention to destroy our world?"

    "Sounds about right."

"And we have picked here of all places because?"

"Because this is where he wants to destroy the world."

"Oh good, what fun that is. And I'm guessing—" The person's voice was cut off by the sound of the barricade being blasted away. A lone figure walked through the smoke. He was encased completely in black armor, holding a shining blade in his right hand.

"Your defense of this world is admirable, but inevetably useless. If you stand down now, your life will be ensured and you shall be taken to Traverse Town. If you continue to resist me, you shall fall to the darkness alongside this world."

"We will not surrender to the likes of you."

The man in the armor sighed. "Pity." All the light in the room faded.

    -----

In the lanes between worlds, the armored figure was flying between worlds* "Another easy take. If it did not herald a fake Kingdom Hearts, I would continue with this until enough hearts have been collected."

Kuro sat on a bench, reading a book with the dim flickering lantern above. It was hard to read and Kuro occasionally squinted his eyes and pounded his fist on his lap.
"Why the hell is it always dark here? There's so many damn people living here that electricity is shortening out"
A girl sat down next to him, smiling and staring at the blonde teenage boy. She was of 12 years old.
    "Hey"
"Hey can't you see i'm reading!? I'm taking a break from work! I don't wanna bother with loudmouths like you!"
The girl frowned and walked away back to the group of new immigrants. Tears fell from her eyes.
    Kuro looked up and sighed.
"What's wrong with you? You're not usually like this" said an imaginary clome sitting next to him with a keyblade around his back. He looked brave, spunky and tall; 3 factors Kuro did not have.
Kuro just read his book until it was knocked out of his hands.
    "Hey you little gay faggot"
Kuro did not look up. He stared down at the book on the floor as his head spun from a punch. From the winded feeling, Kuro fell to the ground and looked up at his aggressor, the champion of struggle. The powerhouse of Traverse Town. Height, many called him for his size and sheer dominance over a crowd. Kuro once stood up for a little boy who tripped over Height, then he got kicked to the ground. The little boy had the same treatment too. His name was James, Sora's brother. That was 2 years ago. Sora and Kuro have been friends ever since.
"Loser. The only person who he can make cry is that girl"
Kuro laid in that position, holding his black eye. From the sight of his right eye, which was far superior to his left, he caught the eye of Sora and immediately turned away. She's always been worried about him. Kuro hated that. Why was he so weak? Why couldn't he be the one who is worried about her? Leaving the book on the stone pathway, Kuro walked away from the bench. The light flickered on the book, with its title, Kingdom Hearts.

Sora walked out of the synthesis shop box in hand when she saw a little girl run by crying then a deep loud voice.

"the only person you can make cry is that little girl."

Sora knew who Height was talking too, she had two People to be mad at and one to be upset. Sora hurried over to a flickering light post where her best friend, a boy by the name of Kuro laid.

"Hey back off Height." Sora said angry picking up a metal bat to fight.

Height might of won the struggle battle this year but that was only because she had to drop out before the championship battle.

"I think you have other things to do besides pickin on everybody." Sora stated raising the bat up to get ready if she had to fight.

Aw man, looks like Height's at it again! Sei whined internally, seeing Sora go straight for him after he punched Kuro. The teen sighed and made for the trio, tossing around a small ball of flame. What is even that guy's deal, anyways?

As he reached there, he said, "Oy. What's the deal? Accidentally throwing fists at innocents again, Tall-ey McTallTrousers?" He half taunted, rolling the flame over one of his hands. "Your really should stop doing that. One day, you might. . . GET BURNED!"

Of course, after saying such an absurd line, Sei couldn't help but falling over onto the ground, laughing. This was short lived, however, as he recovered quickly and coughed to regain his composer. "Anyways," He began, brandishing his knife, "Scoot. Vamoose. Get outta here. You're a jerk and nobody likes you that much."

Kilana loved what she did. The blood. The carnage. The absolute delicacy of the flesh. It was enough to give her perpetual goose-bumps. There were good places, and bad places. That world with pirates had many denizens that offended her finer senses, while out in her homeland the people were quite palatable. But still, she waited in their home base. Waited for their next assignment. It simply gave her shivers just thinking about it!

What’s this now? Zeije’s curiosity peaked, and his focus was called from thoughts of getting a good drink at the tavern. Nearby, the sounds of a commotion could be heard as locals bickered over something, showing that even a world for refugees had its dark sides. Zeije turned his head only slightly, glancing behind him in his peripheral vision. A large boy had landed a blow on one much smaller, and meeker than himself, landing the latter on the ground in a daze and pain. From a nearby shop, a female voice called out, Zeije assumed, to the larger boy. This turn of events prompted Zeije to turn about fully to take in the events that were proceeding. He had only met two women in his lifetime that had that much charisma going for them, albeit theirs being wildly different from the girl’s. Maybe she could be the one, he thought, thinking of his reason for showing up Traverse Town to begin with. It seemed possible that she could be, considering the courage she had against one who could have her flattened under foot.

His interest in the proceedings heightened even more as a fourth person, another male, showed up to confront the “bully.” It was this one who, for that moment, sparked Zeije’s amusement, quite literally) with a show of magical prowess in the arts of fire. The truth of the conflict was then clear, Zeije saw; the larger boy was outnumbered, and certainly outmatched by the fire mage’s prowess. And his only shot had been one made without his target looking. “Perhaps you should run along now,” he said, slipping the words from his mouth without thinking of them. He pointed to the boy dubbed Height. “You’d best be off,” he reiterated more threateningly. In truth, he knew he meant the words he spoke, and meant to say them, even if he didn’t think about them. He needed to get the bully alone, to see if his suspicions of the town were true or only mere suspicions. The way things were playing out, it seemed that he’d see some success, but he needed the kid to go off alone to find out for sure.

Kuro looked back towards the flickering light. Amongst it was his book, Kingdom Hearts, glowing with its own yellow aura. It was coming from the pages. The boy walked up to it and opened the book, with its light blinding Kuro's eyes. He opened them once more and saw a stream of white coming from the bind of the book. It then emerged into the shape of the keyhole.
"Kingdom Hearts will be opened. Decide whether it is for the light or the darkness. This is your decision. Do you stop the person you care for or do you gain power for yourself?"
Flashes of images came to his mind and then he pictured red eyes staring at him. Kuro immediately dropped the book, as it faded into normal. Kuro fell back towards the wooden bench and breathed heavily.
    "What the hell?"
He looked up and saw Sora witnessing what happened.
