Kingdom Hearts on the brain!

    Hi there,

First post, figured I'd skip the "Say Hi" section and jump straight to it.

I'm nearly 24, I've played through nearly all the Kingdom Hearts games with the exception of the DS versions. And I can safely say that the series is (pardon the obvious pun) very close to my heart.

The incredible music which I listen to every day, the mixture of deep, involving characters, and the wonderful feeling of being a child again while exploring the worlds of Disney, to getting goosebumps at fighting with and against some memorable Final Fantasy characters whom also have meant much to me in the past.

This game series is a concoction of sheer creativity and brilliance. One of the few remaining beacons of pure heart put into a game in an otherwise creatively dying industry.

I signed up here because, when I walk down the street, interact with people, and just generally go about my day to day life, I will seldom go a day without a KH battle theme or character theme playing in my head spurring me through the day. And I hope to find others here that share in my passion for one of the few remaining game series that genuinely connects with you should you let it.

Since the day I turned on my PS2 as a young lad and heard Dearly Beloved on the title menu, I knew I was in for something special.

Long live the world of Kingdom Hearts!

P.S. Oh, and nice to meet you ;-)

I know what you mean. My first Kingdom Hearts game was Chain of Memories.
Obviously I was confused with the story.
But "Sanctuary" was my favorite song. It goes deep.

Kingdom Hearts is on my mind. 25/8

Ha, Chain of Memories is going to be a confusing one to start with!

None of the songs have pushed me to tears, but Dearly Beloved Birth by Sleep version got me close. I just love the simplicity of the piece but yet it's so emotionally touching.

Sooooooooo happy to find others who have it on their mind 25/8!! I thought maybe I was the only one! lol

I love that Dearly Beloved. I know it on piano, and a couple other kingdom hearts songs like the orginizations theme. They each have a deep meaning to them all.

Welcome to the forums Mr.deep. I solute you with Ice-cream-cake

I love cookies and cream, including ice cream cakes with cookies.
I started with KH1 actually, since it's the first game. And welcome.

Yes, Kingdom Hearts is one of the greatest. Good luck with you all then.

Nice speech dude, and you are totally right,kh's music is awesome,i belong to an orchestra and i'm trying to convince them to play some songs like Dearly Beloved it would be beautiful ,but in my opnion the most beautiful song is the one they play in the credits i'm going to buy or download a soundtrack to discover the name, that music combined with the videos and then the special movies like the one BBS( I cried when Sora was talking to Ven's heart and in KH2 when Sora gives his hand to Riku and say:"We'll go together") and nice to meet you

advice:if u have a decent PC try to emulate the DS games,u REALLY can't miss Days, trust me
edit:u cant miss Days but u can miss coded if u want watch Signs of what's next on youtube will save 15 hours of your life
