Why? Aahh!!!!!

    Why? Why is KHI so much harder than the others? I beat KHII on Proud, KH:358/2D on Proud, and made it about half-way through KH:ReC on Critical, beat it on Proud!!! I can't understand why I can't beat the original on freakin' Normal difficulty!!!!!!!!!! It took me a few weeks to beat Maleficint and at least 3 months to beat Riku, but now I can't beat Ansem! I've been trying for 'bout 7 months now, and no luck. I used to try every day, but now it's about every week I try it. Am I the only one who finds the original Kingdom Hearts to be hard as hell???:mad::eek::mad::eek:

    You should ask a friend to help you or search some guides out there.
    I think that will work..
    Just search your problem if you need a clue/answer.

    I've tried numerous guides, but nothing has worked. 'Bout the only helpful thing I found was that Ansem's little disc thingies that he throws can be blocked. But even that didn't help me beat it.

    I'd say level up until you can beat him. You get stronger in strength, defense, magic. That's what I do when I get stuck. Works every time.

    Its so True it took me so long to beat kingdom heart1 but Eventually if u level sora , and keep trying your gonna beat him. It took me a year to get through the first game Being stuck at the gargoyle Pissed me off. and Then Ansem hard stuff

    What level were you guys at? I'm at... 55, 56... maybe? I dunno'. I originally tried it at 40, and got my ass kicked. It's not as bad now, I've been trying to level up, but Sora levels up so damn slowly on the original....

    You need some items.. and some potions and to make sure that you have the right spell in your shortcut list. You also need required abilities in order to beat them. Also, start fighting enemies and to turn in the materials to the moogles so that you will be able to at least try to get the Ultima Keyblade or to just turn in the materials to gain some stat boosters.

    You might have a better chance at beating him if you have Ars Arcanum, Dodge Roll and Strike Aid equipped also some potions and cura on the shortcut list. As for the second part, if flying around to evade and cura doesn't help you enough just level up some more and you will eventually defeat him.

    I haven't advanced very far in Kingdom Hearts, but I can tell you that it is more intricate than Kingdom Hearts II, mostly. Kingdom Hearts II delved in a linear style whilst it's precursor had more puzzles to solve.

    Also, battles can be more of a pain, as well.

    Well, you need lot of potions and some useful skills/attacks. Try to level up until you get stronger enough to beat the enemies you needed to fight. It could be hard to beat Kingdom Hearts, but it's better not to give up. Be a man and beat all the games you must!

    For some weird reason KH2 was easier than KH1 for me...

    I was always stuck on the little mermaid boss battle.
