Loveless has made a comback!!

I dont know if anyone else is a fan of the Loveless manga series, but if you are I am more than pleased to announce that TokyoPop has at last respojded to the growing popularity of Loveless and has continued releasing the manga where it previously left off.

Loveless was released in only 8 volumes to american audiences. And sadly due to questionable popularity, was removed from TokyoPop support. And for the next X years, it jever saw another release in the States. Ajd at last volume 9 has released.

Loveless is based on the astral plane theory, that your words have power. In this story, there are people called fighters, and sacrifices. And they work in teams of two. One fighter is paired with one sacrifice, both bearing matching true names. For example the team known as Painless. The role of the fighter is to use wordspell, (basically using their words as spells to attack the opposing team.) The sacrifice is the support, and usually commands the fighter how to attack, however if an attack makes contact with the fighter, the sacrifice takes the damage. The fight is over when one of the sacrifices are immobilized or incapacitated.

Thats the basis. The story follows a 12 year old boy named Ritsuka. Who learns he is a sacrifice named Loveless. His brother was killed and he is trying to find out who killed him. And Soubi. A College student who is Ritsuka's late brother's Fighter unit. They come together with similar goals and both search for Ritsuka's brother's murderer.
