    You have been chosen by destiny to leave your home on a quest, a quest that will forever change your life. A quest of bravery, courage, and wisdom. You have been destined to become a ninja.
    Upon the discovery of your destiny you are asked for your safety and your love ones that you leave before you are discovered and come to the academy. My academy will protect you and allow you to prosper and grow into one of the most respected and thanked, to become one of the silent wind, the shadowing leaves, the roaring fire, and powerful river.     Welcome to the Academy. ​

    The Academy was founded long ago by a great teacher who taught three young students: 大智 マウリ(Daichi Mauri), 武 俊(Takeshi Shun), and 美咲 琥珀(Misaki Kohaku). These three students grew and became very powerful ninjas each one with their own dream. ​

    Daichi wanted to protect the innocent and teach fellow destined youth like his own teacher.​

    Misaki wanted to fight for the innocent and poor and fighting the rich who ruled over the poor.​

    Takeshi though had a dark dream. He unlike his fellow students did not want to help the innocent, he wanted to rule over everybody. ​

    When the three young student's teacher learned of Takeshi's dark dream he immediately expelled Takeshi out into the wilderness. Many months later Takeshi returned to the home of his teacher and fellow students. With a small army he gathered they attacked the home. Daichi saw Takeshi in the forest with his small army discussing the plan and quickly went back running into Misaki. ​

    Quicly Daichi told Misaki of the misfortune that would come soon and thus the two young students hurried back to the home only to find it under attack. Quickly they both jumped into action fighting against the army of Takeshi.​

    Meanwhile Takeshi found his old teacher, his old teacher stood ready and prepaired as if he already knew. They began to fight. Takeshi was strong and too much for the old teacher to handle as the teacher was killed. Upon the teacher being married an old ancient shield broke from his body pushing Takeshi and the army away.​

    Misaki and Daichi stood confused as the dark army began to retreat, the two of them let their guard down and upon the retreat of the dark army, Misaki was kidnapped. ​

    Daichi who wasn't near Misaki stood unaware and she was taken. Upon the final retreat Daichi soon learned the cause of the retreat and what happened to Misaki. ​

    Daichi knew what he had to do, he turned the home of his teacher under a shield to stop the dark arts of ninja power into the home, he turned the home into an academy and went out finding and locating many students. He trained those students who too soon became teachers of the academy bringing many students in to fight against Takeshi's evil army. ​


    You have been watched secretly by academy ninja scouts who has determined that you are destined to be a ninja and fight against Takeshi. You have been chosen to attend the academy. ​

    ~The time period of this RP is the ancient times, like the ancient ninjas. That means no guns. Stick to the typical ninja weapons: katanas, knives, etc.

    ~To get a general idea this RP is going to be similar to Harry Potter except for instead of Dumbledore it's Sensei Mauri. Instead of Voldemort it is Takeshi. There's no "The boy who Lived though"
    ~The magic available is similar to Naruto and Avatar:The Last Airbender.
    ~The setting would be very similar to ancient Japan. So in other words that means no modern style clothing, no modern day transportation, no modern day weapons, no modern day technology.

    Personality: Daichi is a wise, kind, friendly old man. He cares a lot about people and the students of Academy. He is very smart and quick. He can be a tough old man that many have been surprised about. He is very well respected.
    Biography: Sensei Daichi Mauri was one of the students under a very good teacher. He became a student when he was 11 years old and trained very hard. By the time of the attack Daichi was 19 years old. He and his fellow students had an interesting history.

    Daichi and Minsaki were both madly in love, and their teacher frowned upon it, but accepted it because they worked extremely well together. Daichi and Takeshi were best friends growing up in their village before both being discovered. Through training they both grew apart unable to work well together at all and often fighting over how they should do something.

    When Takeshi left Daichi knew something was up when their teacher gave no explanation. When Daichi found Takeshi in the forest with his army while he was training, he quickly hurried back to warn his teacher when he ran into Minsaki in the woods. He told her about what he saw and what's going to happen and they both hurried back.

    They arrived back to a lot of fighting so the two of them joined in the fighting. Daichi quickly hurried inside and soon found Takeshi and his teacher. Takeshi quickly ran off completely unaware of Daichi arriving to find the dying teacher.

    The teacher gave him a special medal that would make him a master ninja sensei.


    Once Daichi learned of Minsaki being kidnapped, he knew what he had to do. He had to train destined ninjas so hopefully one day Takeshi can be stopped.


    One night though, much recent to the newest arrival of students he had a dream, a vision of Takeshi taking over their land and it was up to four students who would fight against Takeshi. They would either beat him or Takeshi and his heir would rule forever.

    Personality: Sakura is a smart, brave, hard working girl. She is different from other female students like her because she doesn't show much mercy. She continues to fight hard every day.
    Biography: Sakura is the daughter of a rice farmer. Her family history is unknown because her father was abandoned at birth in the forest. It wasn't until a young woman found him and took him in as her adoptive child. Her mother was a peasant woman picked out by her grandfather to be the bride of her father.

    Sakura is closest to her father since they've both been the hard working ones in the family. When Sakura recieved a scroll telling her of her destiny, she decided to take it looking at it as her calling. Her entire family but her father did not want her to go believing she wouldn't make it. With her father's help, at 15 years old she was able to run away from home to go to the Academy where she resides now.

    When she was 16 she recieved terrible news that her family's rice farm was destroyed and every member of her family but her father was killed and that her father is missing.

    From eaves dropping she was able to find out that it was Takeshi's forces that did it and thus she trained harder hoping to get revenge and learn of the whereabouts of her father.

    Name: Riku Mangano

    Role: ninja student of the academy

    Personality:Riku is a brave, couragous, smart, wise, cool boy. He cares about people dearly, and believes in fighting for the defense of those in harms way if it means throwing himself out into battle in harms way.
    Biography: Riku has been at the academy a year before Sakura started. He's known to be the strongests student at the school and could have moved on to be a sensei already but declined wanting to learn and train more first.

    He was orphaned and found by Sensei Daichi Mauri and left under the strongests teacher at the academy but when Riku was 14 his adoptive father went to battle and never returned and his body was soon found tied to a rock off shore, beaten, whipped, and worst of all, dead. Riku despite him not being his biological father was closed to the man and looked up to him and trains hard in his honor.

    Riku was the first one to meet Sakura and looking at her face he has a conspiracy about her he keeps to himself. Everytime he sees her though he sees it and he's almost positive on his conspiracy but tells nobody because he does not believe Sakura and somebody else knows.

    Riku quickly became a good friend to Sakura and soon he fell in love with her but keeps quiet about it as well.

    Personality: Takeshi is a tough, rude, arrogant, mean old man. He shows no respect towards anybody unless they follow him and do as they're told. He does not go easy on anybody and shows absolutely no mercy.
    Biography: Takeshi is the leader of the cult and slowly over the years has been taken over Japan. He just has northern Japan to do, the area he's from, the area where he was taught, the place he will show the least ammount of mercy.

    Takeshi grew up with Daichi Mauri. Both would fight in the streets, woods, anywhere using wooden swords they made. With their constant fighting and training to be warriors, they caught the attention of a well respected ninja master who took them in and a girl name Minsaki. They all trainined hard and were always asked to develop a goal to work towards. Takeshi and Minsaki had one but he thought their idea did nothing for themselves, he wanted something for himself.

    He wanted to rule. Upon discovering the dark arts of ancient Japanese magic he began to train seperately. He was soon discovered and kicked out. Once kicked out Takeshi began to gather followers voweling revenge.

    He had his revenge after a lot of training and killed his master as well as kidnapping one of his fellow students holding her hostage ever since.

    He like Daichi has recieved vision on his possible fate caused by four of Daichi's students.

    Well I haven't been all that active in RPs here, so this will be a good place to show y'all my writing ability! I'll be taking a position as a cultist. Character sheet will be up in a little while.

    Name: Sei Amakurajii

    Age: 23

    Role: Cultist

    Personality: Sei is obnoxious to say the very least. He has a strong, confident attitude that tends to piss off anyone around him who doesn't ignore him. He lives by a mantra of "only the strong live" and goes where ever he wants, only tagging along with strong people, or people who he knows can bring him to strong opponents. Getting past his nature to seemingly disregard the thoughts and feelings of others, Sei is a man of his own making and has trained himself to where he is now.

    Masterless, Sei doesn't understand the need to teach others or the idea behind the school in general. All he wants, is to fight.

    Biography: Sei's history is nothing short of average. He was raised as a peasant like many others during this era, his life was never fancy or for that matter nice. About the time he was fourteen, Sei started developing his own code and was beaten for it. This brought him to train his body to the highest point of sheer physical abilities, and adapt his own fighting style.

    Though he never sought a master, Sei's ability to use any type of magic is not something one would be able to see. Through his own indomitable spirit, Sei learned to access a type of jutsu that increased his already amazing physical abilities a level higher and earned him the nickname: "the Giant".

    Appearance: Unveiled Usual Form

    Personality: Somewhat flirty, tends to have a sly smirk on at any given moment.

    Biography: Hiro was an abandoned child to a buddhist monastery. Unwanted children are dropped into monasteries all the time, and he was no exception. Perhaps the bastard child of a noble, perhaps just the accidental birth that peasants could not afford. But he was. . . unique. His temperament was more effeminate in nature, and was naturally inclined to other pursuits than attaining spiritual enlightenment. Eventually he was sent from the monastery, his adherence to the Buddhist path of life nonexistent. He eventually found himself serving at a house of Geisha after a few days' travel with one of the monks, and it is there that Hiro learned the art of the Geisha. The grace. The poise. The art. All of those talents opened up to him, and Hiromi embraced all of them, his effeminacy giving him an advantage in the field. The surname Nagano he took from the head matron of the place. But one day, something strange happened. A letter came from a far-off place, bearing a signature of one with far more authority than the matron. And so, his training to be an entertainer ended, and his training to be a ninja began.

    Powers and Weapons: Special set of Tessen whose blades extend with inertia, but are kept inside otherwise. Also is highly proficient in the use of Neko-te and Kyoketsu-Shogei.
    Has the ability to alter his appearance with so much as a single thought, but uses it only lightly, usually, to emphasize certain charms.
    Is well-versed in the musical and dancing arts, and has a certain hypnotic effect when playing the samisen.
    Can alter voice to sound like many a person, as well as being able to throw voice around.

    Age: 15
    Role: Student of the Academy

    Personality: Arata is strong willed and can take any challenge which is passed to him. He likes to admit his emotions to his fellow companions but he doesn't complain about his actions. He moves on. The boy is also very resilient and does not like to give up. For the last few nights, he has consistently tried to begin a spell, staying up all night. Arata takes his goals too seriously rather than look at the bright sides of life. Also, the boy would give up his own life for anyone in the sanctuary. Finally, Arata is sometimes too trusting of others. He can be misled.
    Biography: Arata, once was a simple boy in the village. He farmed, bought food and played with his fellow friends but as one day passed, the night came with a furious fire. It savaged the land, and the straw houses burnt to ashes. He was rushed to a refugee camp without seeing his parents again. He was alone and scoured the land for them but Japan was too massive of a land mass to find only two people. That was when he received the letter to come to the academy. He was hungry, tired and penniless so he joined for food and shelter. That was two years ago and since then, he has become a well trained warrior but without magic. He has been frustrated recently because of this. He keeps training but nothing happens. His resilient nature however has caused him to keep trying.
    Powers and Weapons: He is a strong fighter but knows no magic. He is trained with the katana especially but he also holds paper bombs for emergencies. Another object he carries is a mysterious compass that was passed down from his family's ancestry. It has the power to point at the direction to where he longs to be the most. This, however, does not work for his parents. Something is blocking its route.

    I want at least one teacher under Daichi. Though I ne'er got into Naruto, I watched a few episodes so I'm adopting the idea of a small group of students have a teacher besides the head teacher.

    Plus I want another elite follower of Takeshi

    Also, for my character, I'll leave it up to everybody to decide for themselves whether they know what gender Hiro(mi) is or not.

    I can do a teacher. If you want I can also do a student. Oh, and just a little comment to the very first post, there is no magic in Naruto.

    Name: Takahata Konoe

    Age: 30

    Role: Teacher

    Appearance: Lemme find a suitable one

    Personality: Calm, caring for the students.

    Biography: He was an orphan, his parents having been killed in war many years ago. Sitting alone in an empty house, a traveller came by and took care of him. They traveled around Japan for several years. His adoptive parent taught him how to use Kankahō, a unique, rare, and difficult to use technique. During their travels, they encountered Daichi. Takahata's adoptive parent left him under the care of Daichi, where he began to learn more ninja stuff. He eventually became a teacher at this academy.

    Powers:
    Kankahō. By combining magic and ki, the user is able to increase their speed, strength, defensive power, etc.

    Instant movement. It looks like teleportation, but it is really just moving extremely fast.

    Void instant movement. Instant movement in the air. Really helps for changing direction.

    Clones. Able to create clones. The more clones there are, the weaker each individual clone is.

    Shadow strike. He's able to dive into shadows, hiding until he's ready to attack.

    Weapons:
    Katana
    Smoke bombs
    Kyoketsu Shoge
    A gigantic shuriken. When not using the shuriken, it is taken apart into four pieces and strapped on his back

    Personality: Sora is always happy, despite the worst of happenings. He always thinks of the positive and despite his young age, he is as intelligent as the others. That was why he was picked to enter the Academy.
    Biography: Sora is a new arrival in the Academy but shows excellent promise. He was sent to the Academy because his parents wanted him to be safe and get good shelter. His parents have fled but have vowed they would return to see him once again. Ever since his arrival, he has seen Arata as a mentor and someone to look up to. They have become good friends. They are like brothers. In the past two weeks he's been there, however, Arata has been saddened by the fact that Sora has already perfected a fireball; Sora can't use magic at all. Despite this, Arata has been a considerate and ongoing pal to the little protege.
    Powers and Weapons: Sora has been learning the ways of the bow and arrow and the knife. Like the signup said before, he can use fire but that is all. He still needs training.

    Personality: Lethargic. Not lazy or unmotivated, just perpetually sleepy.

    Appearance: Jin wears the robes of a Chinese noble, colored blue and altered so that movement is much easier. His hair is black and perfectly kept in a top-knot, and his face always has a look of boredom on it. His eyes are a yellowy brown.

    Weapon: An umbrella with a bamboo shaft, which slides off to reveal a long metal blade the shape of a hexagonal prism.

    History: Xi Fan Jin was once part of a noble family out west in China. But, one day he recieved a letter for an Academy for the gifted. He tossed it aside, uninterested in another place of learning. After all, he had tutors his entire life, and an entire day revolving around such things would only serve to bore Jin further. But one day an old man showed up, promising something spectacularly interesting. And given his disdain for boredom of his current life, Jin accepted instantly, getting wrapped up in the affairs of the Cultists.

    Abilities:
    Hex Style: Uses crystalline structure of ice to make fantastical things
    - Stars: Snowflake shuriken things materialize
    - Shield: hexagonal shield appears
    - Shell: sword in ground, a sheld made out of a multitude of 6 sided figures
    - Shooter: Prism shell appears around hexblade, with six chambers (one for each face). He then generates hexagonal pyramid icicles that launch themselves from the chambers.
    - Speculum: Mirror creation/alteration - allows long distance contact without telepathy.
    - Skaiaskope: Generates a box with a, you guessed it, hexagonal base that surrounds Jin and warps him somewhere else.
    - Slicer: On his sword, he creates a row of a flattened certain shape that may or may not have six sides, in essence creating a saw blade. Not a chainsaw, but a normal saw.

    I vote you try it. Try for doing character types that you don't normally do. The worst you could do is make a really hammy person.

    [FONT=&quot]Biography: How did he become so harsh and cruel? He was born of a Cultist family and was sent to the Academy because his parents were prisoners of war. Zhao went with them and was by himself so as a ten year old kid, the Academy thought he would be able to be converted. At first, they were successful. He was no longer beaten as a child or laughed at for his slip ups. However, one day, he noticed the darkness swell from his hand and up his arm. He longed for more of it but never told anyone. Over the next few years, he grew more power hungry and rose up to the top of the ranks in a mere 4 years. He demanded more, however at 14 years old. He wanted to know how he could use the darkness to his advantage but he could never tell his Sensei. He was afraid to be killed on the spot for “treachery.” What changed his life drastically, however, was when his parents were executed for murder. His mother did nothing wrong. It was his father. Despite that, both parents were killed and the enforcers told him to watch; it was so he could be taught a lesson if he ever back stabs the Academy. He grew angry, very angry. He started to beat up little kids and behind the Academy’s back, practiced the darkness on them. Some went crazy, seeing their nightmares become reality and were forced to leave. Throughout all his time in the Academy, he has been practicing for the very day to leave. Today, was the correct time to do that. Now he can become a Cultist and with Daichi growing weak, this would be the perfect time to escape and reunite with them. [/FONT]

    [FONT=&quot]Wings: The dark gases solidify and form ornate, almost spider webbed like wings.[/FONT]
    [FONT=&quot]Fire: He can summon fire in any form; balls, lines, tornados[/FONT]
    [FONT=&quot]Shards: He can cast shards of dark matter, which can penetrate through the body. They are like shurikens, which can be formed instantly from the gas surrounding him.[/FONT]
    [FONT=&quot]Nightmares: He can summon monsters from other peoples’ nightmares and make them real to the one person. The other person, however, will not be able to see the other monster. Only the dwellers of darkness can see all nightmarish creatures formed from peoples’ minds.[/FONT]
    [FONT=&quot]His sword is a regular katana. Nothing special but he gets the job done with it. He is heavily skilled with it.[/FONT]
    [FONT=&quot]Other: His weakness is that he can’t use darkness in pure light, only shade and at night. [/FONT]
