Kingdom Hearts III: Sonic and Sora's Adventure

This is a story I have been posting on Fanfiction.net that I want to share with everyone here! So far, I've planned out 9 worlds and I'm going to be posting my story right here. And here come Kingom Hearts III!

Book 1: The Fastest Thing Alive​

Chapter 1: Sonic's Dive to the Heart​

A boy was falling through the water.

But this boy was not human. He was an electric blue hedgehog. He had no clothes on except for red shoes with yellow buckles and white gloves.

As he opened up his emerald green eyes, he saw a platform with a pink hedgehog with a red skirt and boots and a red headband on the platform painting. She appeared to be asleep.

When the boy hedgehog landed on the platform, he heard a voice say, "Power sleeps within you."

Three pedestals appeared on the big platform. One had a sword on it, another had a shield on it, and the last one had a staff on it.

"Choose a path to give it form."

The hedgehog boy went to the sword and, as he picked it up, felt a surge of strength surge through him. He felt as though he could do anything, even without the Chaos Emeralds.

"The power of the warrior. Invincible courage. A sword of terrible destruction. Do you choose this path?"the voice asked.

The hedgehog boy thought about this for a moment. The courage sounded good, but the destruction it might bring to him didn't sound too good.

"Yes," He finally answered.

The sword disappeared from his hands and the voice returned.

"Now, what will you give up in exchange?"

The young hedgehog thought that the staff wouldn't be much use to him since he couldn't use Magic.

So he walked over to it and picked it up. And when he did, he felt that he could solve anything with the power of his mind.

"The power of the Mystic. Inner Strength. A staff of wonder and ruin. Do you want to give up this path?"

The hedgehog immediately said, "Yes."

Then, the three pedestals sank into the ground and the main platform shattered, leaving the boy hedgehog to fall through the water again.

When he reached the next platform, he saw it had a picture of a girl with long blue hair and a small blue penguin chick next to her. She, too, was asleep. And the penguin chick seemed to be trying to wake her up.

"You have gained the power to fight with a spectacular weapon."

Suddenly, strange creatures appeared on the platform.

They were pure black and had wicked claws. They also had antennae and beady little yellow eyes.

"Use this power to help yourself and others."

Suddenly, the sword appeared in the hedgehog's hand and the creatures went on the attack.

As they lunged at the Hedgehog, he raised the sword to block the attack. After the creature's claws bounced off the sword, the hedgehog boy swiped the sword in a counterattack. And with that single swing, all the strange creatures were defeated and eroded into darkness.

The hedgehog boy smirked.

"These creatures may have a strong attack, but when it comes to defense, they're easily taken care of."he thought.

Suddenly, the platform shattered like the one from before, leaving the hedgehog boy to fall through the water once again.

Another platform came up under the hedgehog boy.

Only this time, it had a picture of a little tanned girl with ebony black hair on it. She was in a yellow dress with white flower motifs on it and had sandals on her feet. Next to her was a picture of a blue koala-like creature that seemed to be trying to wake her up.

When the hedgehog boy landed on the platform, the voice returned.

"Now, tell me a bit about yourself."

Then, a beam of light came down from the dark sky and landed in the middle of the platform.

When the light beam dissipated, there was a girl there.

She had brown eyes and bushy brown hair. She had on black robes with a pair of black boots and a red and yellow tie. Her skin was as white as snow and she was holding a wand.

She smiled at the hedgehog boy and asked, "What's most important to you?"

The hedgehog boy was very surprised at this predicament. Where had this girl come from? And why was she asking him this strange question? Nevertheless, he decided to answer the question to get this over with.

"Friendship, I guess." he said.

The girl then disappeared into the beam of light. This time when the beam of light disappeared, there was another girl there.

But she was different than the other girl. She had tanned skin with ocean blue eyes and her chocolate brown hair was in a braid. She had on an artic blue, white-trimmed coat with a hood, arctic blue gloves, and fur boots.

"What do you want out of life?" she asked the boy.

The hedgehog boy was really getting wierded out now. Where were these girls coming from? And why were they asking him these wierd questions? But he decided to go with the flow and answer the girl's question.

"To be strong." he answered.

The girl smiled and the light beam returned, taking the girl into it's bright grasp.

When the light subsided, there was a woman there this time.

She had on a light blue sparkling ballroom gown with a her black hair in a bun. She had chocolate brown eyes and skin that was almost the same color. She had a small, white, sparkling tiara on her head.

"What are you most afraid of?" she asked the hedgehog boy.

By now, he was getting used to this, so he answered, "Getting old."

The beam of light then came back, taking the woman into it's swirl of light.

Then the voice said, "Your journey begins at midday. Keep a steady path and you will come through. Do you choose this path?"

The hedgehog boy answered, "Sounds good to me."

Then the beam of light suddenly turned dark and was revealed to be a pillar of darkness. That pillar began to take a physical form! By now the hedgehog boy was starting to take a few steps back, terrified at what the supposed light was becoming. Then the hedgehog boy started running from the huge creature the pillar of darkness had become. But, he came up to the edge of the platform, nearly falling into the abyss. Luckily, he righted himself.

When he turned around, the transformation was complete. The creature was nearly three stories tall and was pure black. It had beady little yellow eyes poking out of it's tentacle-enwrapped head. It had huge wicked claws and feet that were all wrapped up. But the strangest part was it's chest. It had a huge heart-shaped hole smack dab in the middle of it's chest.

Back with the hedgehog boy, seeing that there was no escape from this, he decided to attack this huge creature to get this wierd dream over with.

He gripped the hilt of his sword and ran towards the big creature. The gigantic creature crouched down and shot balls of darkness at the blue hedgehog. He rasied his sword to block the balls, shooting them back to the huge creature's head and hurting it. The huge creature fell to the ground and the hedgehog jumped at the chance to hack at the huge creature's head, which seemed to be it's weak point. As he dealt the finishing blow, the huge black creature melted into the floor, causing the hedgehog to sink into it.

Then the voice returned, saying, "But don't be afraid."

As the boy struggled, he came to a realiazation: he was dying.

"Remember, you will be the one who will save the worlds from utter destruction...Sonic."

Then the darkness overtook him...
