While I was doing my Final Fantasy studies, I ended up coming across something intriguing on the cycles. During one or some of the cycles, one warrior had a a powerful mind that caught Cid's attention and that there were three warriors who ended up weakened and was destroyed during purification. The warrior with the powerful mind was believed to be in connection with Shinryu. Which warriors do you believe could be the 4? There are a whole list of possibilities so all of you are able to throw in your theories and opinions and ideas.

Most likely the warrior he was talking about was either the Warrior of Light or Garland.

As Dissidia 012 showed, WoL and Garland are special. They aren't warriors summoned by Cosmos and Chaos like the rest are. Instead they are from the world that the war between the gods takes place. I don't remember all the details, but you can always go look it up.

Nah. It can't be. Otherwise, they would've stated their names. Not only that, it cannot be Garland because he feels more of a connection with Chaos. Not sure about the Warrior of Light but since his name was never stated, it is a possibility but it might not since he was created by Cid.

I swear, you post these threads just so you can disagree with people (Especially me). Stop asking for people's opinions if you're gonna go ahead and disagree with them.

And yes, odd are it is either Garland or WoL.

It has a higher chance of being Garland than anybody else. He may have a connection with Chaos, but he has a greater connection with Cid and Shinryu. In case you weren't aware, Chaos didn't want to participate in the war (For at least 12 of the cycles). Garland was the one who managed to keep Chaos involved, which in doing so was going along with Cid's and Shinryu's original plan.

That's because he didn't have a name until Prishe gave him a name.

Being created by Cid gives him a higher possibility of being the warrior with the connection to Shinryu, considering that Cid and Shinryu were working together until the end of the 12 cycle.

And yet another possibility for it being the WoL is the fact that out of these four warriors you mentioned, three of them were destroyed. In the original FF game, there are 4 WoL. It isn't too much of a stretch to consider the possibility that with Dissidia, only one WoL survived.

Just because I disagree doesn't mean that I just make these threads just to disagree. I have the right to disagree or doubt about someone's answers just as you and everyone else have the reason and option to do too. If you have a problem with me disagreeing (Since you are now starting to act as though you are insecure about me taking on the action) then stop posting in my threads then. Just getting that out now so there are no problem down the road and I make these threads so that we can discuss and share and enjoy what we talk, not to bash. "Agree to Disagree". That is what I am doing and it depends on the person's opinion is where it gets to whether I will agree or disagree.

Anyways, just because Garland was able to have Chaos to participate in the cycle does not mean that he has a greater connection with Cid and Shinryu. There's nothing stating that Garland had a connection with Cid or Shinryu, especially since he came into the Rift by unknown means. Garland is just there to have Chaos to keep on fighting so that Cosmos, Chaos and Cid can return back home. However, he had doubts about the end of each cycle and wanted to find out for himself and asked Cosmos, showing that he don't know everything that is going on that Cosmos had promised with Cid, Chaos and Shinryu. Not saying that it cannot be him but I am having a high doubt because he never was one of the warriors who "Perished and never came back during Purification." and I believe that Garland never even knew Shinryu before Dissidia and I don't think he had a powerful mind at that time... unless you can give me some evidence.

As for the Warrior of Light, I do not mind accepting him but I still have a little bit of doubts. At the same time, he is not one of the warriors who "Perished and never came back" and he may have a powerful mind; I still cannot figure out if I should say that he is the warrior who has a connection because he is a perfect manikin that has been created by Cid. Since he is created by Cid, I have a reason to have little doubts about him. Still, he fits more than Garland in my opinion.

There are other warriors who may have a powerful mind. Golbez, Sephiroth, Shantotto (Maybe), Gabranth(Maybe), Yuna, Kain, Jecht, Gilgamesh... we can start crossing them out one by one but we can also include characters from other games who may had a powerful mind to have a connection with Shinyru. As for the perished warriors, I am not so thoughtful on that part since it can be anyone. We can include Prishe in there if we want since we know that she did not survive purification.
