"The dark realm?" Duelo spoke, making it sound like a question even though he already knew that. "How... Unfortunate for him. To be stuck there all alone ever since all the darkness was sealed up." He took a sip from his glass of sweet tea. "What makes it more unfortunate is that there have been rumors going around about the darkness lately." He sighed, thinking about how he was somewhat to blame for the current destruction. "I mean, why even bother sealing up the darkness if the seal failed to gather it all up in the first place? In fact, why not just remove the seal entirely? After all, both light and darkness are needed in this world to function properly. Taking one away from the other like that is currently proving to be dangerous. And, most importantly, don't you want to see him again? See him, and this time, never let him leave."

At this point, Duelo figured there wasn't much of a point in dancing around with words. He knew that Raven knew who he was. He knew she wouldn't bother telling how she knew. He did hope that perhaps his words of Voltair and Raven being together would sway her to his side, so there wouldn't even be a possibility of a fight breaking out between the two.

This time, it was Raven's turn to be surprised. She expected him to have some knowlege about the balance between light and darkness but not this much. It especially surprised her that he knew so much about her and Voltair specifically. She only faltered for a second, but then decided the wordplay was over. They both obviously knew who the other was and though she was curious about how he knew the things he did, she decided not to push the topic. "You are right about a few things, Kid. Light and Darkness were meant to co exsist like any opposing forces are. One can not exsist without the other and trying to separate them or destroy either is a fools dream. But there is a lot that you dont understand, and the balance between the two forces is bigger than Me or Voltair. We have both come to understand that. What I am curious about is why you tried to break the seal and how much you know about the 'darkness' as you call it that got out of the dark relm."

Duelo sat down and propped his feet up on a little cushion. "Well, that's a simple answer. As I mentioned earlier, I have met Voltair before. As I recall, it was the period of peace between the recreation of this world and the sealing of the darkness. I was just a child then, probably only nine years old. Now, as I'm sure you know, darkness always gets a bad rap. Even here, in the very world created by light and darkness in such a way that made it more unique than Twilight Town. Anyways, Voltair was the one who opened my eyes. Here he was, the physical personification of darkness, the substance that has caused so much fear and misery. He was searching for you, even after your attempted sacrifice to stop the evils that hid in the darkness. It was weird when I thought about it. The darkness was trying to get to the light. Not out of a desire to consume as is stereotyped, but out of a desire of love."

"The way I saw it, it was one of the most selfish desires ever, as is expected with the darkness. But at the same time, it was so selfless. Not only would he be happy with you, but you would be happy with him. Light and darkness together, each equal and totally committed to the other as they should be. It was at that time that I realized the truth. Light and darkness may be opposites, but they are not enemies. Instead, light and darkness are unfortunate victims. Each made as a tool to oppose each other. While light gives warmth and sight to people, darkness does not. Due to that, people fear the darkness, and that allows people with evil intentions to use the darkness for their own desires. Because of that, light is left to those who oppose the people who use darkness, although the people who use light are not always good themselves."

"I feel as though I may be drifting away from the reason for my actions, although what I just said are the reasons from which I drew my conclusion and decided to remove that seal on the darkness. Light and darkness need each other. The world will slowly fade away to destruction if light and darkness are separated the way they are. Admittedly this destruction takes forever, longer than any human has been alive, so this is more conjecture than anything. But just imagine the miracles that could be formed with light and darkness together properly and neither force being used for evil intentions."

"As for the bit of darkness that never made it to the dark realm, or the bits that have escaped, each is due to certain failures on the behalf of certain individuals. My original plan was to release the seal on darkness in one swift motion and let it all flood back into this realm. Had that occurred, this current devastation would have been avoided. Unfortunately I must take some of the blame for this, and I shall repent for this for the remainder of my life. But Voltair is also to blame. My intentions were for him to supervise the darkness as it returned. With him guiding it, these bad things would've never happened. Unfortunately he resisted, so only a fraction of the darkness returned. And that fraction strengthened what little darkness was lingering. Although perhaps it was too much to expect Voltair to do this properly? He never did show complete competence with his duty as the darkness, did he? After all, he failed to seal every ounce of darkness. And what was the first thing he did when he truly realized what it meant to be the darkness? He did something fairly drastic and sealed almost all of it."

Duelo stopped talking long enough to finish his drink. "Well now. I believe that summarizes everything. So what are you going to do now? Would you assist me with reuniting you with your lover? Will you leave me to my own devices and focus on fighting the current evils that use the darkness? Or will you try and stop me, leaving the darkness to remain alone until the day the seal naturally fades away, a day that may never come."

Raven felt like she should be offended at a few of the things that Duelo said but she wasnt really. Actually she was a little bit amused though she didnt agree with very much of it "He failed at nothing. There is a difference between evil and darkness, you said so yourself Darkness is only a force that bad people would seek to manipulate and hide in. Did it not occur to you that possibly Voltair DID succeed in trapping away all of the darkness in the relm, but that there was some evil being who was not currently exsistant or even had no evil intent involving darkness at the time? Not every thug on the street uses shadows to hide, you know. People change, time passes. Darkness, Light, or neither, that is still the same and always will be."

"Whatever this thing is that we are up against, it did not truly become a threat until very recently which is ironic seeing as very recently some kid also released some powerfull dark energy into this relm, not bothering to realise what kind of monster still dying off from the lack of it you probably revived and empowered." she rolled her eyes crossing her arms.

"Yes, I will admit Voltair was young and reckless. We both were and we were bound to make some mistakes especially seeing as we were only beginning to understand what it was we were supposed to do with this knowledge of our true identities and powers heck we are still figuring it out. Its common knowledge that Light and Darkness can not survive without the other, and that at the state the balance is at now, the world is bound to collapse. You can already see it happening but simply breaking the seal and hoping that it will be all better then is no less of a reckless mindset and I can only guess that I speak for both of us when I say that I am very tired of making wreckless decisions, making things better for a little while, and then watching everything fall apart into something worse. Something will be done about the seal, you can count on it but only when it is sure that it is really what is supposed to be done. And whatever it is out there, you call it darkness I call it your typical bad guy who gains power from a natural force, will be stopped one way or another. And as for wheather or not Voltair and I ever end up truly together again..." she smirked "...I missed the part where that was at all your damn buisness."

She stood, unsure of what would happen next "Don't consider me an enemy. I dont start fights with overconfident kids who dont have their facts straight. By all means, keep trying to figure out the balance and ways of bringing back the darkness to this relm in a way that doesnt empower world eating monsters like the one I get to deal with now. I'd be glad to hear it and will cooperate. But dont consider us friends if you are going to assume you know everything from a conversation you had with a stranger at age nine."

*Hope and me are doing a JP because we are sitting right next to each other. No powerplaying going on here *

She was suffocating. She couldnt breate and her mortal lungs were on fire, screaming for oxygen that it was use to needing. It was a horrible feeling, your body dying but knowing that death would not end the pain. Dusk was trapped against a burnt wall in a world that was falling to pieces around them, Dawns black smoking hand around her throat with very enhanced strength, having just taken the heart of a world called Tamaran, which was now caving in on itself. Soon it would become a black hole and be gone forever.

She looked at Dusk with feirce eyes as her Nobody suffered her mortal body's natural reaction to strangulation. "Now do you understand Dusk!? You cant stop me! While you might be immortal as well as me, your body is not. It gets injured, it gets slowed down, and though it will not age, it will degrade. I have no body, you cant hurt me. You cant slow me. How do you expect to kill me!? Give it up and face facts. One day you will fade away, just like Emily, Just like Vanquish. And your being will live on surrounded in your body's decay under the ground forever." With a flick of her hand she threw Dusk to her left. Dusk fell to the ground there. Though her life was in no danger, she gasped for air trying to make the nausia and burning feeling in her lungs pass. Then, she stood faster than humanly possible and looked to Dawn with hate in her eyes. She picked up a board that was burning with the flames from one of the flaming buildings around them. She ignored Dawn's comment.

"Then destroy it now if you can. Lets finish this!"

Dusk let out an insane laugh as red colored lightning flashed across the smokey clouded and black sky. Her body seemed to become smoke that trailed behind her face as she was running toward Dusk. Dusk dodged an attack from a clawed hand that jumped from the smoke with only seconds to spare and crashed through the window of one of the houses near them. Landing in the glass that she had just broken opened a few wounds, leaving blood sliding across the once white, before burnt, carpet. Dusk stood quickly and ran toward the stairs as Dawn was right behind her. As she reached the top of the stairway of the house she saw a young woman sitting there. Dusk stopped there, in shock. I thought everyone was dead. How did this girl manage to survive!? the child was very young looking possibly only four or five years old. She had tears in her slanted green eyes and blood and dirt and ash matting her hair together and making it barely recognisable as silver colored hair. She looked terrified at the sight of Dusk and began crying loudly, tears streaking her ash smudged face.

Dusk didnt much care about the child's safety but she picked her up in her arms. The childs heart was strong, beaming with pure light energy. It would be irresistable to Dawn. Dawn would come and when she did... she would try to take the childs heart. And when Dawn was distracted, Dusk would strike. With that in mind, Dusk spoke soothingly to the girl. "Shhh... calm down child... I can help you." she whispered. "But first you must do something for me." she was using hypnosis on he child as she spoke the girl stopped crying. "Thats right... good girl. Stand here and when the monster comes in do not move. She will take you. It will all be over soon." she whispered "I promise. It will all be over soon, my darling girl." she whispered with the same falsely kind and soothing voice. She kissed the child's forehead as she put her down and walked away then. The girl stood where Dusk left her at the top of the stairs.

Dusk knew when Dawn saw the child from the bottom of the stairway when she heard the shreak, the ear piercing sound that sounded like a cross between a woman's scream of horror and a wolf's howl. The girl stood there with a blank look in her eyes, tears still falling from her lifeless eyes and streaking down her ash covered face illuminated by the growing fire. She heard the footsteps on the stairway as Dawn made her way to the girl.

Suddenly, Dawn had a better idea. This girls heart is purely light energy... Dusk is made of corrupted darkness and survives by corrupting both the strongest of light and darkness but only once she has corrupted it. If she came in contact with purelight or pure darkness... suddenly she realised she was sacrificing the little girl in the wrong way and changed her strategy. Runnint out of time, Dusk darted out of her hiding place. She saw Dawn looming over the child staring down at the child with ravenous eyes, looking like a hole in the universe itself besides those dragon like eyes. "DAWN!" Dusk challenged then, in a loud voice.

As her heartless's eyes were turned to Dusk, Dusk struck then. She shot a blast of essenceless energy toward Dawn through the little girl. As the energy passed through the child it picked up some of the light from the girls heart and as the girl screamed and fell over a bright light was blasted through her and into Dawn. Dawn shreaked in rage and pain and for a breif moment she disappeared.

The little girl lay motionless in the center of the staircase, blood dripping from her nose, ears, mouth, and the skin of her hands appeared to be burnt. When Dawn appearend again, Dusk saw that her plan had worked. Dawn's body, always black and barely audiablable was covered in cuts where a black liquid was leaking out. Dawn looked like she was in a lot of pain and for the first time, she looked afraid but more furious than anything.

The girl awoke then, crying again now out of fear and pain. Dusk walked toward the child, ready to use her again, not bothering to calm the child anymore. Dawn backed away and then her body began to fade "Until next time, Dusk." her voice echoed.

"DONT YOU RUN AWAY FROM ME!" Dusk shouted but it was too late. Dusk was gone. The little light child stood and ran then down the stairs and out the door. Dusk was left alone in the building, only now realising that she was inside the royal palace of the world. She didnt bother going after the child, who she assumed was either a part of the royal family or some servant.
She didnt bother going after the child. The whole world was going to collapse any minute now and she would die along with it. She disappeared as well into the corrupted shadows around her....

Dusk's eyes fluttered open as she awoke from the memory. She lie there in the empty library. "So thats what I did..." she said out loud, sitting up favoring her head because it was pounding. "How simple. I need pure light, and pure darkness and it has to be used strongly enough that she can not corrupt it and it has to be fast enough that she can not run away. It has to be something strong enough to kill her with only one try." she smiled a devious grin thinking of the pieces she would need to summon that much power. She stood up lazily and walked to the book shelf. "Why not ask the wisdom of every author of these books. With that, she raised her hands above her head. With a snap of her fingers every book in the library flew from the shelves and flew around the creating a whirlwind but words were being ripped from the pages and thrown to the center of the storm of books she had created. Soon, the books dropped and all that was left were words spelled out of the torn papers from the now mangled books.

Dusk read out loud the words hovering there in the air "The seven princesses of heart, the power of a keyblade weilder, pure twilight, and the very faces of Light and Darkness themselves. Pure twilight? Pure means new, clean... but Twilight is a mix between light and shadow. Theres the worlds biggest oxymoron. Damn books I hate it when you give me riddles!" the papers shread and fell to the ground in pieces looking like snow. "Oh well... I now have my recipe for Dawns distruction... I think its time I found that little girl again...

Jade couldnt sleep. She sat up in bed, looking around and feeling on edge like... she was being watched. She couldnt shake the feeling, sitting there in the dim moonlight that came from the window. Oh Jade get a grip! she thought to herself, trying to pass off the feeling as just shock still from the distruction of Disney Castle. She closed her eyes and lay her head down on the pillow with a deep breath.

That feeling came again, like she was being watched. And then, she heard something like the sound of someone scratching a chalkboard just above her head. Her eyes flew open and she found herself face to face with a pair of big round yellow glowing eyes. The girl screamed and jumped from the bed. She stumbled over a stool next to the bed, being unfamiliar to the room in the darkness, and fell to the ground. From there, she could see more sets of yellow eyes under the bed. It looked like they were coming from right out of the floor! Mortified, Jade recognised them as the same type of creature that showed up just before her childhood home world was destroyed along with Disney Caslte. Mickey had called them Heartless. Jade reached for the wall for where she had left her sword but it was not there. "Huh!?" she said, looking back to see for herself. In the very dim light she could see only a wall and blank space where her sword use to rest. She didnt have time to react before she saw a pale face come come out of the wall. It was the face of a girl with skin so white and eyes red that glowed almost as brightly as the heartless's. She had white thin hair that got darker to black at its tips and it hung straight, barely parting for her face.

Jade felt like she was watching a corpse walk as the woman came through the wall as though it was not even there. Her face and body were so thin that Jade could see her ribcage sticking through her shirt even in the darkness and every movement she made almost looked like it was rewound, it was unnatural. "Who are you!?" Jade demanded, standing up.

The woman smirked "You dont remember me little girl? Oh now I'm crushed." she said. Jade suddenly remembered the womans face, like something from a nightmare. Dont be afraid child... you will be safe... but first you must do something for me... the voice of her memory echoed through the room. Why did this all sound so familiar? She felt more afraid than she ever had before in her life. "No..." The monster will come but no fear child. I will protect you. She will take you. Dont worry child it will all be over soon. Hush... Jade felt a sick feeling but part of her felt like listening to the voice... "No..." Jade didnt know why this all sounded so familiar or what was happening but she didnt like it. She was afraid. She turned and ran seeing her sword laying on the floor just by the door of the hotel room surrounded by more of the creatures. She reached through them and felt one claw at her arm as she lifted her sword up. She killed more heatless standing in front of the door and ran then. What is happening to me!? she thought to herself.

Dusk only stood there "I knew it... she survived luckily. Apparently I still have use for her after all."

"Go back home." she ordered the heartless "With the darkness as limited as it is on this world now, I cant create more heartless." the creatures disappeared as she commanded. Dusk didnt bother going after the girl. "We are connected Jade." she said out loud. "I know a part of me still rests in your heart from when we attacked the monster together. And because of that, we will see each other again and you will help me. You have no other choice."

Jade heard a voice in her head and it freaked her out even more. "No I wont! Leave me alone!" she screamed from where she was, now outside the hotel and in the back allies of the City of Dawn.

'Calm down Jade... I will not chace you any more tonight. Sleep for now. But know, we will see each other again someday.'

"leave me alone!" Jade said, she stood there in the silence for a moment but the voice didnt answer. Finally, the feeling that she was being watched was gone. She knew now that she was completely and totally alone. It was then that she broke down in tears.

Dawn watched from above the world with hunger in her heart. All that light, all that power, all those hearts could be hers. She reached out towards the button which would cause her to plummet her gummi ship down to the world but it was too dangerous. There was too much light to fight against. She repealed her hand and sulked.
"I need an army" she told herself, as she looked around at the 100 ships around hers. "This is not enough. I need more hearts"
The 100 ships then turned around. "The next stop should be Traverse Town. Many people have taken refuge there..."
She gave a wicked smile and sat back down on her throne like seat.

"Wow... That went... Well." Duelo muttered after Raven left. "Although, fair enough. Her relationship with him is none of my business. Admittedly though, I only said those things in an attempt to convince her." He stood up and began wandering around his house, getting lost in thought. "I can consider her an ally for fighting the monsters I unleashed, but unfortunately I won't have her support for getting rid of the seal. It would probably be best if I put that plan on a temporary hiatus. If I try breaking the seal like last time, Voltair will resist again and only a minor bit of the darkness will return, again. But if I were to find some sort of catalyst to help, I could get the upper hand in releasing the seal. That rogue heartless might provide the strength I need. Although I'd have to play my cards right. Raven will fight her, but I doubt she'd allow me to use the heartless. Hmm... What a predicament."

Raven took a deep breath as she stepped back out onto the streets, wondering if she had acted too angry with the kid. It did annoy her some that he seemed so confident in his goal that she did not agree with even after his first attempt empowered a super psycho heartless killer who was destroying entire worlds by the hour. Something told her she would run into Duelo again sometime in the future. That will be interesting. she thought to herself. Suddenly, she could see a figure in the distance running from the shadows. Raven watched the new comer not really expecting a fight especially when she saw that it was a young girl looking no older than 18 or 19. She had slanted green eyes and shoulder length silvery blonde hair and very tanned skin.

As the girl got closer, Raven could see that she looked afraid and decided to help. She approached the girl cautiously, not really knowing who to trust at the moment. The girl spoke before Raven had a chance to, looking at Raven and grabbing her shoulders "You have to help me. They are after me!" she cried.

Back at Raven's house, Melody, Kiba, and Talon were still talking. Melody enjoyed the conversation after the tension between the two boys seemed to have lessened. She was about to say something when she heard the front door open.

"Raven?" she asked, standing up and walking toward the door. Raven came into the house followed by someone that Melody didn't recognize. It was a girl that appeared to be a little bit older than Melody with silvery hair and big slanted green eyes. The girl looked frightened and pale and had a large gash on her forehead. Melody automatically wanted to know what was going on "What happened? Who is she? Girl are you alright?"

Raven lead the girl inside and sat her down at a chair, ignoring the questions. "Melody, get some hot water. This wound wont heal magically for some reason so we have to do it the old fashioned way." she was saying as she knelt down and pulled out the first aid supply again. "Kiba, go down to the basement. You can find it just beyond that door-" she motioned with her hand to a door that was barely noticeable under the staircase. "-I assume you still remember the the gummi ship training you had. Make sure that everything is squared away for a depa-" she stopped talking when she looked at the boy she was talking to and realized he was not Kiba. "OK, since when were there three of you people?" she asked all three of them.

The new girl looked confused, but less afraid than before.

Talon, as soon as he saw the bloody gash on her forehead, went up to the girl.
"Who did this to you?" he asked, sheathing his blade out ready to defend everyone. From the corner of his eye, he saw Kiba slowly getting up to his feet. He was still injured but this infuriated Talon.
"What the hell are you doing, Kiba!? Do what she told you like the little boy you are!" Talon shouted at him. He revolved himself back towards the girl, regretting what he said.
"Maybe that was too harsh" he thought.

Kiba gripped his fists, as he got up on his feet. "Who does he think he is? He saved me but what gives him the right to be a douchebag to me?" Melody wouldn't like him. Would she? Is he better than me?
Gripping his teeth, Kiba climbed down the steps, almost tumbling over a left out broom. His leg was still throbbing in pain. By the stairway, there was a cabinet clearly marked "First Aid". He pulled the cabinet open and received the necessary utensils to heal her wounds. He began to climb up with the throbbing of his leg being twice as terrible but as he was about to shout in anguish, he simply stopped and thought about Melody. As a kid, Kiba was strong for her; he led her out of prison, he saved Melody from dying, he saved her from the darkness. Now he had to be that person again. He triumphed over the staircase soon after and hobbled towards Raven and the girl.
"Here" he said, handing over the equipment he obtained.

Raven nodded gratefully and got to work helping the girl with her injuries. Melody was silent for a while, holding a bowl of hot water for Raven to use. After a moment, Raven spoke. "I'll explain everything but first I want to know." she looked at Talon but only half way still working on the girl's injury. "Who are you?"

The girl looked like she was kind of delirious. Melody wondered if she was even aware of what was going on around her.

Talon looked up at Raven, confused. She looked really familiar. She looked like someone in his dreams, the person who sacrificed herself for something. He shook his head and stared at the girl's wound.
"My name is Talon" he told her. He rose his hands up to her forehead and they brightened white (left) and black (right). He took a deep breath and created an impulse of power which blew him backwards onto a wooden table.
"Damn it. I thought I mastered it" he muttered. The wood beneath him snapped and Talon fell through.

Kiba couldn't help but laugh as he sat down next to Melody. "Oh, did you fall? Look who the little kid is now!?"
Talon stepped up and faced Kiba face to face, with his fists flaring black. "Let's see who the little kid is then, bitch"
Kiba wasn't expecting the boy to jump at him, making him jump in fright but he stood his ground, glaring at the boy's eyes.

Melody sighed here they go again... she thought to herself.

Raven rolled her eyes "Ladies, ladies, you're both beautiful. Save the catfight for something that matters." she said sarcastically, finishing wrapping the girl's wound.

Melody giggled about Raven's comment but said noting. They had it coming.

At this point, the girl was unconscious *she's Faith's character so I'll wait for her to post before she talks*. Raven allowed her to lie back against the back of the chair that she had sat her down in. Had she been hallucinating or did she just see that kid use light and dark magic at the same time. "What was that thing you just did?" she asked.

The two boys were still glaring at each other, despite Raven's comment. It just made Talon even angrier and he ignored the woman because of it.
"You know, Kiba? I think you're one of those guys who rely on being the weakling so girls like you" he told Kiba. The keyblader simply looked away and sat next to Melody.
"I do not care. Mel and I have been together since we were 10 and I have saved her countless times. Isn't that right, Mel?"

Talon knew he was beaten by Kiba. The two did have something but he still knew perhaps, Melody felt something for him. He looked away from the two and began to walk outside the house but before he left, he turned back around to Melody.
"Remember, if soft skin here can't help you, find me" he told her, staring at her deep blue eyes before he exited the building. He began to walk up the street, now sensing the darkness wasn't in the City of Dawn.
"Now, where are you, darkness?"

Duelo walked outside of his house, holding what looked to be a type of lantern attached to a fishing pole. "Unfortunately, this thing probably won't work on this world. But hopefully it should attract some darkness. I know it won't attract that powerful heartless though. Due to this world being Voltair's and Raven's, it is protected. No matter how much power anybody can amass, the citizens of this world are protected. So it is fortunate for me. But I think there is some darkness on this world. If there is, this object should attract them. Like fish going for the bait. Although I'm not expecting much darkness. But any amount will do."

Melody rolled her eyes "Ugh boys!" she said, exasperated. She stood up and turned to Kiba "Look, you know I love you and nothing is going to change that. Him being upset about that gives you no reason to fire back. You two are being childish and he needs our help maybe just as much as we need his!" she said before she left the house too.

Maybe its a good thing Voltair and I cant have a normal life for now. I'm horrible with kids. Raven thought to herself casually as she threw away the bloody rags and crossed her arms, looking to Kiba "Not to pry into your personal business but what is going on?"

Dusk walked through the streets of the city. So many of the ones I'm searching for are here on this world. I can feel it... but I have to be patient. I need a plan. she saw some light ahead and smirked recognizing the method. The holder of the light was getting closer and Dusk stood still. It was a boy she could tell he wasn't very old. What would a kid who apparently seemed weaponless want searching for darkness. "You know, all the heartless were sent away." she said casually as the boy came close enough to hear her. "If you are looking for a Shadow, trust me, its unlikely now." she said, amused.

Duelo smiled as he approached Dusk. "Oh, I know the heartless have been sent away. On top of that, I am aware of just how unlikely it would be for me to find a shadow. But I have found one, nonetheless. After all, were you but a regular person you would've ignored me. And what a wonderful catch you are. You're more than I was expecting to find on this world." Duelo held the fishing pole in a way so it was resting across one of his shoulders. "Since you seem to have free will, I wonder if you would be willing to listen to a proposition of mine. A mutually beneficial plan that would help the both of us."

Dusk considered it. Having a few allies could be useful to her particularly with the road she had ahead. If she really needed all seven of the purest of heart, and a keyblade wielder it was going to be enough of an ordeal. Add in what she thought might be what the very hearts of light and darkness themselves meant, that would only add to the chaos not to mention the Twilight part.
She smiled casually "You have my attention. Hows this. If I like your idea I wont kill you like I was originally planning. Deal?"

Jade woke up then, feeling weak and her head was throbbing. She saw the girl from the streets there but now they were in a very well lit room indoors. Not far she saw two kids, not much younger than her. Her memories flooded back she rememberd the heartless and the scary woman and the distruction of Disney Castle and for a moment forgot where she was. "Where am I who are you people!?" she asked, reaching for her sword.

Raven put out a hand to the girl's arm in attempt to calm her. "Its alright, you are safe now." she said "My name is Raven, you remember? We met on the streets. You were hurt and magic wasnt working on you so I brought you to my home which is where we are now." she explained "This is Kiba," she gestured to Kiba "And the girl that just left is Melody. Speaking of which." Raven looked to Kiba, "Its dangerous to be out there right now. Events on the town today make me assume that one of our enemies may be in town tonight. What shes looking for, I dont know, but I dont like you and Melody out for too long tonight. If you are going to go after her, I'd hurry." she suggested.

"Talon!" Melody called after him. She stopped when she caught up to him. "Dont go." she said.

Kiba was relieved to hear that but she seemed annoyed at him....very annoyed. "But I didn't do anything-" He looked over to Raven. "
"Well, you see...that jerk rescued me and ever since then he's been flirting with my girlfriend and has called me a weakling"
Talon heard footsteps behind him and smiled as he turned around to see Melody. "Ah Melody, you've come to your senses, have you? Are you coming with me?"
Raven smiled a little "Oh to be in love at fifteen years old." she laughed "Kiba does it matter that he's flirting with Melody if you know that she loves you? Just trust her."
Kiba looked down with a frown.
"She blushed when he kissed her on the hand"
Once again, Raven was amused. "Some girls get that way. What are you guys sixteen now?" feeling a little awkward she stood up "Im not going to explain this to you if your parents havent yet." she said abruptly. "My point is, Talon may be the first boy thats given her that kind of attention besides you in her whole life. Of course, its going to be new to her. That doesnt mean they are going to
elope in the morning. Melody just watched her whole world fall to pieces around her and you are all thats left of it. Trust me, that is something big. You need each other."
"She's out there right now, chasing after him!"
"Well yeah she's being friendly and helping those in need. Its weird when someone else has feelings for someone you know you love but you need to try to control yourself and keep the peace or I promse it will only get worse." she said empathetically.
She sighed "I dont know half of your story. But I know without trust there is nothing, no friendship and so certainly no love. if she says there is nothing going on, shes an honest girl and you should believe her." she shrugged and the girl moaned. "I'm going to take her upstairs. We leave for Traverse Town tomorrow." she picked up Jade and took her to one of the guest rooms.
Kiba shuffled his hands into his pockets and sat onto the couch. He spoke to Raven before she left his sight, "Thank you..."
Melody shook her head "Talon, I'm flattered really. But Kiba and I have something special and I barely know you." she sighed "I came because I wanted to ask you to stay. I think we could help you, and we could use your help too."
Talon walked up to her and stroked her hair. "We have something special too. I know you like me. You're just hiding it because you don't want to break Kiba's heart"
Melody shook her head "Kiba and I have been through too much together for that to be all there is. I love him. Yes, I think you are cute and if I had never met him then who knows what we could have had. But I have met him, and thats that."
"I do care about you, Talon. Which is why I want to help you and I want you to stay with us."
Talon held her hand to stop her from talking. "I will not give up, Melody. I know we are meant to be" he told her, placing her hand on his heart. He smiled at her. "You can love me and I'll prove it to you"
He suddenly kissed her lips, almost toppling over her but remaining to keep his balance.
He was anxious but never so exhilarated in his life.
It was truly his first kiss.
Melody was too surprised to react partly at the kiss and partly because she hadnt been expecting to feel anything. It wasnt quite the same as when she was with Kiba... but there was something there. All the sudden feeling uncomfortable, Melody turned away. "We shouldnt do this."
Kiba walked outside to get some fresh air from all this mess, unable to let go of his feelings. He loved Melody but had a terrible inkling in his gut about the blush she made. He hated that gut feeling because now he knew maybe he didn't trust her. Talon turned her back towards him in his arms and kissed her once more. Suddenly Kiba heard a smacking sound coming from his left ear.
He turned around and saw Melody, his love, his childhood fantasy, his girlfriend, kissing Talon, the boy she just met. He felt as though his heart was stabbed through. "Mel...." he mouthed wide opened. Tears flowed down like a river as he ran away from the predicament, into the streets, into the dark.
The echoes of his sobs were heard throughout the street.
Melody was mortified. She looked back at Talon "You knew he was comming didnt you!? Thats why you did that!" she shoved him. "What is wrong with you two!" she said tears filling her eyes. "Kiba!" she called, running after him.
Kiba continued walking, not knowing what to say.
Talon cried out, "No!!! I didn't!!! Melody, come back!"
Melody wasnt sure what to think or do. She didnt hear Talon, she was too far away at this point. "Kiba please believe me. It was Talon I told him no." she said "I dont know what to think but I wouldnt have done that to you."
Kiba stopped. "It happened and I can't take that out of my mind..."

Melody sighed "Kiba... I'm sorry but I can’t do this. How can you love me if you cant even trust me and know I would never do something like that to you." she had tears in her eyes.
Kiba placed his hands in his pockets. "I do love you and I trust you" he told her, not wanting to break their relationship. It was a lie though. He simply did not know whether she loved him (the weakling) or the strong edgy boy, who charms the ladies.
Melody sighed, walking up to him and wrapping her arms around him from behind resting her head on his shoulder. "Then why does Talon bother you so much? And why do you care so much what he says?" she asked "Can’t you just see yourself he way I see you and understand that, yes Talon is great, but so are you?"
Kiba shook his head. "I am a weakling, Melody. Talon is better than me...."
"Why do you think you are weak?" Melody asked.
Kiba frowned and answered, "I couldn't even faze the heartless..."

Melody shook her head "Don’t blame yourself for that. Talon has been training all this time. Neither of us have. We are both a little rusty, but you're always my hero either way."
Kiba smiled. He still was her hero but that kiss... He obviously forced her to kiss her.
He turned back around to Melody and hugged her. "I will always need you too. We will get through this."
Talon was watching and almost felt sick to the stomach. He was watching the girl who looked like his previous love, hugging a weakling like Kiba. "Oh, I will always need you too! Yeah, he definitely will" he muttered.
Melody smiled "Its about time you stopped being so pessimistic!" she exclaimed. "Now can we go back? its freezing out here." she complained light-heartedly "Besides, I think that girl woke up and I want to know what happened to her."
Kiba held her hand and kissed it. "For you, anything" he said, repeatimg what Talon did when he met her.
Recognising what Kiba did, Melody laughed "Oh shut up." she said playfully, keeping his hand in hers and walking toward the house pulling him with her gently "I love you."
Kiba smiled at her gleaming face. "I love you too Melody" he told her, as they entered inside.

Talon began to walk away in the coldness of the night. Haze began to drift from the streams and he felt the world becoming much darker around him. He placed his hands inside his pockets, trying to keep some warmth.
There was hatred inside him, hatred of life treating him like crap. He was the freak and when a girl finally sees him for what he isn't, ever since the last, she's already with someone.
"I will still fight for you Melody..."
He leaned against a brick wall and stared at the stars, not as bright as he remembered.
"We live in dark times. The darkness is still around, meaning I still have work to do....but...."
He looked towards him and saw Melody and Kiba together.
"Maybe the light isn't a good thing either. It treats me like shit and casts me away from society"
"They're scared of me...." he mumbled, as he looked at his hands steaming in darkness.
"Fear comes from a person, not a force like light or Darkness." a voice interrupted. Raven wasn't that far from Talon, standing arms crossed her weight shifted to her hip. She had been pretty quiet in approaching the kid, unintentionally.
"Sorry for the interruption." she admitted, not entirely sure why she even bothered coming out here. "It's dangerous to be out alone tonight... especially for a kid with your particular talents." she pointed out "Aren’t your parents worried about you?"
Talon didn't budge when she randomly appeared. He was too frustrated with what was going on around him, he simply didn't care. "People are scared of my abilities. They call me a demon, a freak. Melody is the first person in a long while who's been like that to me but the light itself is just as monstrous as the darkness"
Talon stood up and stared at her in the eyes. "All the light wants to do is eradicate whoever scares them and make sure their precious paradise is alright. The darkness wants to eradicate the light because they want to be accepted which is just as terrible. There is an ongoing war and it will never stop. I'm in the middle of it and now, I have no choice" he told her.
He unsheathed his blade and faced it towards Raven.
"I must eradicate the light as well as the darkness. There must be balance. There must be Twilight"
Raven didn’t look at all worried "Good luck, kid. They are eternal. And balance is achieved by something that is there, not that is dead." she pointed out as she walked forward. "Light is only a force just like fire or wind, Darkness is the same. Yes they are the most powerful but they are only forces just the same. What most people think of as 'light and shadow' are really confused with 'good and
evil' which has nothing at all to do with the light and darkness. An evil man could use fire just as easily but would that brand fire as evil, even the flames you use to keep warm at night?" She very suddenly disarmed Talon with a spell. "you let your emotions think for you and that is making you weak. Think clearly and put that away before someone gets hurt."
Talon stared at her, now remembering the dreams that he had. He flung himself to the ground, confused and agitated. "What is my purpose and who are you? Why do I see you in my dreams, over and over again?" he asked her with his hands crawling on his face, covering his eyes.
Raven was surprised, not sure if the kid was bipolar, crazy, or just really really dramatic. "My name is Raven." she answered "And I am the keeper of the light." she answered, unsure how else to word it. She knelt down and pulled Talon upright "As for your destiny and your dreams, if you are ever going to find that out you have to do it on your own... preferably on your feet." she smiled.
